He was wonderful to work with, very responsive, professional, friendly and very helpful in suggesting certain songs to go with special things we were doing with our wedding. He was GREAT.... We've been to lots of weddings and heard lots of DJ's. We had Matty B for our daughter's wedding and he was by far the best. He is fun and talented and knows how to make everyone have a good time. All of our guests commented on how wonderful he was.

Matty B provided the best entertainment for our wedding than we ever thought possible. He was so easy to work with and professional that leading up to the big day we didn’t worry about him once. We knew he would be great. During dinner he played the sax and sang some soft music that made for a perfect, classy setting. Once dinner ended, he turned the reception into a party. From ages 7-80, not one guest was sitting down. We had so many guests ask us where we found Matty B, because they had never seen someone so talented before at a wedding. Five Stars across the board! Matty B did am amazing job at our wedding on June 5th. He was a pleasure to work with, the MOST cost effective and by far the most talented musician AND entertainer I have ever seen. He did live ceremony music, DJed and MCed the reception and played a live Sax for the rest. All of our guests could not stop talking about how good the music was and how entertaining Matty B was. He did such an amazing job, the staff from our reception location wanted his information.

Matty B - a brilliant entertainer. On June 3rd, I hosted my son's wedding rehearsal dinner in Newport RI. The scenic ocean view of Newport Bay was beautiful; however, the entertainment provided by Matty B stole the show. To say the least, Matty was captive and outstanding. Words alone are difficult to describe the ambiance he brings to a celebration. You have to experience it. His charismatic effect as an entertainer drew compliments from family and friends. Whenever someone would ask who my DJ was and I said "Matty B," people's faces lit up and everyone would say great things about him and his work. Every vendor I worked with spoke very highly of him and said it's ALWAYS a good time when Matty B is there.
He truely was fabulous! During dinner he walked around guest tables singing and playing his saxophone and then later in the night when people were dancing he acted as just a DJ. We truly couldn't be happier with Matty B. He had everyone up on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. We loved how he was able to play his own instruments during out cocktail hour and some of our reception. Matty made our wedding reception truly one to remember. We were lucky to see Matty at weddings for 2 of our friends before he actually performed at ours and like at theirs he did a wonderful job at ours. I can't begin to tell you how many people came up to me during my wedding reception to tell me how amazing Matty was and what a great job he did. Matty B provided the music and entertainment for our New Years Eve wedding. I can't recommend him highly enough. Our guests continually approached us during the night asking where we found him because we was AMAZING and provided much more than just music throughout the night - he provided entertainment throughout the evening.

He played the sax beautifully during cocktail hour and during dinner. If he played the sax alone, he would be an amazing addition to any wedding. However, he also played the guitar (amazingly I may add) for other songs during dinner. The sax and guitar were outstanding but I couldn't have been more impressed with his talent in singing.

He sang many songs through the evening and his vocal range and clarity is incredible. I (and our guests) had to continually look over to see if it was the actual song or if it was him singing. He really is THAT good.

We left the choice of music for dancing completely up to him and he did not disappoint. His choices of songs were spot on and he has an innate ability to feel out the guests and keep the flow and rhythm going throughout the night. He played a wide variety of musical genres and got the entire wedding involved.

Our wedding started at 6 PM and continued until nearly 1 AM (to celebrate the New Years). That's SEVEN hours of music that Matty B was asked to provide and I can honestly say, he was incredible. His ability to DJ part of the night and ALSO provide live music entertainment kept the night lively, fresh and entertaining.

We also had some last minute changes to our wedding (my wife's father was very sick but was able to attend the wedding at the last minute) and Matty B was able to roll with the changes with no issues. He communicated via phone calls, emails and his VERY good website so that way we were on the same page leading up to the wedding.

If you are considering just getting a DJ for your wedding, I would HIGHLY recommend that you consider Matty B. Due to his professionalism, I had no worries about the entertainment leading up to the wedding and he did NOT disappoint at all.
