Matt was an absolutely amazing MC. We had a mixed group of guests for our reception about half were used to receptions with lots of drinking and dancing, the others more used to a mellow reception focused mostly on eating the food and visiting with people. We also had a LOT of kids. So it was most important for me to be able to include everyone in the dancing, and to make sure that there was a wide variety of music being played.
I was amazed at how well everything went. My Aunt and Uncle who NEVER EVER dance at weddings (or any parties) were actually dancing. Everyone had an absolute blast.
Another thing I found really impressive is that Matt was completely flexible and willing to make modifications to our master plan as the reception was occurring. Some things took longer than anticipated so we opted to cut out several of the "special dances."
In addition to being amazing on the wedding day, Matt also spent a lot of time meeting with myself and my wedding planner to ensure that everything we wanted in our wedding and reception that he was involved in would be exactly how we wanted it. It's really nice to have a vendor who is so willing to cooperate and plan with your other vendors. This definitely helped our wedding turn out exactly how we wanted.

Matt truly made our day special! He is so professional throughout the entire process, from the first meeting, follow-up phone calls and meetings before the wedding, to the big day, Matt knows his stuff. He took so much stress off our shoulders. His attention to detail is remarkable! If you want a special song played, Matt will do his best to find it for you. He goes above and beyond what anyone could ever imagine in a wedding DJ/Entertainer.

Awesome job. He is the one for the job. He helped us plan everything of what was suppose to happen, and kept us on track. My husband and I are very satisfied and glad we decided to go with Matt.

Matt was the picture of professionalism when we hired him to DJ our wedding. What we got was much more than "just a DJ". He was responsible for the entire coordination and success of our wedding day. As a bride-to-be, Matt made me feel so at ease about the whole event. He met with my fiance and I well in advance, at our home no less, equipped with his music library and a list of questions that had not even crossed my mind as important details. Planning a large wedding can be overwhelming, but Matt took responsibility for everything. I knew that our guests would be entertained and comfortable, that our preferences for music would be respected, and that Matt would do everything in his power to make our wedding the most special day of our lives. He went above and beyond and still stays in touch with our family. If we had to do it all over again, Matt would still be our number 1 choice for entertainment!

I usually don't like to rate too high, as it looks almost too predictable and a bit lazy, but when you have someone who puts so much thought into making your special day exactly that, it's hard not to acknowledge it.

Matt's Entertainment is extremely organized and their uniqueness of elevating the ceremony and reception stood out above any other wedding we've been to. Every wedding we've been to since ours we've paid closer attention to their DJ and every time it makes us so happy and fortunate we chose Matt's Entertainment. The level of stress that was lifted away due to their professionalism went a long way.

I couldn't tell you how many people, to this day (was married Feb of 2007) still talk about how fun and special that day was. We couldn't have been happier.

Matt was the epitome of class and professionalism. He helped us with the planning, implementation and aftermath of our wedding. He was full of great ideas and suggestions, had convenient connections with other wedding vendors. We ended up with the wedding of our dreams, thanks to the help and vision of Matt Bixby. Matt was an amazing DJ! During our prewedding meeting, he walked us through all the music and was very patient while we decided on what to play...and not play. Matt was very flexible with our time line and was able to work within our budget. We highly recommend Matt for all future DJ needs!
