I did a makeup trial with Nancy. She was a sweet woman who was very responsive to my email exchange. I did the makeup trial before my wedding shower. I was very disappointment in the quality of the products she used. I thought I communicated I wanted natural makeup that enhanced my beauty. But in the end I had lots of eye liner, very shiny intense eye shadow, and pale cake-y foundation. We made some adjustments during the trial to try to make it work for me, but overall I thought her product line didn't meet my expectations. I went to my wedding shower with the makeup and I looked ok, but a little washed out. When I finally looked in the mirror at the event, the makeup under my eyes looked separated, cake-y and terrible. She was a nice woman and tried to work with me, but it just wasn't a good fit. I would recommend a trial to anyone considering using her.

Nancy is an extremely professional and incredible makeup artist. From the first phone call to the day of my wedding she was there for me every step of the way.

A few weeks before my big day we set up a test trial to make sure that she knew what I wanted my makeup to look like the day of the wedding. She listened to my ideas, was patient, and created a look that was exactly what I pictured.

The day of the wedding she arrived early and worked diligently. My bridesmaids, my mother and I were extremely pleased with her work. Nancy was very understanding to everyone's needs and knew how to work with all skin types and styles. I was so happy that I chose Nancy to be my makeup artist and I know that you will too.

Nancy was a fantastic listener and understood exactly what I wanted. Though I never wear make-up and was somewhat nervous about wearing it, Nancy made me feel incredibly comfortable. Nancy was also prompt, efficient, and helped me to stay calm during the stress of the wedding day. Nancy was fantastic providing makeup for my July 2010 wedding. From the consultation to the moment I left her chair to get into my dress, Nancy was completely professional, accommodating and just did a fantastic job making me look both beautiful and not over-makeupped. She was honest in her assessment of what I needed and able to provide me with feedback and different looks during the consultation so we could get exactly what I wanted for the day of.

Nancy also did makeup for some of my bridesmaids and my mom, and put a little lip gloss on my flower girl as well. She made everyone look like themselves, whether they went for the natural or more dramatic look, and made sure that we got our looks the way WE wanted them, despite the many opinions that often swirl around a wedding situation! She worked great with the two hair stylists we hired and was super flexible fitting into the schedule. And as we counted down and realized that we were running a little behind (no fault of any of my vendors--I became overly calm on my wedding day somehow!), Nancy was able to finish me up perfectly and swiftly. I was in my dress and ready to go right on time.

Nancy arrived on time and well-prepared to beautify my six bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride, mother-of-the-groom and me (the bride!). She took not time setting up and began transforming my girls into divas. All of them looked simply stunning. Classic and natural. We were all pleased.

Looking back I realize that not only did Nancy make me into a gorgeous bride, she really helped to maintain the calm, laid back mood of the day. She had things well under control all day and even managed to pull me from borderline tears (crisis averted) to feeling and looking like a princess. She said so many nice things to me and made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride ever, even while the crisis of the day was being handled in the background.
