Hello fellow brides and those in need of professional makeup artist work!
I can't say enough great things about Makeup By Daisy. I saw her work from several friends of mine that also used her and raved about her and also had to have her do makeup for my wedding as well!

Timing: Daisy was on time to both trials and the day of for the wedding day. She arrived as stated and stuck to her time schedule working tirelessly through all the 5 bridesmaids, the bride (myself) and the 2 moms for the entire morning. She made sure we were ALL happy and in love with our makeup, had touch ups before we left, and worked quickly to work with my day of schedule.

Quality of Service: I can't tell you how much everyone LOVED their makeup and myself included!! Each girl had very different skin, tone, needs and preferences. All my bridesmaids were in love with their makeup and eyelashes of course! The mothers, whom I thought would be the hardest to please, were also very happy with their looks as well. They learned a few things about how to correclty apply makeup and what looks best on them during their session wiht Daisy. For myself being the bride, I had previously one trial with her where we made a few minor adjustments. We took several photos in natural light. I reviewed the pictures later and decided on the changes I wanted to make later on for the wedding. However, I had a lot of trust in her ability and talent to know that she could make the day of work without needing another trial in between. Everyone's makeup stood up all day and night. Keep in mind we started makeup at 9AM and the party ended at 1230 AM~! So there's something to be said about that! She made sure to use waterproof makeup as needed for the tears, and we made adjustments to use my own liners as I know my skin will not hold up for eye pencils that she used. EVerything smudges on me! All in all, everything worked out beautifully for the wedding. I just have to say that all the girls looked beautiful and still looked like themselves without a ton of makeup unless they asked for it. (My sister asked for a bit more of a dramatic eye and brought her own lashes than the others which looked great on her!) Don't forget, if you get false lashes, you get to keep them afterwards! Big plus! And dont forget you'll need additional lipstick/gloss throughout the entire night and eating, photos, etc. I definitely used the q tips she gave me to wipe up any smudging or touchups needed throughout the night.

Profressionalism: Daisy was always professional through all verbal, written communication. Nothing negative to say there!

Flexibility: I always felt like her main goal was to make sure that i was happy and confident with her work. If I asked for a change here n there it was done. We gradually worked up the drama in my eye makeup to the point where I was happy but I decided to change it up the day of and just let her work her magic seamlessly! During the hustle and bustle and craziness in our room as all the ladies got ready, she worked calmly and quickly to make each lady beautiful. She went with the flow to get everyone done even if there were some unexpected changes.

Value: you get what you pay for ladies. This is one thing you learn while picking vendors for the wedding or event. When you pay money you expect to get what you ask/pay for and for it to be worth the money! I got what I paid for and was confident that I would receive no less. She was worth every penny! My face and smile in all my pictures proves this :)

My one suggestion to brides is to get your trial done in daylight so you can see what your face will look liek outside but to also see what your makeup will look like at night as well so go out on the town and see how it holds up throughout the night. Since your makeup will be photographed from day till night. During my trial I got it done in the evening so I had to trust pictures taken in natural light light bulbs which is good but just not the real thing. And make sure to keep touch up items such as qtips, lipstick, gloss, blotting papers, powder and eyelash glue on hand for your bridesmaids to help carry around for you. I think since it was hot/humid and it was a LONG day, some of the girls' eyelash glue started to come undone a bit. But we had extra glue on hand for a quick fix.

All in all, she was a great asset and instrumental in the success of my wedding day. Pictures will capture your day and look forever and you want your FACE to be flawless other than all the million other things captured that day! Makeup by Daisy was one vendor I did NOT need to stress or worry about. I'd happily recommend her to anyone in need of makeup services. :)

Daisy is the best makeup artist ever, hands down! Throughout the entire process, Daisy listened to what I wanted and it was easy for her to understand what I meant when I described the eye shadow colors to her. She really made me look my BEST on my wedding day. She was very accommodating with my trial and wedding day schedule. My bridesmaids also loved her and everyone loved the way they looked. Even one of my bridesmaid who never wanted to wear makeup said she loved how Daisy did her makeup so much, now she wants to start wearing makeup :). Daisy is very personable, and very professional at the same time. Worth every penny!

Daisy is the absolute best! She's an extremely talented make up artist and a person you want to have with you as you are preparing for your wedding as she is great at staying on schedule and is so calming at the same time. Daisy was also extremely patient making sure my make up was just the way I wanted it. She did make up for myself, 6 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law. Everyone had different make up specifications and everyone raved about how beautiful she helped us all to look! Thanks for making our wedding extra beautiful Daisy!

Daisy did an amazing job with the makeup for me, my Mom, bridesmaids, jr bridesmaid and flower girl. She applied the right amount that was needed to look great in pictures and stay on all night. She also gave me some great skincare tips during the makeup trial that helped me prepare for my wedding day. She also did a great job scheduling us so we weren't rushed and on schedule. I would definitely recommedn Daisy!

I hired Daisy to do my makeup, my flower girl's makeup, and two of my friends makeup. I really liked working with Daisy. She was very sweet and knows how to apply makeup that looks natural and not heavy. My friends liked working with her too and were very happy with their makeup application. I especially liked that she offers partial applications. Some of my girls already knew how to apply foundation, etc. or were not willing to pay for a full application.

Daisy was fantastic! I had two disappointing makeup trials with other people and was wondering if anyone could do beautiful, natural makeup. Enter Daisy. She made me look and feel fantastic on the wedding day and even wowed my mom, who doesn't like wearing makeup. She also offers partial makeup so it's very affordable for bridesmaids to afford. In addition to her artistry, she is a delight to work with and is very knowledgable about skincare. Daisy recommended a few skincare products at my trial, which transform my skin by the wedding. I'm so grateful for how I looked and felt at my wedding and how my skin improved after following her advice.

Daisy was kind, professional, and very helpful! She had her makeup down to a science on the day of the wedding. She and her assistant completed all of my "ladies" and myself on time! We didn't have the usual "rush to the limo or church" that many brides experience on wedding day. She helped me feel calm, confident, and beautiful. I would suggest doing a trial with Daisy (or any other beauty consultant) before booking, just to be sure you both are on the same page for your look. Although, if you don't have the time for it, you can trust her to do an amazing job!

Daisy Tran is truly an amazing makeup artist. There are no words to express how an impeccable job she did for me and for my entire bridal party. She really help me achieve a look that was just flawless. She listened and understood my concerns. She was extremely easy to work with and understood Asian skin and facial features. She was flexible and was open to constructive criticism because she genuinely wanted to make sure I was 100% happy with her work. The bridal party had nothing but wonderful things to say about their makeup. She arrived promptly and always made herself available if I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Daisy for your wedding makeup needs. Not only did my makeup stay perfectly for the entire night of my wedding (didn't even need to look in the mirror) but my bridesmaids and mothers looked AMAZING. My sister, who is extremely picky about makeup, was in love with what Daisy did.

At the trial, I really knew everything would go perfectly because Daisy asked a lot of questions, took notes on everything we did, and gave me options!

Daisy was flexible (especially when the girls wanted fake eyelashes on the day of!) and worked great with my hair stylist. It was hot in the room and there wasn't good lighting, but she made it work.

In addition, I think her service options are perfect. Offering just eyes or just face was really what hooked me. It offered my bridesmaids the options to make them most comfortable.

I highly recommend Daisy for people who are looking for a make-up artist that works with your natural features and simultaneously makes sure that you are camera ready. Daisy did my make-up, all of the make-up for my bridesmaids, and my mother's make-up. All of these ladies of varying ages and skin colors loved what she did. In addition to the exceptional quality of her work, Daisy is very responsive and flexible - accomodating last minutes changes with a very flexible and can-do attitude. In addition to all of this, Daisy was an extremely calming presence during what turned out to be one of the most stressful mornings of my life. At my wedding, some of the vendors added to the stress and others diffused stress - Daisy diffused stress more than anyone. I can not say enough positive things about Daisy - nor can my bridesmaids.

I had a great experience with Daisy. My makeup trial went well, and Daisy was flexible and listened to me when there were certain things I wanted changed. I also very much appreciated that she did not have a minimum number of people that had to have makeup done, as I was the only one getting my makeup done - my bridesmaids wanted to do their own. Not many people out there offer this option. Daisy played up my features while still achieving a "natural" look. I truly felt my makeup was absolutely perfect on my wedding day. If you want someone who will work with you and your features for a very reasonable price and is a professional, then look no further than Daisy. She was worth every penny to not have to worry about doing my own makeup.

Daisy is an incredible make up artist! She has a great sense of what makes each individual beautiful. I got so many compliments on how good I looked during my special day and I have to say that all credit goes to Daisy! She managed to not only do my makeup, but also those of my bridesmaids. Everyone of the girls loved how they looked which is not an easy thing to do as several of them weren't used to wearing makeup and each also had their own style. Daisy did all the make up in a very timely fashion and it held up all through the night. She uses the right blend of colors that is perfect for both pictures as well as looking good in person. The makeup products she uses is also of high quality! I am so fortunate to have had such a great makeup artist and I am sure it will show even more in the pictures. If you are in the MD/VA/DC area and you want to look fabulous, there's no other makeup artist you should turn to besides Makeup by Daisy!

Daisy did a great job with my makeup as well as my mother's and one other bridesmaid. I looked beautiful if I say so myself. It rained all day on our wedding and the curls in my hair didn't last long but my makeup certainly did.

She just got married recently and understands that as a bride you want everything to be perfect. She understands how to make you look your best with out being overdone. Best of all you won't break the bank having your makeup done.

Daisy is a wonderful and talented make-up artist. She is very good with her make-up and knows exactly what she's doing. She knows what looks good on people depending on the type of eyes and facial structure you have and she explains this. She knows how to make you look your best (I've seen her do make-up for other girls as well), but at the same time, she always considers your opinions. For my wedding, she made sure I looked good and feel beautiful but also made sure I was happy with how I looked. I felt very comfortable telling her what I wanted and she understood exactly what I wanted. She also worked with my schedule and was very accommodating! Thanks to Daisy, I looked my best on my wedding day!! I love how my make-up looks in my photos! :)

Daisy is wonderful. I don't usually wear any makeup, so other than telling her I wanted to look like myself while looking good in photos and in person, I couldn't give her very much guidance. She agreed to do the trial at my friend's house so I could have some outside input. Throughout the trial while she was applying my makeup Daisy explained to my friend her makeup choices and gave my friend lots of makeup tips. Once we found the right look my friend took photos and Daisy wrote down in detail everything she had used on me so that she would be able to re-create the look for my wedding.

After the trial Daisy emailed me links to the specific products she needed me to buy, such as blotting paper and lipstick, so that I could retouch throughout the reception. Since I know nothing about makeup I really appreciated her emailing me these links because that made the buying process stress-free. No need for me to go to a store and try to decide between different brands, shades etc.

On my wedding day Daisy arrived right on time and was cheerful, calming and efficient. She got right to work applying my makeup and it looked wonderful. She worked very well with our wedding coordinator, photographers and officiant. She had a few extra minutes so even put some light makeup on my Matron of Honor. Many of our guests complimented me on my makeup. Even my Dad, who hardly ever notices what I'm wearing or how I look, told me that my makeup looked great. Daisy is wonderful and I am so glad that she was available to help me at my wedding.

Daisy was absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend her services. She was friendly, sweet, responsive, affordable, flexible and very professional. She made me and my bridesmaids look beautiful. She knew exactly what would make us look our very best, but at the same, the makeup was light and had a very natural look. The makeup also stayed on the whole day, the only thing I had to reapply was my lipstick. Daisy was also very punctual - she was right on time early on the morning of my wedding day; she was there earlier than me since my hair appointment went on longer than I expected. She did an amazing job and I had so many compliments on how beautiful I was, and it's all thanks to Daisy!
