I did not research extensively for a florist because I have seen Mai's Garden's work and I absolutely love it! They provided flower décor for both of my friends' weddings and they both were very satisfied. For starters, the owner, Mai, is nice, patient, professional, responsible and flexible. I couldn't decide what centerpiece and flower décor I wanted for the church. I kept on going back and forth between different ideas. Mai patiently understood that it was an important day for me, so she recommended different ideas and gave me time to decide.

Mai recognized that I had a tight budget, so she worked around my budget to provide me a stunning flower décor within my budget. She even provided free delivery. ; )

I remembered the first time I saw my bouquet; I was speechless! It was beyond my expectation: elegant, classic and stylist. Even though it was simply ivory roses with fuchsia calla lilies, Mai’s arrangement brought forth a stunning bouquet reflecting everything I had hoped for.

I was very particular with what and how I wanted the flower décor to be and she passed my expectation with flying colors.

For my wedding, I asked Mai to provide the flower and help me co-coordinate my wedding. My theme was of a "Western/Asian" theme - we wanted to take aspects of different culture and mix it into our wedding. I am very paritcular in my taste in things and I also do event coordination for non-profits - so you know that i don't let things slide. Even though I only asked Mai to do our flowers, she took the extra time to ask us about our decoration and really working with us on our budget. She made sure that the colors match and the theme was well maintained. The colors and theme even was tailored toward's my wife's personality. WOW! Talk about a uniform theme...

Anyhow, everything was perfectly executed on time! The day was flawless! My wife (fiance) and I had no worries, the day just flowed. Even though I am pretty organized, she pointed out things and help us develop a schedule to take the load off the timing and stress.

If you are looking for someone who knows how to tailor a wedding toward your taste - she is the one. She is flexible and is willing to go the extra mile. Let me tell you, the most important things about wedding is that you enjoy them. The good feeling will last much longer than anything else...

Mai coordinated my wedding all the way from San Jose, CA when the wedding was in San Diego, CA. She did a lot of research to find the best vendors in the San Diego area. I cannot express how appreciative my husband and I were of her hard work in finding the perfect vendors for us! She also did a wonderful job coordinating the wedding and hired a wonderful co-coordinator to help out on our special day. Everything went so smooth, even though I was a half hour late for the ceremony! I would recommend Mai to any bride and groom no matter how big or small their needs are.
