I called on the Monday before my wedding on a Saturday. This was also the week of Thanksgiving. It took a miracle and this great staff to make my wedding possible. It was a perfect day and I couldn't have asked for friendlier, better or faster service.

Courtney and Jennifer truly know how to make your wedding a magical affair! They thought of every single detail, and made sure that our wedding was fabulous. Their recommendations on vendors were right on target for the wedding we envisioned. They are warm and welcoming, yet so professional. It was like working with family members who knew what we needed every step of the way.

The communication and service was outstanding from start to finish, and I always knew that I could count on them to "get-it-done" and had no worries in any task that was in A Magical Affair's capable hands. Even in the final days, when we had some last minute drama, Courtney stepped in and not only did her job but picked up the slack for other vendors and made sure that the event happened as planned. My planning was nothing short of stressful and the day-of was close to disastrous, but I had no idea because of Courtney and her team with A Magical Affair. They took care of everything without worrying me about a thing! They are amazing and pulled off an amazing day for my husband and me! I literally cannot thank them enough!

Courtney was a delight to work with. She made my daughters wedding the best day of her life. Courtney made certain everything went off without a flaw!!! Tabitha's wedding date was actually on 6/28/08 at Gaylord Opryland, Nashville, TN. Courtney stepped in towards the end of my planning process because I was clueless and running out of time. She did a great job getting everything done ridiculously fast. On my wedding day her assistant was there, but Courtney could not make it. It seemed like a million things went wrong, but I was the only one that noticed. Everyone thought my wedding was amazing, and it definitely wouldn't have been without Courtney's great planning skills.

I was a very low key bride and didn't need much assistance or help with anything...or so I thought! A Magical Affair was provided to me by the Opryland Hotel,which is where I got married. The Monday after I got married, I called Courtney and told her how grateful I was to her and her staff. I really don't know what I would have done without them. They took care of all the set-up at the ceremony and the reception...from setting up my candy buffet (they provided everything except the candy) to getting my first drink and something to eat during the cocktail hour, they were there for me and ready to do whatever I asked of them with a smile on their face. Speaking of face, when my husband decided to smash cake in my face during the cake cutting, they were right there with a moist, warm towel. OMG! I loved them!!! Thank you girls for everything. You were the best!!!!

A Magical Affair was wonderful for my wedding at Opryland Hotel in Nasvhille. It is a busy place with lots going on and it was nice knowing there was someone behind the scenes remembering the stuff I could not! The wedding went perfectly with A Magical Affair in charge! They were quick to respond to my requests no matter what it was, moving tables, or chairs, helping decorate, etc. I would recommend this service for any occasion!! Courtney was AMAZING!!!! She worked with what we had and was always there when we needed her. She helped bring our dream to life and really helped keep me sane :)

I always knew that I would hire a wedding planner. I saw at other weddings, and have seen since, what happens when you don't have someone looking out for you on your wedding day. It was my goal to have our family be our family on our wedding day, and not coordinate our wedding. And that is exactly what happened.

Three weeks prior to my wedding, our venue was flooded out. Only three days after the flood, we were placed with a new venue and had a meeting set up at the new location. Courtney and her crew then called every single one of my guests and notified them of the change. She also accompanied me to meetings with other new vendors that were now necessary.

Also, I am a DIY bride. I decided to refinish a door (yes, an actual door) to paint and put behind my husband and I on the altar with hanging lights. Then, on the suggestion of Courtney, they took the door to our reception where all our guests signed it. It's currently in our living room in our home and I love looking at it.

On the day of, everything went really well. If something did go wrong, then I didn't know it. The pace of the reception was wonderful and we had a TON of people stay until the very end. I am very pleased.

A magical affair was great with the wedding itself. The day went off without a hitch and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. They were really amazing! However, I felt it was hard to get in touch with them, ESPECIALLY after the wedding. I had some questions about the to the left over alcohol from the reception and where it all went. I have e-mailed them at least 3 times, called and left messages, and stopped by their office. I still have not gotten a reply.

The rehersal and the wedding went off great! They did everything they said they would, and a little more! My biggest complaint would be that they were very very hard to get a hold of on the phone, and I never ever even spoke to Courtney despite leaving her multiple messages. There were a few small things that could have been handled better the day of the event but I think overall they did a great job, and I didn't worry about anything. I was a very easy going bride. But, unlike my other vendors I didn't really feel like they really cared about my wedding but that they were just doing their job.

The outcome was BEAUTIFUL! I may be a little controlling, but who isn't when it comes to their wedding?!? I think A Magical Affair would be great for a bride who is busy and is willing to be hands-off. The planner and her team are SUPER sweet but very busy with other weddings, as well. Honestly, I felt like I was on the back burner until the week of my wedding, and that is a little late to be contacting vendors to tell them exactly what's going on.... I don't want to come across harsh; I am just telling about my experience. My wedding was GORGEOUS, and the day of was perfect---it was just getting to that point that was a struggle.
