I was disapointed with our officiant. He was on time, and did the rehearsal. But he was stuffy and not very friendly with us. He acted to me like we were bothering his time. Not all of the offciants are like this, just dont let marty pick someone for you ask to talk to them and find the one you click with. Ours was picked for us by marty and it was disapointing.

Carol Sage performed our ceremony and it was fantastic. We received tons of compliments (and continue to) for what a beautiful ceremony it was. I worried a lot about the fact that she didn't know - some of the best ceremonies I have been to are very personal - but you would have thought she did if you didn't know better. She had people laughing and crying - imcluding us!
They were also easy to work with and very responsive during the planning stages.
But one of the best parts ... THE BOOK. Oh my goodness. It was a lifesaver for us. We really didn't want a religious ceremony but still wanted it to be touching and personal. We just cut the book apart and created something that was all our own.

I absolutely loved our minister. He had a sense of humor and got us through everything with a problem. He really made everyone feel comfortable about everything. I would recommend this service to EVERYONE!!!!

Reverend Marty Younkin is a ceremony genius. He wrote a book that is the comprehensive guide to all the ceremony details from the processional to the recessional. He is warm, friendly and professional, and he tailors the ceremony to your preference.

Marty was charming and professional and put the entire wedding party at ease. He did mess up my name during the ceremony, but I am eastern european, so it's a common problem for people. He met with us as often as we needed and he was very helpful in planning the ceremony.

Marty did such a great job at our Ceremony! The book was such a great help when planning and it turned out exactly what we hoped for. He was very personable and threw in just the right amount of humor. Marty is also great at controlling the crowd during the rehearsal!

The officant was wonderful! He really listened to our wants and desires for the wedding and was there all the way to help us with how the ceremony would proceed. THe day off he was early, and coached each of us, he really made the moment relaxing and stress free. He did a perfect job. My best friend also used them for her wedding, and the service was just as excellent!

Marty was so sweet and a great person to work with during our wedding. He was the utmost professional and did a great job at putting our minds at ease when the big day rolled around. I really liked that we could piece together pieces from the book of vows. We were able to create exactly what we wanted and it turned out great. I still recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant.

If you are looking to get married and not in a church, I recommend Love Notes. If you are not that religious and want someone who will marry you and your fiance with a customary ceremony, Love Notes is the place to go.

We met our officiant on the day of the rehearsal, which was fine. He was very polite and open to our suggestions. The company is a group of ministers. They send you a book and basically you get to write your own wedding ceremony, which we liked.
