User2526138 Sent on 02/03/2016Many guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We had a vegetarian menu and very thing was delicious! They were super professional and very flexible as we booked them two weeks before the wedding! The whole team is super nice and efficient and their experience is very helpful. Nancy helped us with many aspects of the wedding and the result was amazing! They were a bit over our budget but it was all worth it!! -
User1065376 Sent on 01/10/2013nancy and her team were great. They were a bit disorganized during the planning process; budgets, etc. were not delivered when promised. The food though, was amazing. So delicious! Multiple people told us that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Don't let the crazy italian style of management throw you off- the end product is so worth it. -

I was so excited when we first booked Love & Garlic. I had such high expectations for the food and the service we would get. But the process of planning and the actual day of event was less than lack luster. Countless emails were sent on what we wanted and then when we met in person they had not read the emails, which was a waste of my time. The day of the event, the food we ordered was not what we received. First, they ran out of appetizers! After being told multiple times we would not run out. Guests who were not even apart of family photos did not receive any appetizers. This is unacceptable! Next the salad, pasta, and veggies were wrong. Either they were missing things, or they were the completely wrong food. Half of my guests received hot food, the other half received barely warm food. Servers continued to bother my groom and I about the itinerary during our reception, even though they had been provided an itinerary and could have talked to anyone in the wedding party or our parents. For what we paid for, I am extremely disappointed in Love and Garlic. Thankfully my guests still walked away with a full belly. But for the amount of stress my groom and I went through, I just cannot recommend them. -

User3130994 Sent on 07/14/2017I'm from the area but currently live in Texas. My wedding will be in the area & that being said my mom has been helping me plan my wedding. My mother had been in contact with them for a few months for my wedding, but nothing could be set in stone until I tasted their food which wouldn't be until I could fly out in June. So in June, I tasted the food with my mother, my future mother in law (whom only speaks Spanish), & my little sister. The food was execellent but I did decide I wanted to go with just appetizers. They did email the numbers for the appetizers but we did need to do some number adjusting on our end. Next thing I know, my mother gets a call from them saying that they booked some other wedding, the same date as mine, that is going to be out of town & had chosen a lot more than just appetizers & that because they had put their deposit down first, they couldn't do my wedding any more! It would have been nice to have been given the common courtesy to know that another party had been looking at the same date as me. We had already told other caterers no because we were going to book with them. Not to mention I had flown out from Texas for this. Other vendors had given us the courtesy of letting us know if they were talking to another party for the same date as my wedding. I really do think they went with the other party w/o letting us know because that meant a bigger check for them. I know business is business & everybody wants to make their $$ but a major key in business is building relationships! I would think they would know better for a business that has been in the industry for so long. But anyways, they left a bitter taste in my mouth after my experience. You can bet that we won't bother using them for my future sister in laws wedding next year, since her wedding will be small & the check won't be big enough for them! So you better make sure you have your check books out & ready if you decide to go with them other wise it's on to the next for them!
