They are snobs, but they have amazing things.

Beautiful gowns, excellent facility. I bought my bridesmaid dresses there, and they were beautiful, but like others said, "a little snobby." I thought maybe it was because I didn't get my dress there. That being said, I am more than pleased with the dresses chosen, and they came in on time, and just what I ordered.

My bridal consultant was Leslie, and she was so fun and attentive! I think I tried on 1,000 gowns before I made a choice. The dress I picked was actually one Leslie pulled from the back for me, and it was perfect! Of course, Louise Blum is more expensive, but you are paying for the quality of the dresses. Leslie also told me when all the trunk shows were, so you can have the chance to buy it on sale. Just be prepared to order your dress with plenty of time to spare. I ordered mine in September, and it arrived in January for my May wedding. I had plenty of time, but just dont wait til the last minute! I loved working with Leslie and the Louise Blum staff. Just make sure you have an appointment :)

Ask for Leslie. She is outgoing and friendly and we loved her. She pulled "the dress" for daughter. It was exactly what she didn't know she wanted. The compliments were wonderful, the dress was gorgeous and fit my daughter's personality and wedding to a T.

Finding my dress was a miracle of God, the price was better than okay even though it was a coutoure gown, but the service is kind of snobby.

I wasn't even looking for my dress when we visited Louise Blum, but I found it. My bridal consultant, Leslie, was incredibly helpful and always interested and engaging. She made the experience that much better. I also arranged to have my bridesmaid dresses with Louise Blum, and had no complaints with regards to the service or timeliness. They definitely excel in all areas.

I purchased my wedding gown at Louis Blum. My bridal consultant was Elizabeth and she was fabulous. So kind, very sensitive of my budget, and never ever pushy. Just a caveat - If you are on a tight budget, you won't find anything less than $3000. For me though - the dress was the most important part so I was willing to splurge! After your dress arrives, they take great care to keep it safe, clean and ready to go on your wedding day. I bought a lace and silk chiffon gown from Christos and I loved it!

I loved my dress but this shop wasn't exactly easy to work with on getting my alterations done or getting my dress to the church. I bought the dress 10 months in advance, and they didn't tell me until the month of my wedding that we had to book a time to drop it off at the church. There were no times left for my wedding day so we almost had to get my friend to go pick it up in her SUV. Finally after enough fighting with the manager, they were willing to find a time they could drop it off, very annoying though as we had to ask someone at the church to be there when they weren't even open before my ceremony. For the amount of money we spent there, we got the same service you might find at David's Bridal. They have a great selection of shoes though - but for the most part they won't have your size, you'll have to pay for them and THEN order them.

The staff was great. They were extremely patient, especially the seamstresses, who had to take yards of fabric out of the gown to fit my slim daughter. She had fitting after fitting, and worked with her tirelessly. And the precious lady who sewed over 500 crystals all over the gown by hand. She was a true professional! When my daughter would get discouraged, or seem to be near tears because things weren't going as easily as she had hoped, the seamstresses calmed her down, assuring her they would have her gown just exactly as she wanted it and that her husband would LOVE it when the doors opened and she began walking down the aisle at their wedding. AND THEY WERE RIGHT! She was invited to come to the store when her gown designer, Lazaro, was in Houston, and that was very special. The staff definitely went out of their way to offer that opportunity to my daughter. What a thrill to meet him in person and to hear his opinions about the gown and the ways she could work with the sash, the bustle, etc. THANK YOU FROM A GRATEFUL MOTHER!

I bought my wedding dress and brides maids dresses from this wonderful boutique. From the moment I waked in I was graciously welcomed and treated like a princess. I was surrounded by beautiful designer and couture gowns, but not overwhelmed by the monotany of wedding dress shopping. The dress I wanted to try on, they shipped it in from the designer in New York just so I could try it on. Such great service!

I had a wonderful experience at Louise Blum! Mary, my consultant, was a dream to work with!

Pro: I loved the lady I worked with and I loved my dress

Con: Everyone else including the alteration lady was very rude and snoby. The staff acts like they are better than everyone else. When spending $10000 on a dress, I would expect much better service!

I was extremely disappointed in this place. My mother is a former bridal consultant for a high end boutique in the Austin area, so she know what goes into finding a wedding dress. I had my dress picked out before I ever even gotten engaged, due to the nature of my mother's employment. I always saw dresses! So when it came time to get married, it was a no brainer. However, Louise Blum made my dress experience a nightmare. I ordered a Reem Acra gown called Rich, which can come in either white with silver detail or cream with gold. I got white with silver threading and detail. There is a veil that is made to match the dress that I also ordered. When I got my veil from them, it did not match. Yes, it had the same detail, but it was most definitely cream, and from the looks of it, it was a used sample that they were trying to sell to me as new. It had picks all over it, it looked dirty and wrinkled, and it was overall truly unacceptable. I normally am not picky at all, but I really don't appreciate someone trying to sell me used goods in a supposed high-end boutique. I would NEVER recommend them.
