We used Mike and Kim Lotz for both our engagement pictures and for our wedding. They are both so friendly and personable, they made us feel very comfortable, like we had known them for years. Mike worked with us to schedule two separate shootings for our engagement pictures because something came up and we had to do a second meeting. He was super flexible and worked around our schedule and what we needed. They were good about contacting us before the wedding to plan the specific pictures we wanted and the timeline of the day. Mike had awesome suggestions on things and took the time to discuss different options and ideas on how to do things before the ceremony, after, etc... The day of the wedding, Mike and Kim kept everything on track and on time, I literally didn’t have a single worry because I knew they would take care of it. This all in addition to their work, which speaks for itself. We had SO many compliments on not only our pictures but the way they communicated with guests and the wedding party while shooting. They were so professional and accommodating. They did so well with the kids in our wedding too! They have a way of getting them to look at the camera, laugh and smile, but not be scared to death. You won’t be disappointed with Mike and Kim. If my husband and I ever have kids, we’ll be contacting Mike and Kim for any family pictures! I’d recommend them to anyone, they’re AMAZING.
Lotz Studios recently photographed my wedding and did a fantastic job!!! I could not be happier with the photos. Mike Lotz was so nice and so much fun to work with - flexible, energetic, willing to do whatever it took to get a great photo (i.e. - lying on the ground in the snow!!) I highly recommend Lotz Studios to any bride -- you will NOT be disappointed!
Lotz Studios came highly recommend to us for wedding photos. After viewing the website, I felt they were out of our budget. Yet, I was able to meet with Jared who helped customize a wedding package that fit our needs and budget! Jared was easy to work with and very professional. He captured many memorable moments in a very artistic, stunning way! We can't wait to see the rest of our wedding pictures! We also highly recommend Jared and Lotz Studios.
Amazing crew at Lotz Studios! They are very laid back and so easy to work with. Totally willing to make sure you get what you want and the quality is great! They really have a fantastic eye and their photos are so unique-- they really stand out amongst the other vendors. Highly recommend!
Mike and Kim were amazing! We had a very tight time schedule, and they got all of the shots in so that we could enjoy our day. They are extremely responsive, easy to work with, and I love their photos! I would highly recommend them to anyone - definitely worth the investment!
Lotz studios was great to work with. We had Jared take our pictures and he was so much fun to work with during the day. I am so excited to see the pictures when they are done!
Awful. Jared was our photographer. He was very nice at the initial meeting. However, everything changed once contract was signed. We had an extra photographer at the wedding but all of our pictures are from the same angle so I do not think the extra photographer did anything at all. After the reception, Jared told us it would be four weeks for the pictures to be ready. Seven months later we finally received everything. He was terrible at returning calls and emails. Please do not use this studio. You are throwing your money away.

I was lied to, mislead, and taken advantage of because I didn't find out until after he was let go that he was not signing clients on as Jared Williamson....but Lotz Studios. If you look at the reviews you can see that anyone Kim and I serviced had no issues whatsoever....as your experience should have been. I would love to help you however I can and have helped anyone that has contacted me to get what they need from Jared. Unfortunately Jared has his own contracts and I do not have access to your information.....we were supposed to be 2 separate businesses. I'm now in a bad spot because he did business as Lotz. It is a possible criminal lawsuit, but I have been told by lawyers that would be unproductive in regards to Jared's remaining clients getting product. Love Mike and his team!!! Could not have asked for a better photographer to capture moments during our wedding and reception. Mike is great to work with and has a wonderful eye. We love our photos!!!!
Mike and Kim were so great, fun and easy to work with. All of our pictures came out crisp and clear and they did an amazing job capturing the emotion of our day. I’m very glad we had 2 photographers. Kim was able to position everyone while Mike was snapping photos which moved things along. They learned the names of all of our bridal party and family which was a nice touch. They also set up a slideshow at the reception with some of the pictures taken from the day which our guests LOVED! When making the decision for our photographer, we looked at the blogs of our top choices. We went with Lotz because they did an amazing job with every couple they shot, not just the couples that they chose for their website.
Mike and Kim were absolutely AMAZING!! They made everyone comfortable and did a outstanding job at making our uncooperative 3 year old smile with their funny bunny attacking Mike act... it really got us all naturally smiling! They are just SO great (really)!!!! My husband and I wanted the best when renewing our wedding vows... and that is exactly what we got... THE BEST!!!
Kim and Mike are absolutely wonderful, and Lotz is easily the best vendor I worked with planning my September wedding. Photography was one of the most important aspects of the wedding to me, so budget was not a major concern, but I found Lotz to be well worth the money, but also very competitively priced compared to other photographers in the area. I would certainly recommend them to anyone!
Great pictures but awful office skills. I had to hound down all of my pictures and still waiting for my album that I have been trying to get for over a year now. Everything I wanted I had to ask for at least 8 to 10 times before I got it and I'm still waiting and I've been married for over 2 1/2 years now.

Kim and Mike are absolutely unbelievable wedding photographers!!!! The photos they took at our wedding have left us, and our families, completely speechless. Their work is undoubtedly the best memory and keepsake we could ask for. Their photography is classic, artistic, original and timeless, and they have an unmatched ability to capture emotions and people so that you will always remember your unforgettable day. They have a keen eye for detail and will have many photos that capture the special details of your day. Their whole team is personable and down to earth, making photo shoots fun and memorable. Their prices are unbeatable! I hope we can use them to continue to capture the memories of our new family in the future.
Mike and Kim Lotz are AMAZING photographers. We knew the wedding shots would be great after we saw the proofs of our engagement shoot, which were adorable. But the wedding day pictures looked even better! Our pictures are beautiful and I feel like they really captured the entire day - not just with wonderful traditional posed shots, but with great expressions and action shots that really show off everyone's personalities. But it wasn't just about the awesome photos. We honestly enjoyed working with Mike and Kim. They are so much fun! My bridesmaids were so impressed that Kim had learned the name of every person in our bridal party by the ceremony so it wasn't like "Okay, uh tall girl" or "hey blondie." And Mike is so outgoing that he made everyone feel at ease. They took a real interest in our family, our day, and wanted to make sure every piece that we wanted to cover was taken care of. We were even able to share some of the photos from the day with our guests at the reception because Mike put a quick slideshow together that we played on a screen for everyone to see as they were dancing. It was wonderful! We used one of their "unlimited time" packages, which is a little pricey, but when we thought about how we would have the photographs for the rest of our lives, it seemed worth a little extra now. So many of my engaged friends have asked for their contact info already, and my sister has also decided to book them for her wedding next year! Needless to say, I'd highly reccomend them to anyone!
We worked with Mike Lotz for our engagement shoot and our wedding day. All I can say is wow, this guy is talented! When my husband and I met with Mike I felt at ease right away. He is very laid back, but knows how to get the job done. He had a great eye and knows how to make sure you look good in your photos. We receive so many complements on his photos. He is one of the nicest vendors I have ever dealt with. I will use Lotz studios in the future as well when we decide to start a family, and have family photos. Their prices are very reasonable and has a package for every budget possible. With Mike's laid back attitude it helped so much. I say this because as a bride you get stressed about...everything....I never stressed about anything with the photographer. He was wonderful, and I can't stop giving him all the praise in the world!
