Our wedding package at the Radisson came with a cake from Lochel's. They were very accomodating in switching to cupcakes - even french toast cupcakes! We went to the bakery about six weeks before the wedding and had a wonderful time trying the cupcakes. My husband has a dairy allergy and they were able to make a cake for us to cut into that he could eat :) I would recommend them without reserve. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I had many comments at the wedding and afterwards about the groom/birthday cake and about the wedding cake itself. I was able to bring home a couple of pieces of the almond pound wedding cake. It was DELICIOUS!!!!

Kathleen was wonderful! She was very accommodating, especially since we did cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. She was very responsive even with having had her baby @ the end of August & our wedding was in October.

We ordered decorated cookies with the Love Park statue on them. Kathleen was so easy to work with and she always got right back to me with answers to all my questions. They looked exactly like I wanted them to and they even tied my favor tags on. That was a huge relief it gave me one less thing to worry about doing. They tasted awesome too! I was thrilled with how they came out.

The cake looked fabulous! They did an excellent job. It was prefect and oh-so-delicious. I cannot wait until my one year anniversary to have some more! Great to work with and very open to discussing ideas.

Lochel's wedding cake is delicious!!! Not to mention beautiful! My wedding venue, Spring Mill Manor, has a relationship with Lochel's so that the cake is built into the per-person cost. Sure you can upgrade the style of the cake, but there are so many beautiful options included in this price that we didn't need to! We chose the marble pound cake and people were complimenting it all night saying that it's the best wedding cake they've ever tasted! And that cake was competing with an amazing dessert buffet from Spring Mill! I hadn't heard of Lochel's before this, but I will certainly be back to get cakes for other special occassions!

Lochel's did an amazing job with my groom's cake as well as my wedding cake. I found a picture of a cake in the shape of a baseball hat on the internet, and Lochel's recreated it for me as an authentic looking Phillies hat. It looked spectacular and tasted absolutely delicious! I received so many compliments. Our wedding cake was not only beautiful, but also tasted delicious. I would recommend Lochel's to anyone and everyone. I know I will be getting all my future cakes through this bakery. We also get a FREE one year anniversary cake! How great is that! Couldn't be happier than my choice to go with Lochel's for my wedding!

This bakery was working with our wedding reception (Radisson Northeast Philadelphia), so our cake came with our reception package. I did not expect that much, because wedding cakes are most of the time too sweet.

So, when it came time for my fiance and I to go to the bakery to pick out a cake and have our tasting we were floored with how many choices we got and the unbelievable cake. Seriously the best cake I have ever eaten. They were very flexible and willing to do anything. We were able to go through two 3 inch binders filled with different options. There were so many choices. It was pleasantly unexpected!!

During our tasting we were able to choose 4 flavors and they were all delicious. We had eventually decided on the Lemon with alternating layers of Almond Raspberry. Our guests were swooning over this cake.

Before we left our tasting we decided to purchase some pastries, and they were amazing. Such a wonderful little bakery making magic happen!

LOVE Lochel's!! They were amazing. I really wanted a green cake and Kathleen was amazing, working with her decorating team to match the green of the icing with the green of our invitation! Our guests thought that our cake not only looked pretty but, most important, tasted great!

The team at Lochel's also made a fantastic lacrosse bag groom's cake for my husband. It looked amazing!

Lochels was amazing to work with! our cake was stunning and we had numerous compliments on how delicious it tasted. The staff kindly made me a gluten free cake in addition to our regular wedding cake. it was delicious as well! Also, they will make us a cake on our first anniversary so we dont have to eat year-old cake. Friendly, talented, delicious cake - Lochels has it all!!!!!!!!!!

Our cake was included in our catering package so we didn't have to pay a thing. I thought that would give us limited options but we had many to choose from. The owner sat down with us with 2 binders and went over the layout and how to read each page. Each page was descriptive and had pictures and was clearly marked and priced if upgrades were available. She left us alone to look over the option without hounding us. She even included my vintage buttons incorporated into my place cards. Plus the cake was yummy, we had almond pound.

We got our wedding came from lochels and it was delicious! The cake was beautiful And tasted great! They have so many great flavors to choose from!

Kathleen and her staff were wonderful to work with. While I really liked the wedding cake designs available in the bakery's idea books, I fell in love with a design that I found in a magazine. I sent pictures to Kathleen and she was more than willing to replicate the design for our cake. It turned out perfectly. We couln't have asked for a more beautiful (and fabulous-tasting) cake.
