    Liz was my daughter's wedding planner and she was wonderful! She made everything perfect for her wedding day. Her suggestions in our planning meetings were very helpful but never pushy! The day of the wedding was so stress-free because she took care of everything at the venue before and after the wedding. Her personality made her so easy to talk to and deal with in every aspect. I highly recommend her services.

    Liz Ann and her staff were wonderful! She made sure my wedding was a dream come true! She's very professional and affordable and easy to work with. I couldn't have done it without her!

    I used Liz Ann for day of/month of coordination for my wedding on 3/20/16. Getting in contact with Liz Ann was a little difficult before the month of. I emailed her and she did not respond for well over a month. She did not complete the day of timeline as quickly as she said. These few things that she did not do perfectly before the wedding she definitely made up for on the day of the wedding! Liz Ann set up my decor exactly how I wanted it and if it wasn't for our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was! I would definitely recommend her to other brides! If you choose her just know not to stress out if she doesn't respond to your emails right away because she will pull through and make your wedding day absolutely perfect!

    She seemed distracted during the month before and it made us concerned, but there was no turning back at this point. I asked for suggestions and instead of serving as a resource she suggested that we ask other parties. She promised an assistant to help her during the wedding, but the day of she showed up with no assistant (although one was mentioned in the contract and she continuously mentioned one during our meetings). Myself along with my bridal party assisted with setup, but by the end of the evening we were worn out and so was she. Although setup and cleanup was her sole responsibility along with making sure vendor communication and timing went well that day, she was ordering the wedding party to assist with cleanup, move furniture back in place, and providing reminders that if WE didn't cleanup WE would lose the deposit. Overall, if you are an extremely detail oriented bride, her attention to detail will not meet your requirements or the contract that you signed.

    We hired Liz for day of coordinating. I received the timeline that was suppose to be ready a week prior to the wedding the day before the wedding after numerous attempts of trying to obtain it. Her excuse was "sent it to the wrong email" though I only used one email to correspond with her. Also my vendors didn't receive the timeline in the appropriate amount of time.
    Liz came by Thursday before the wedding to pick up my wedding decor. She arrived unprepared and didn't unload her car so she could only take two boxes with her. We had to schedule for her to come by again on rehearsal day that was already jam packed with appointments. Upon her coming by again she notified me I must take all my vases to my florist. If she was organized she would of let me know days/week before the wedding that this was a must instead of the day before the wedding. My florist was 45 mins from my house.
    My reception only allowed a TWO hour window for set up which I made her aware on several occasions so she could bring the appropriate amount of help. My window drapes were not hung up and was told my tension rods would not hold the curtains though she could hang up one above the door to the deck. This doesn't make sense! Reality is she only brought one helping hand and ran out of time. Very disappointing as the drapes would of made an incredible impact. My cake stand was not used, she "lost" my cake topper and then found it after having to ask her about it at the reception. This was a heirloom so I wasn't too happy. My wedding pictures do not have the cake topper in the them. I rented table cloths that were not used on the appropriate tables. Also, there was a no open flame policy that she broke by lighting all the candlesticks. After the wedding I was going through all my wedding things and noticed not all my things were returned and some things were damaged.

    I do not recommend Liz Ann unless you want more stress added on to your planning journey/wedding day.

    My wedding was 11.07.15. I used Liz Ann as my wedding planner through a contest on her page. At first, everything was fine, no major issues. When we got closer to the day and more needed to be done I would ask for a list or something to reassure me I had everything done. All she could ever send me, even from the beginning were page from theknot.com. Never had any of her own material, I could've gotten that myself. She also let me know she was doing "too much" and had other things going on in her life. Uhh, I hired you to plan and you can't do that? I had almost every vendor picked out myself before I even came in contact with her...there was certainly no above and beyond happening on her end. She constantly talked poorly about my other vendors and when things went wrong or were confusing she immediately threw them under the bus when SHE was the wedding planner and SHE was the one to make things right. I lost $350.00 from a BOOTLEG lighting guy that SHE suggested and assured me was professional who never did his job and ended up threatening me!!! My poor parents and friends were absolutely MORTIFIED at how unprofessional she was at my rehearsal and wedding. We did everything ourselves and had to get our vendors to help us out. The day of, we picked when we did the cake cutting, started buffet & did our send off (which is what we hired her for) She was nowhere to be found. She brought a woman with her who was unfortunately NOT dresses appropriately for a formal wedding or any event for that matter whatsoever. She ended up being in half of our pictures...SO DISAPPOINTING!!!! Needless to say, it was a complete waste of our money in so many ways. Looking back, having this "company" involved is my only wedding regret. I would NOT recommend using her!!!!

    I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our services. When we first started the planning process with you & your fiance, Liz Ann Weddings & Events was hired as your day-of wedding coordinator. Space planning, rental placement and/or movement, vendor recommendations and partial planning are not included per the service descriptions on our website and our contract with you reflects that as well. Each of those features are are an add-on service for coordination clients.

    As your planning progressed, however, I could see that you were struggling in those areas. Instead of charging you, I decided to "pay it forward" and help you have the wedding of your dreams. We began recommending vendors that we have worked with in the past that would be a good fit for your celebration and your budget as well as help you with suggestions and tasks along the way to help you. The lighting vendor we recommended has done stellar work for us in the past and why we recommended him to you and your budget concerns for this addition. We apologize deeply if we didn't meet your expectations but our also deeply sad that we helped you meet your budget needs for a Day Of Coordinator and even decided to help you further into the planning process for no additional charge. We hold ourselves high on our integrity and helping brides throughout the wedding community.
