Our daughter's wedding at Lighthouse Sound was incredible. So many guests said it was the nicest wedding they had ever attended -- and that the food was spectacular. Needless to say, the view and scenery of the OC skyline are breath-taking; the entire staff was so helpful -- not to mention the excellent talent, attitude and helpfulness that Olya possesses. She is such an asset when planning a wedding -- or any event for that matter! We could not have imagined the task without her. We highly recommend Lighthouse Sound to anyone and everyone planning a social event down by the sea!

We had the most amazing wedding at Lighthouse Sound. Olya was fantastic. All of our guests raved about the food, location, and set up of the reception. This is a professional, organized business that made Matt and I feel as if we were their only clients.

Everything was perfect!!! Olya did a great job, and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding ceremony and reception location. The food was wonderful!!! One tid bit of advice:A lot of cake was ruined by having it delivered to the guests' seats, I would ask to have the cake cut and left on the serving table. Thank you Lighthouse Sound!

We just can't say enough about Lighthouse Sound. The staff was exceptional in their courtesy to our guests, the venue itself is just beautiful and the view from the main room is just gorgeous, and the food was simply amazing (we're still getting compliments). With just a few short meetings, we were able to make the arrangements with the event coordinator, Olya, who then managed the details of the wedding flawlessly. She went out of her way to make sure everyone was satisfied with the day’s events. Although we had been planning on having our ceremony outside, the weather that day was not cooperative. So Olya and her staff were able to accommodate us inside and then quickly convert the room back to our dining room for dinner. There was little stress on my part on the day of. The waitress that helped my husband and I was fantastic. Robin not only helped my bridesmaids and I when we arrived and made sure we had food and drinks, she also made sure that when my husband and I were getting pictures, we got a chance to taste the hors d’oeuvres that we had picked out. We were thrilled with everything and would highly recommend Lighthouse Sound for a wedding or any gathering.

Every aspect of Lighthouse Sound from the wait staff and their wonderful event coordinator to the food, to the atmosphere inside the venue and the amazing views outside was all beyond perfection! People are still complimenting us on our wedding there! The wait staff was so friendly and warm, they felt more like friends. Our guests never had to ask for anything their timing was so precise. They knew exactly when to come around to refill drinks and accommodate any request that was made. And the entire time they did it with graciousness and warmth. My uncle who had recently had back surgery couldn't get over how comfortable the seats at both the ceremony and reception were, he never felt any pain that entire time. In planning the wedding, Olya was always very sweet and also very easy to talk to. She never made me feel uncomfortable with any of the questions that I had for her. My husband and I are both from Pennsylvania and so we communicated with Olya via email for the most part. Olya was quick to respond to our emails. Working with her made everything so much easier! It was like talking to a family member or friend!! I would highly recommend Lighthouse Sound for any wedding or event. Our experience there was beyond perfection!!!!

Lighthouse Sound was the perfect place for our reception. The venue is on a golf course and overlooks the bay-gorgeous photo opportunities. They were a delight to work with and the food was phenomenal!

Weather problems forced us to change our plans. The staff at Lighthouse Sound created a beautiful wedding site inside, made sure all the guests got into the building dry, and took care of all the details without worrying the bride. They did a wonderful job.

The dining room was not prepared far enough in advance on the day of my wedding. I had an assistant of my own working for me on that day and she told me things were not in place as I requested in a timely fashion. Too much scrambling before to get things set. I had very specific typed instructions on how I wanted the tables set, favors & placecards placed as well as which candles on which tables and various other small details. There were no forks on the cake table, we had to ask more than once for them when were were cutting the cake. I will say however that the waitstaff was execeptional when it came to attentiveness. If I so much as turned my head the severs/bartenders etc. were right there. Very fantastic and much appreciated. The owner painted the venue's dining room the week of our wedding which gave the dining a freshened up appearance. Overall we had a wonderful reception and enjoy going back for dinner and drinks.

My experience at Lighthouse Sound was fantastic! From the moment my husband and I met with the wedding coordinator, we were amazed with the professionalism and quality of service that was provided to us. The wedding coordinator was very attentative to every detail of our wedding before our big day and during the day. Our ceremony was held outside with cocktail on the veranda. I highly recommend that you take advantage of the breathtaking views on the property. The pictures turned out fabulous! In addition, our guests showered us with many spectacular reviews of the food. Some guests even boasted that the crab cakes were the best they ever had! Although the prices are somewhat high, yet competitive, the hors d'oeuvre's, entree and open bar are certainly worth every penny. I highly recommend that you rent the bar area. The rental fee is steep but it saves you from having uninvited guests wandering into the wedding reception. This area serves as a warm and comfortable social area. If you are planning a destination wedding as I did, Lighthouse Sound provides excellent vendor referrals. All in all, you can't go wrong with this beautiful property. We plan to go back every year and celebrate dinner at Lighthouse Sound all over again!

I don't think you should have to pay for the chairs for the ceremony. I think that the chairs should be included in the 300 dollar fee for using the lawn.
