We met with Nikki at Liberty Travel in Frackville, who has since been promoted to another office, but she was great and did a wonderful job helping to plan our honeymoon trip to Ireland. We ran into a problem while we were there - we planning on spending our last night in a castle, and realized 3 days before that it was 2 1/2 hours from the airport we needed to be at by 6 AM the next morning. I e-mailed the Liberty Travel office and was told that I could not cancel the reservations at the castle, even though THEY had made the mistake in booking a castle 2 1/2 hours away - we were told it was about an hour drive to the airport. Liberty Travel called the castle, and said that an employee there stated it was only 1 1/2 hour drive to the Shannon Airport, but we looked on the castle's website and it clearly stated that it was a 2 1/2 hour drive. After having someone back in the states call Nikki, she agreed to give us our money back for the castle so we could book our own accomodations, but it was a shame that it had to come to that. We were in a dire situation in a foreign country and instead of providing a solution for us, they drove us around in circles. The cost was great though. We will be thinking twice before booking with them, and we will SURELY be looking at everything closely instead of trusting a travel agent to book for us.
