Our wedding cake looked beautiful and tasted amazing! Everyone loved it.

Jessica did both our bridal cake and groom's cake. We enjoyed meeting with her to come up with the designs and taste her samples. We really liked the fact that we were able to have alternating layers (red velvet and carrot) for our wedding cake and a custom flavor (vanilla with orange sprinkles) for the groom's cake. Jessica did an excellent job helping us estimate the amount of cake we needed to serve our guests. We got lots of compliments on the both the appearance and the taste of both cakes. We look forward to using her again and recommending her to friends!

We chose to work with Jessica because she would do multiple flavors (we chose Lemon Poppyseed and Chocolate Cherry) and her prices were very reasonable.

First, the good: the cake was SO delicious! My husband and I scarfed down our pieces and then split a second, and then we spent our whole honeymoon talking about how tasty it was and "I wish I'd eaten more of that cake!" It was really, really delicious! I don't think I can overemphasize that.

Secondly, I loved the design of the cake - I thought it was absolutely gorgeous, and Jessica did exactly what I wanted. We had sugar flowers scattered around the tiers, and I loved the look.

The only bad thing, and the reason I have to dock a star - our cake fell over before we even got there! We were lucky that our reception coordinator was there to save the day, and she managed to rescue the top three tiers (although I could tell they were starting to slide, too, when we cut the cake). The bottom tier was taken back to the kitchen, so it was still cut up and eaten by our guests. But I am a little disappointed that our four-tier cake was knocked down to three tiers.

I can't complain too much, though, because our three-tier cake was still gorgeous, and it was so so tasty it's making my mouth water just thinking about it :) I hope I have the opportunity to order more from Jessica soon!

We were very pleased with Jessica's work. The cake was just as delicious at the event as it was in the tasting-- incredibly moist...our guests raved about it. The design was a little different than I was expecting, but it was beautiful, (and actually probably went a little better with the overall wedding decor than what I had envisioned). Possibly because of the heat and the long travel time, the cake had a very slight leaning tower of pisa effect, but it was something only a bride would see-- we got many complements on how beautiful it was. Jessica is very flexible, and was able to easily accommodate the colors and design we wanted. She was extraordinarily easy and pleasant to work with....and her prices just can't be beat.

My initial impression and meeting was good overall, but I was not very pleased with the final product.

The taste of the cake was fine but the design for the cake was completely off. Four days before the wedding, Jessica called me to ask me about the design of the cake and flavors since she lost all communication of what we had discussed. I wanted the cake to be blue and it came out as white. Also, we had asked for it to look like our invitation (color theme of blue and brown) but she had made the cake white on white with blue/brown ribbon on the edges. So aside from the ribbon, the cake looked nothing close to our color theme. The fondant layer was really thick as well.

I found communicating with her very difficult since it took a while for her to respond. All my other vendors had no problems responding via email. We did have less people come to the wedding and she did refund us our money for that.

I had hoped for a better cake after reading all the reviews and it's really unfortunate how our cake turned out. It looked so plain and boring that our photographer really didn't want to take any pictures of it. I guess we got what we paid for since her prices were very reasonable compared to some.

Was a great pleasure working with Jessica. She was very professional and courteous, and provided a delicious and beautiful wedding cake which my guests just raved about. Thank you Jessica, words just can,t express how grateful I am for all you have done. You made my day very special!

We ordered two cakes: the wedding cake and a birthday cake. Jessica was very flexible and lovely to talk to.

I was extremely pleased with Lemon Tulip Cakes! She was extremely professional very responsive and the cake was delicious!! I now know where I'm going to get all of my cakes!! I highly recommend Lemon Tulip Cakes!

The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted better than it looked!

No doubt, the cake that Jessica made for me was both lovely and very tasty (guests raved!) I wanted modern cakes with different heights on one plane and that was exactly what I got - lovely!

However, I requested and paid for 3 different flavors (red velvet, lemon, and vanilla latte/Starbucks cake) and got only red velvet. This was pretty disappointing to discover as the cake was being served. I happily raced back to the kitchen to taste the other flavors before they went out the door to the guests only to learn that it was all red velvet. I had been raving about the cakes for the past two months to guests and was really pushing the fact that I had a few choices of flavor.

I complained to Jessica and she refunded me the cost of the three flavors ($20) which frankly just wasn't the response I was looking for. I don't appreciate that low level of customer service. It was an important day and reimbursing money that I was owed anyway didn't quite cut the cake (pun intended). After a bit more back and forth, she refunded me my tasting fee which I sincerely only wanted out of principle and in the spirit of good customer service.

Again, I'll reiterate that the cake she did provide was very tasty, attractive, and fresh.... but I am more disappointed with her response to the situation. I think a vendor's true test is how they deal with the challenging situations, not the easy ones.

For my daughter's Sweet 16, Lemon Tulip cakes made a beautiful 3 fondant tier cake, one layer dark chocolate, another vanilla and the bottom one lemon cake, delicious! We also wanted cupcakes with zebra printed paper. Both Chocolate and Vanilla cupcakes on two stands on each side of the cake. It was beautiful. Jessica caught the essence of what we wanted. The cupcakes were perfect, just right to eat, they don't fall apart like many other cupcakes. Everyone enjoyed them and loved the lemon cake of all. I will use them again for my daughter's graduation cake.

We were very pleased with the cakes Jessica made for our two separate company events. She was very creative in designing cakes that met our special requests. The cakes were delicious and delivered on time. We will choose Lemon Tulip Cakes for our next event.

I was absolutely thouroughly impressed with Jessica & Lemon Tulip Cakes! This was my first experience with ordering a specialty cake. She truly held my hand and walked me through the entire process of knowing how large of a cake I would need for our guests and how the pricing model worked. The prices Jessica offered were EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE if not much lower what other bakers were quoting me. I provided the exact design my daughter dreamt of and on the day our our event Jessica delivered as promised, ontime, PRECISELY what we asked for. Several guests complimented how delicious the cake was (and believe me....IT WAS YUMMY) and I'm eager to refer Jessica more business. In fact, my friend already has a contract with her for a larger cake than ours for an event in June. Jessica was extremely easy-going, attentive, confident in her work, kind, professional, always prompt to return calls and emails and was overall very pleasant to deal with. Thank you for all of your hard work Jessica! You are truly talented!

Very professional and courteous cake was wonderful and at a great pricing.

I had seen Jessica's work at another wedding, so I knew that it would be a good cake. We went with her because her prices were good and she was more friendly and upbeat than many of the other cake vendors that I talked to, and we loved the cake slices that we got at our cake tasting.

I figured our cake would be fine.

She totally blew me out of the water! Our cake was beautiful - exactly what I had wanted and totally better than I pictured in my head. Even better, it tasted amazing and I've had several people ask me for her contact information.
