Hanssen's Le Bakery was a great choice for my wedding cake. I would definitely recommend them to others. They were easy to meet with, and made me very comfortable at my appointments. As well, they were willing to work with me to make my cake unique, affordable, and memorable. I am not much of a cake person, and absolutely loved the cake that I ate at my wedding. The cake was moist, smooth, soft, and very delectable. The icing was not too rich, but just right, and pulled it all together amazingly. The wedding cake employees I worked with were very flexible, understanding, and helped making my wedding cake choices very non-stressful.

I chose a very simple cake design and Le Bakery made it look not-so-simple. I wasn't very picky, so I picked a general design, provided my colors and some ribbon and the final product was beautiful and delicious!

I really liked Le Bakery's cake and I was very excited to use them for our wedding. They were always very professional, but at many times, VERY overwhelming. Picking out a wedding cake was much more stressful than I had ever imagined and I think the process could have been much more simplified.

I wanted a 4 tier cake and was told that it was not possible due to weight. I had contacted other bakery's in town who said that 4 tiers would be no problem. I also wanted ribbon around the cake and was told by Le Bakery it had to be a certain amount of inches which was almost impossible to find around town. I went to a few different places before I gave up and just handed them ribbon to use. I didn't want flowers on the cake but almost felt pressured to find flowers to add and when I showed up the day before my wedding they said that they had "changed" something about the cake. They made the tiers off set!! It ended up looking beautiful that way but, had I not liked it, I am not sure what they would have done! Also, I asked how big the base of the cake stand would be and I ended up getting the wrong dimensions so that when the cake was delivered, it did not sit on the stand that I had rented.

I talked to one of my girlfriends who got married just one month after me and had been to Trefzgers for her wedding cake. They got a larger 4 tier cake than my 3 tier cake and it was almost $200 cheaper with the same amount of fillings, we both used butter cream and they didn't have to add a sheet cake to feed the rest of their guests (we both had the same amount of guests).

At the end of the day, the cake looked great and tasted even better!!! I just recommend that if you go with Le Bakery, be ready to have an open mind and to be super flexible!

We received a delicious and beautiful wedding cake made to our specifications and delivered to our venue without a worry! I also appreciated when Greg Hanssen stood up for us and refused to leave his beautiful wedding cake at a location that did not have the room properly cooled (for the 100 degree June wedding day) in the hours before the wedding. He simply did not want our amazing wedding cake to melt before our guests even arrived. Our many thanks to him for that. The cake was so delicious, we ended up eating the top tier we had planned to save for the 1 year anniversary the day after the wedding instead! We simply couldn't wait!

Our cake was the most delightful thing in the world! People could not stop talking about it. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The cake was delicious and beautiful. It was delivered perfectly on time and everything was fantastic.

My cake looked nothing like the picture that was in their book. I was very disappointed by the look. Luckily for us it tasted great!
