  Perfect Wedding Weekend

  We were looking for a beautiful venue with amazing food and no hassles. We could not have made a better choice than L’Auberge Provencale. Celeste and her team handled everything flawlessly and my husband and I were able to simply enjoy our time with our family. I was not a fan of many of the aspects of wedding planning, but it was so easy and stress-free with L’Auberge Provencale. We had a very small wedding, so everyone stayed on site. We were able to have amazing breakfasts together each morning, and just spend time together. The ceremony turned out beautifully and the food was really, really wonderful. The cake was literally a work of art and tasted delicious. L’Auberge Provencale was extremely accommodating. There were so many small touches they helped us out with that really made us feel celebratory. This year has been quite the whirlwind, so I feel bad I’m just getting to this review, but it really couldn’t have been more perfect for us.

  My husband and I celebrated our wedding day at L'Auberge and it was truly magical. Celeste and her staff were prompt, professional, and extremely hard-working from the planning process to the big day. We had a Saturday morning brunch wedding, and everything was perfect. From the breathtaking grounds, the immaculate rooms, and delicious cuisine... all of our guests were in awe. I can't thank you all enough for making our wedding such a day to remember!

  Celeste and all of the staff at L'Auberge made us feel like honored guests and long lost friends. What a beautiful place to get married! The only thing better then the food was the hospitality. My flowers were out of this world! Everything was superb.... welcomed with strawberries and champagne by the fire, private wine tour, had a couples massage, they even served us dinner in our room! Celeste made planing our wedding weekend completely stress free and more fun then I ever expected. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at L'Auberge, I can't wait for our anniversary to come back and bring the family!

  My wife and I decided to do a private wedding ceremony near where we live in DC as our families live on the west coast. We were looking for a spot that could help with all the details, as it is difficult to find a photographer, venue, minister, etc. all to coordinate for an event that is small and which we didn't want to spend quite as much as a full wedding. After visiting some bed and breakfasts in Virginia and researching the reasonably-driveable area around us, L'Auberge stood out greatly. As soon as we visited in person and discussed with Celeste the packages they have there was no question we wanted to have our ceremony there.
  
  We spent 2 nights there, and did our ceremony onsite, along with the dinner and lots of other fun things. Overall it was perfect, and a great value. Having Celeste help us manage the event and coordinate with the other people involved was exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing, the room was beautiful, and our pictures with the scenery there turned out better than we could have hoped.
  
  We would highly recommend this spot for your wedding, whether it is small like ours or with more people.

  Celeste and all of the staff at L'Auberge made our wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I didn't have very many "must have's" for our wedding but, these wonderful people made us all feel like we were royalty! I wish I could live that way every day! What an amazing venue! The food most incredible! The grounds were magnificant! The cake was to die for, I actually teared up when I saw how beautiful it was! Thank you to all the wonderful staff at L'Auberge, I can't wait for our anniversary to go back! And thank you to the pastry chef, you really blew me away!

  I cannot recommend L'Auberge Provencale enough. They made us feel really special and went out of the way to make sure that our wishes and requests were addressed. I loved the ease with which everything from location to menu was taken care of. Celeste was invaluable in offering suggestions on how organize the event, she had menu suggestions and we get a completely custom made wedding cake. It was the best ever and our guests STILL talk about it -- it was beautiful, delicious and exeacly like the photo of the cake that I have left with her. It was really the dream wedding and I cannot thank Celeste enough for making it happen.

  We chose this Inn for an intimate elopement for only me and my husband. We very much appreciated the fact that Celeste and her staff took care of everything! From getting me flowers, to securing the photographer and the officiant, to helping zip my wedding dress. The day was perfect! The beauty of the inn and Celeste's attention to detail created the day that we were looking for - and I didn't have to lift a finger! The price was very reasonable and we were thrilled with our wedding weekend! Our ONLY critique would be that the elopement package includes a very nice (and delicious) dinner; however, dinner is in the general dining room with all the other inn patrons. We would have liked something more intimate. In fairness, we never asked if we could have moved the dinner to another location, but given the elaborate nature of the dinner (a 10-course meal with wine pairings!), I'm guessing another location would not have been workable. Other than this one detail, we had a fantastic time and would recommend the inn to others as an intimate venue for a hassle free wedding!

  L'Auberge Provencale was an exceptionally beautiful location for our intimate elopement with immediate family. My husband and I traveled from California because of the incredible value of L'Auberge Provencale's elopement package; it simply could not be beat! Our package included our stay in one of the charming and comfortable suites with delicious breakfast each morning, a dinner for two, a gorgeous bridal bouquet and boutineer, a lovely wedding cake and champagne to toast to our marriage. Since we stayed for three days, we took advantage of all the Shenandoah area has to offer by visiting some wineries and going horseback riding nearby.
  
  We couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out, especially because we were from out of state! Celeste made us feel right at home and she made sure everything went smoothly. She and her staff provided exceptional service during the ceremony, during our celebration with family and during our first newlyweds dinner (we still reminisce about the delicious the hors d'oeuvres and our meal!) The grounds are absolutely stunning and provide plenty of natural beauty for photos. My husband and I look forward to returning to L'Auberge Provencale in the future to celebrate anniversaries and re-live our memorable experience in the heart of Virginia wine country!

  Celeste at L'Auberge Provencale kept me sane through my wedding, and the food, beverages, service and wedding cake were unbelievable. I could not have picked a better place, and I am so grateful I found them for my wedding.
