UPDATE: We got ahold of Luke and should have our video within a week or so. I will provide a complete, updated review once we get the final video.

When I hired Luke, I was so excited to have found a videographer within my budget who had beautiful, artistic samples on their website. I hired him and he showed up right on time to my Sept. 4th wedding and stayed until the very end. By the end of Oct., I was eager to see my video. I emailed Luke and asked for an update. He said "It'll be ready in less than 4 weeks!" and told me that a preview was ready on his website. I viewed the preview and it was amazing. I waited for him to send me the final product in the following weeks...but nothing came. After Thanksgiving, I emailed Luke again. This time, no response. We emailed again just before Christmas - nothing. We've even tried calling and we can't get ahold of him.

We hired Luke for our wedding last year. Everything seemed fine leading up to the wedding. At the wedding his performance seemed fine, not stellar, but I was still optimistic because the samples he had online looked so good. He was supposed to meet the bridesmaids and I at the salon, and didn't arrive until all of the bridesmaids were ready and they were finishing up my makeup. He left about a half hour before us to get over to the venue so he could record some of the details that were being set up, record the guys getting dressed, and be there for when we arrived and record us getting ready. We stopped for a brief lunch on the way, but running over an hour behind Luke, we still beat him to our venue. We did some adjustments to my gown between our preceremony photos and the ceremony. That is all the footage of the girls getting ready that he got. He had an assistant with him who was often sitting off in the corner of the reception. He did get most of our ceremony, thank goodness, although throughout the footage the screen periodically goes black while the sound continues. He missed the dance between my grandparents, the first part of my maid of honor's toast, portions of our first dance, and my sorority sisters' dedication song at the reception. We were expecting our videographer to be able to capture some of the moments that we missed, but we didn't even get all of the moments we had planned out and given Luke a schedule of.

It took Luke almost 20 phone calls and 7 months to get us our video. However, he did give us a partial refund, and he was apologetic. He was also nice in the interactions that we managed to have with him. We also gave him a hard drive to provide us with the raw footage of our event. He said that he would get it to us a within two weeks of giving us our video. It has been almost five months (and a year after our wedding), and we are still waiting. We have continued to try and get in touch with him. His voicemail box is now full, and he is ignoring our text messages. Bottom line is that I would not recommend Lashley Media for your wedding.

Luke shot my wedding this past April, and I was beyond thrilled with his work. From the very beginning, Luke was very easy to work with and conducted himself in a very professional manner. Luke does AMAZING work, and I was very impressed with the final product - the video was incredible! He captured wonderful footage and did a lovely job putting the video together. I can't imagine not having this special video to capture my wedding memories! All my thanks to Luke for his impeccable talent and wonderful work!
