Kristin and I hired Lara in February/March of 2008 and worked closely and in increasing frequency until my wedding in November. We contracted Lara for her full
service package as my (now) wife has a degenerative nerve disease (Multiple Sclerosis) and we felt like it would be prohibitive for Kristin to have do all the normal
legwork necessary to orchestrate a full scale wedding ceremony and reception. In retrospect, it would have been impossible to have the wedding we desired without an event coordinator of the caliber of Lara from Cameo Event.

Because we couldn't do the legwork, we met with Lara on a regular basis to discuss what we wanted. She researched vendors, decorations, flowers, music, venues, and anything else we asked of her. She usually found two or three choices of any given vendor that might meet with our approval. After hearing her impressions of the vendor based on either prior work experience or trade literature, Kristin and I would review the vendors and select one to interview. Almost flawlessly did we find the right vendor for the job every time. The only snag we hit with vendors was for our floral arrangement. The vendor we liked quoted us a price that was double our
budget. Lara came to the rescue finding us a way to have the same florals and quality that we wanted but while staying within our budget.

She really was our "point-man" for everything. We had some particularly unique requests for centerpieces and decorations and Lara not only helped us locate ways to obtain these, but she took the hassle out of dealing with a myriad of people and got us the best price available.

Her ideas and insights into the wedding industry were spot on. She helped us with contract issues with other vendors, and was present at all contract negotiations and signings.

She was a presence for the duration of the planning time up through the wedding. No request seemed too big for Lara. I am a high strung person who is usually a little over-stressed. I would be lying to say that I didn't have a number of meltdowns as the date of the wedding drew near. Each time I seemed to almost fall to pieces
Lara of Cameo Event not only helped put me back together but almost immediately had possible solutions for problems that I had thought were insurmountable. Sometimes these solutions required Lara going completely out of her way and above and beyond her contractual obligation to us. Yet she exceeded our expectations at every juncture.

She was the greatest asset we had for the wedding, and was worth ten times what we paid for her services.

Our experience with Cameo Event was great! We had a destination weekend event and fairytale wedding! The staff at Cameo found all our vendors and designed multiple aspects of our wedding to make it totally us! The wedding was amazing and I cannot say enough great things about the staff at Cameo Event. We will recommend them to everyone!

Our wedding was a complete hit. My family and friends can't stop raving about how amazing and fun everything was. I owe most of that to Lara and Cameo Event. I originally wanted someone to just deal with decor, but after meeting with Lara, I was thrilled to find out that she was capable of handling so much more. She certainly provided excellent decor -- our tables were beautiful and she went out of her way to match what we wanted and even found us 18" silver mylar "S" shaped balloons that went perfectly with our theme! The candle wreaths she made hung from the ceiling and were the perfect accent. She has a marvelous eye. She also coordinated all of the wedding weekend, provided professional staff to set up, breakdown, and serve the guests (both alcohol and food service). She handled the few problems with absolute grace and even provided beautiful flowers arrangements for the whole wedding party and family. There was no end to all the fantastic things she did for us. Once I hired Lara, all of the wedding stress practically vanished. She was a god-send and I can't imagine our wedding without her.
