I seriously don't even know where to start with Laning Photography. They seriously made our picture dreams come true! I HATE taking pictures, so it was important to me to find a photographer who could guide us on angles, how to pose, etc. Laning Photography went above and beyond what I could have imagined!!
First off, Hannah is such a warm and kind soul. She truly listened to me and what I was envisioning and made sure it happened. I could not believe how responsive she was via email, even during the craziest wedding season yet with COVID postponed weddings. She even gave me advice on what to wear for our engagement photo session! And not only that, she gave me the coat off of her back... LITERALLY. We changed outfits for a downtown Dallas shoot, and it was extremely windy. She took off her peacoat and told me to wear it and the pictures looked EPIC! They ended up being our favorite pictures! That's how much she cares.
And Nick is such a fun, creative person. He had us laughing the entire time. His creativity and really cool ideas gave our albums the mood and vibe we were looking for. For people who don't feel like we are photogenic, he made us look like we knew exactly how to pose, smile, etc.! He really captured a lot of candid, intimate moments between me and my fiance too, and these pictures are something we will cherish for a lifetime.
If you are looking for 2 photographers who will keep you from worrying about a single thing while making you look incredible, these two are it! They seriously set THE standard for the album of your dreams.
UPDATE: we had our wedding and these two were PERFECT once again! They made us feel so comfortable and helped us get pictures that I will cherish for a lifetime. When I saw our sneak peak, I started crying. I really struggle with body image issues and having my picture taken. I felt so beautiful and felt like they captured all of the emotions we were feeling that day! They seriously helped make my wedding pictures look like they came out of a magazine. They were some of the kindest and warmest souls we have ever met, and Nick had us laughing the entire day!! Nick and Hannah, thank you for making me feel like the most beautiful bride and for capturing all of these precious moments. -

All we can say is WOW! There are not enough words to describe how awesome and amazing Hannah and Nick are. We were lucky to experience the Laning's at my nieces wedding last year, so when my daughter was getting married there was no question that she wanted the Laning's as well....best choice ever!
Hannah and Nick read my daughters personality perfectly. When taking her bridals they created a relaxed, fun and totally organic feel to their session, making her portraits truly one of a kind.
Nick, the consummate professional, truly outdid himself on the wedding day! When we viewed the proofs of the wedding it took us all back to the day instantly. We had so much fun remembering the day and seeing how everything came together.... it was as if we were still there, dancing, laughing and witnessing the best day ever.
These pictures are once in a lifetime and you want to know that the photographer you choose is going to capture every moment and feel, of that special day.
Not only are these guys amazing photographers, they are so friendly and the cutest couple ever! The ease they use when approaching any setting makes you relax and know that you have nothing to worry about.
If you are lucky enough to have them available on the day of your wedding, I would run, not walk, to get them booked! You will not be disappointed!! -

Laning was the first thing I booked after we secured our venue. I saw them on Instagram knew I had to have them for our wedding. Nick and Hannah captured our love story in such a meaningful and beautiful way. They are so talented at what they do and take time and effort into your photographs. Laning is easily the best experience with a photographer to date! Nick and Hannah are super personable and very talented at their craft. Book with them and you will not regret it!!! -

Besides choosing the person you'll marrying, hiring Laning Photography for your wedding is the best choice you will ever make! My husband and I were married this past September and we were blown away by the memories Nick and Hannah captured on our big day. We didn't have a huge wedding budget (and we were married during a pandemic!!), so I was worried I would be disappointed with photos lacking extravagant decor and flowers, but the moments Nick and Hannah captured brought my husband and me to tears. These two are true artists! Every single photo they take is full of emotion and takes you right back to the moment it was shot. They are easy to work with and they'll shoot you straight (you will really appreciate this during the chaos of wedding planning)!
We also did our engagement shoot with Nick and Hannah and I HIGHLY recommend this and it will make you much more comfortable on your wedding day. (Not to mention these are some of my favorite pictures EVER!) I cannot sing enough praise for these two as photographers and humans. Thank you both!

Cannot recommend the Laning’s enough! They always went above and beyond for each one of our shoots and made them all so fun. From our engagement shoot, to my bridal portraits, to both of our weddings (thanks, covid), they captured each moment so perfectly! Plus they are hilarious and super easy to work with! We absolutely love each photo they’ve taken and will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend them for all of your photography needs! -

Nick and Hannah are both amazing photographers and their work speaks for itself. Both my husband and I are so happy we chose them. They went above and beyond to give us breathtaking pictures. Not to mention, they are some of the most kind, genuine people and care so deeply about each couple they work with! They were a blessing for both my husband and I during our engagement and gave pictures that we will cherish forever! Couldn't recommend enough! -

A husband and wife team. We unfortunately booked the Laning’s last minute however they worked hard to accommodate and didn’t miss a beat. Hannah walked in and had this overwhelming peace about her. I HATE having my picture taken, I’m a big time tomboy, with my fair share of insecurities, but she was so kind and made me feel SO comfortable, despite a minor panic attack (I just freaked at the thought of a ton of people looking at me 😒). Now enter Nick, he walks in and is HILARIOUS. A genius at his craft I can tell you that. I loved listening to him and Hannah run ideas off of one another. They worked so well with one another. We galloped through a field of camel poop together and they were both willing to do whatever it took to get the shots they envisioned and ensured I got everything I wanted. They seemed to have a good time and that helped a more natural flow of things. I would often ask for a picture with a family member or friend and they were always close by in our huge venue. The Laning’s also worked well and perfectly patient with my grumpy (grandpa) with end stage dementia, who had a difficult time. As I got teary a few times Nick would say “it’s okay to feel things,” and we would just continue on, and it WAS ok it was better than ok, it was perfect. They communicate wonderfully and answer any question you can throw at them as a nervous bride. I love their moody style pictures as I am not at all a light and airy bride, but I’ve seen they can master it all. They both were so excited to incorporate our cars, which are our babies. My only regret is not meeting them sooner and having an engagement shoot. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they are. My wedding coordinator LOVED working with them as this was her first time. My husband LOVED having them photograph our wedding, and it’s what he fought me hardest on.
(A “fancy” photographer) (however they were VERY affordable) If we had to do it all again, we would choose Laning Photography a million times over. -

Cait Sent on 12/09/2017Five stars is not high enough of a rating for Laning Photography. Nick and Hannah are purely amazing artists. Their photography is unlike any I've ever seen in the wedding industry; they set the bar high and you will NOT be disappointed if you hire them. They are so fun to work with; we enjoyed working with both of them so much! They bring their personalities into their work and are famous for capturing the moments brides and grooms want, but also moments that would likely go unnoticed by other photographers. Hands down, we'll hire them again any opportunity we get!

The pictures are some of my most cherished photos of all time. Nicholas made us feel comfortable and at ease during the session and was able to use the natural setting of a deer ranch to provide the perfect background. There is no one else that I would have picked to capture those moments.
