We ordered our wedding cake from Lamb's Thriftway Garden Home. They met with us ahead of time so we could taste the different flavors of cake and decide on our design. This was especially fun because they let us pick the cake/filling combinations we wanted to try ahead of time and had prepared tasting cupcakes for each flavor when we arrived, which made our decision a lot easier. Our cake turned out exactly as we had hoped for and was beautiful. The delivery process was also very painless. They used a buttercream frosting that was to die for. It's been three months since my wedding and we still have leftover wedding cake in our freezer and it still tastes great.
Lamb's Thriftway (Garden Home location) created a delicious two-tiered cake for us, decorating it beautifully based on a picture I sent to them. We taste-tested various flavor combinations by buying pre-made slices from the bakery! Opting for an Oregon-wedding theme, we had one layer with almond poppyseed cake and marion berry filling and a second layer with hazelnut cake and hazelnut mousse filling, all covered with white whipped cream frosting! Everyone LOVED it! We even took leftovers with us on the honeymoon!
Lamb's Thriftway Garden home was great!! Our decorating consultant had amazing ideas that really fit what we were looking for. We went in with a few pictures of what we liked and she was able to pull elements out to create our special cake. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted amazing. Their prices are also cheaper than most, but the quality is top notch. A+
Lamb's is by far the cheapest when it comes to wedding cakes, but it is also very high value for your money. Our cake was beautiful and delicious. It was so good we ordered the same thing for a birthday cake a few weeks after our wedding. I would recommend them to everyone for their cakes!
A three tier cake was very affordable at Lambs.It was big enough and looked great all around.Everyone at Lamb's Thriftway was very cooperative through the whole process.
They made us a classical white cake that had three delicious layers.I was pleased with the designs they offered and picked one that was simple yet elegant.They delivered the cake at the agreed upon date and it looked and tasted great.

Cake tastings are one of the best parts of planning your wedding! It's always fun to try different bakeries but you won't find a cake that's more fresh, tasty and affordable than Lamb's Thriftway. They offer friendly service, the most generous tastings, and natural, made-from-scratch ingredients, unlike most grocery store cakes. They also offer unique cake flavors (like pumpkin, hazelnut and banana, which rocks!!!) with real ingredients that are so fresh your guests will be raving about how it was the best cake they've ever had! Our wedding cake was one of the best parts of our entire day and I would recommend Lamb's to any bride! YUM!!!
We had to wait about 15 minutes before being acknowledged by the baker. Was not warmly received by baker. Cake was cold and all 4 flavors tasted the same. Very uncaring attitude by baker towards getting our business. Square cake was $$$ more than round cakes. Any added feature was added $$$.
Lamb's Thriftway surprised us with a cake that was not only greatly decorated but perfectly sized.I loved their butter cream icing.The staff was amazing to work with and I loved their attention to every detail.
