Heidi was absolutely wonderful to work with. Extremely professional with an outstanding attention to detail. We did 170 cupcakes in six different flavors as well as a small cake to cut. We received so many compliments not only on how beautiful everything looked but how amazing everything tasted. I can not recommended Lakes Cakes enough. Fantastic.

Our wedding cake was perfect! We could not be more pleased with the outcome. It was just as we imagined, very fairly priced and absolulately delicious. Our guests have been calling all week to tell us how delicious our cake was!

Lakes Cakes was so accomodating to our needs. We booked them on very short notice and they were great every step of the way. They provided us with a cake for our theme wedding and personalized it for us & our children. They provided our cake, cup cakes, and cookies, all which were great tasting and looked wonderful! Heidi was wonderful to work with, I look forward to doing business with Lakes Cakes in the future!!

You did an exceptional job and everyone is telling me how good the cake tasted, and that it was the best they have ever had. :) I wanted to personally thank you for working with me and making my wedding cake everything I ever dreamed of. It was a pleasure working with you. Steve and I can't wait to eat more of our cake now that we are home from our honeymoon!!!

We tried many bakers before settling with Lakes Cakes and they have by far the best cake for the price in our area. The cake is very moist and the fillings were all fabulous. We ended up with a five tiered cake and two sheet cakes most of which had different fillings and cake options so we did not have to decided on just one which I loved.

Lakes Cakes was wonderful!! I am still getting compliments on how delicious the cake was. Not only did the cake taste delicious but it looked beautiful, just the way I imagined it! Heidi was very easy to work with and her prices were outstanding! I would recommend Lakes Cakes to anyone!

Working with Heidi was great! When my then fiancee and I met her at her home I felt really comfortable. I had never had to decide so many things as I did with the wedding and she made the cake part easy. We talked and tasted and though we were able to decide on a shape, and # of tiers, When we still didnt know what flavor, Heidi sent us home with the rest of the samples that she'd made. I was glad that she was ok with doing all of our communication via email after that first meeting. We planned our Ann Arbor MI wedding while living in Boston. I felt comfortable that I was going to get what I asked for even though we werent meeting face to face. The cake turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!! I think my guest took more pictures of that than anything else honestly! And it was really good. I had some for breakfast the next day~ Over all I would totally recommend Lakes Cakes.

Lakes Cakes was great to work with. Heidi responded very quickly & professionally to all my emails (and there were many) and the wedding cake was gorgeous. I emailed ideas and Heidi came up with a design that surpassed our expectations. We also ordered a football shaped University of Oregon groom's cake and the duck mascot was unbelievably detailed and perfect looking; the football shaped cookies we ordered were also perfect. The cake & cookies were delicious, all our guests loved them.

initial presentation was very impressive. They provided you with great samples and where willing to work with any ideas you may have. There website was full of photos for more ideas. Their prices were very reasonable and their quality and presentation was excellent.
