  Where do I even start?! Ken Thomas Photography/Ken Thomas is the best photographer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From the moment we scheduled our engagement photo shoot with him and had our first call, I felt like I had known him for years. He's very personable and easy to work with. He made our engagement shoot so much fun!! Once we got our photos back, I was in awe! I LOVED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! It was so hard to choose!! He will make all your wildest photo dreams and expectations come TRUE!! I CAN'T RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH! Thank you Ken! Can't wait for you to do our wedding in February! :)

  Phenomenal!!

  Ken was amazing to work with! He captured our engagement photos, my bridal photos, and our wedding day photos. He and his assistant Fred did a phenomenal job. Everyone in my wedding party loved them and had a great time. Ken will also make your photo sessions fun and personable. If you’re looking for great personality and great photos, this is the guy to do it.

  Amazing photography

  As a wedding videographer myself, I was very picky about the photographer we hired for our wedding. I was lucky enough to work with Ken at another wedding and saw his work. He is the most friendly wedding professional I’ve met so far and his eye for photography is second to none. My wife and I are so happy with the pictures, and I look forward to working with Ken in the future.

  An amazing photographer and a good person

  I unhesitatingly recommend Ken Thomas Photography! Ken’s professionalism before, during, and after our May 2022 wedding has been exceptional. His attention to detail has been superb, and his talent is evident in our finished products. I’m thrilled with our photos, and I’m so thankful that I found such an accomplished professional for our special day.
  
  Way back in 2019, Ken met with me in person at his studio to discuss our expectations and to give me more information about his work. He impressed me as a delightful and extremely professional gentleman, and I liked him immediately. He also, during one of our visits, devised a detailed timeline for the events of our special day. That timeline proved invaluable in calming me on our wedding day and in keeping the festivities on schedule.
  
  All was nicely on track with all our wedding businesses, but due to the pandemic, we rescheduled our 2020 wedding. Ken was more than understanding and accommodating as I tried to come up with alternative dates. He was always a pleasure to speak with and even checked in with me from time to time to make sure we were still on schedule.
  
  On the day of the wedding, he arrived at our location in Marion County, South Carolina over an hour before the start time on our timeline, just to scope out the private home where our wedding was being held and to get an idea of photo locations. He was friendly and kind with everyone, both during photo sessions and at other times.
  
  He was fast and efficient in taking pictures, and his experience as a photographer showed as he quickly arranged us and our families in various great poses. My groom and I are both 60 years old, and he not only tried to make us feel more comfortable in posing - something that could have tried the patience of other folks - but also treated us just as he would a good-looking couple in their 20’s. He made us feel special and was completely patient with his elderly bride and groom and our even-older guests.
  
  In addition to the posed photographs, he took great candid shots as well as many lovely photos of our outdoor ceremony. Since we didn’t have a videographer, it was especially meaningful to me that I have photos of our vows and our walk down the aisle together.
  
  I received so many compliments from guests and family members, even before they saw the finished photos. Those in attendance noted that Ken was always available and busy taking photos throughout the evening and that he was unfailingly friendly. And then when they saw the nearly 500 photos - wow!
  
  I’m a technophobe, but Ken very patiently helped me with the online viewing of our pictures. He even emailed us a sneak-peek of around a hundred pictures less than a week after our wedding. The prints of all sizes are beautiful (despite the elderly subject matter!), and the lighting and color are perfect in each photo.
  
  When my two sons someday marry their girlfriends, I’d love to have Ken as the photographer. Even after all my wordy review, I can’t think of a higher compliment than that!

  Worth every penny!

  We LOVE this photographer! He does an amazing job and he deserves every penny and more. He did a wonderful job and we were most excited about his photos! We also think we lucked out finding the best in Charlotte!! We'll be recommending him to all our friends and family and if he has your date available we highly recommend hiring immediately!!

  I own and operate a florist in Marshville, North Carolina. Fortunately that means I have the pleasure of meeting many talented vendors at weddings and events. That is how I met Ken Thomas! While mutually working several weddings I noticed how professional, kind, and attentive Ken was with the families he was serving. There was no doubt he would be the perfect choice for my own daughter’s upcoming wedding. From the start, Ken was very accommodating. He photographed her engagement session, bridal portrait session, and wedding. He came out to the farm for the engagement and bridal portrait sessions because my daughter had always dreamed of including her horse and dog in these special portraits. Ken went above and beyond, even wading in a creek for a few of those shots! He is dependable and always on time. Take a look at his website! His work speaks for itself.   Ken is by far the best in the wedding photography business. I love his spirit and his personality, he is so kind and sweet.   So Blessed to Find Ken!

  I can’t say enough good things about Ken! He is professional and personable at the same time. Our engagement and wedding pictures were beyond amazing and he captured every moment, feeling, and emotion on film perfectly. I cry fresh tears of joy each time I look at them, because it feels like I am reliving the joy of the day. He as a master at his craft but also very reasonably priced. I have recommended him to everyone I know and will be using him for any of our upcoming family photo needs as well.

  Between the engagement shoot to our wedding day, Ken went above & beyond & I truly don’t think there’s anyone else who could’ve captured our love. I will for sure be using him again (in a couple years) for maternity pictures. Amazing work & a pleasure to have around! We are beyond happy with our pictures!!!!

  I cannot say enough good things about Ken Thomas and his team. We booked Ken right after we got engaged and he was such a great person to work with from start to finish. He helped us describe our dream for our day and made our dreams come to reality on our big day! Ken met with us before the wedding to develop a timeline and always kept open communication for anything we may need! Ken and his second shooter showed up early, stayed late, and managed to get every detail and event in between. Seriously, we were so lucky to have him as a vendor and looking back at our pictures - I am SO HAPPY we chose Ken Thomas Photography!!

Ken met with us before the wedding to develop a timeline and always kept open communication for anything we may need! Ken and his second shooter showed up early, stayed late, and managed to get every detail and event in between. Seriously, we were so lucky to have him as a vendor and looking back at our pictures - I am SO HAPPY we chose Ken Thomas Photography!!

  Hands down the best photographer ever. Made us so comfortable and the photos came out stunning! He went above and beyond. He made me feel so gorgeous and totally interpreted my husbands and I’s relationship. Will be 100% hiring for maternity photos when the time comes! Thank you so much Ken!

  Working with Ken was so easy - from the first phone call to getting our pictures! He helped pull together a great timeline for pictures the afternoon of our wedding and found the perfect spots for pictures at the park. Our pictures look fantastic, and I really appreciate how he documented the essence of the day and captured moments that I hadn't seen. I would highly recommend him!
