I knew all of the vendors I wants to work with prior to working with Katie, so full wedding planning wasn't something we needed in our situation. But day of coordination? Absolutely! Katie’s One Special Day package was lifesaving. I planning the wedding myself, but with the benefit of Katie’s periodic advice, guidance, recommendations, and reassurance along the way. Katie then stepped in closer to the wedding to put together a detailed schedule, review contracts, take care of vendor confirmations, and just essentially button everything up.

On the big day, Katie appeared on the scene, and I literally never had another worry from that point forward.

Weddings are complicated. No matter how carefully you plan, little issues pop up continually throughout the day. Especially at a DIY type of venue, if you do NOT have a coordinator, the bride spends her day keeping track of everything and doing all of the unexpected problem-solving. Hiring Katie was the best money we spent, because I didn't have to worry at all. I literally to this day have NO idea what went wrong or had to be fixed during the wedding. When questions arose, people went to Katie. When guests were misdirected by a venue employee and almost saw me BEFORE the ceremony (gasp!!), Katie chased them out. Heaters needing to be moved, confused bus drivers called my cell phone, bridesmaids were starving and needed snacks...HANDLED. Katie is like superwoman. Seriously, she should wear a cape.

And maybe best of all, Katie herself is so wonderful! She brings such a fun, optimistic, warm presence to the wedding. Everybody loved her. She was like part of the family!

When we were planning our wedding, my husband and I knew we wanted to spend the money to get a day-of planner to execute our ideas on our special day. Because we had been engaged for 2-and-a-half years and dating for almost 7, we had plenty of special touches, sentimental moments and must-have ideas. We didn't want our families running around to make sure everything was done correctly, and we didn't want to worry about it either. We chose Katie and her team for her day-of services after a recommendation from our florist and a phone interview. Even my husband was impressed when we met face-to-face with Katie and her assistant Chelsea. By remembering something so simple yet important like my husband's parents are sadly no longer with us from our prior phone conversation, Katie was able to gracefully skip over that awkward moment so my husband didn't have to go through explaining it. He was amazed. Even though we hired them for day-of, they went above and beyond in the weeks leading up to the wedding, from talking me through hotel negotiations, to meeting with the reception vendors two weeks before because they had never worked with them before or seen the venue. The day before I still hadn't heard from my DJ and Chelsea calmed my fears, quickly tracked him down (somehow!) and made sure I wasn't worried about it as I walked into my rehearsal.

Chelsea and her assistant were gracious, friendly and always right there when someone said, "what do we do?" Even something like helping my dad get his tie on the morning of was a huge help and pinning the corsages on the groomsmen. The day also went off on time and Chelsea even kept it from me that we had tornado watches in the area!

My husband and I, and our families and friends, highly recommend Katie O and her fabulous team. You won't be disappointed. We still say, out of all the vendors we hired for the day, their service was the best money spent.

Katie O and her team were single handedly the most valuable addition to our wedding day. Everything from the coordination, to the logistics, to the last minute brush fires and needed ideas were perfect because she was there for us. When it came to planning my wedding I was originally going to do everything myself. I am so glad that I decided to call a professional and that Katie O' was the coordinator I called.

Katie was unbelievably helpful, professional, knowledgeable and supportive! I could call her throughout the planning process whenever I needed to and she proactively set up monthly meetings with me and my husband. I really enjoyed the fun part of planning a wedding, finding my own vendors, decorating, tastings etc. The part of planning that really overwhelmed me was day of scheduling and knowing what to ask vendors during vendor meetings. This is where Katie's expertise was invaluable. She attended meetings with me and coordinated with the vendors at the location of my wedding perfectly.

When it came to the actual wedding, she coordinated everything from start to finish. Everyone in my wedding party was impressed with her. I remember my dad walking up to me asking where the "men's" schedule for the day of was. I had no idea what he was talking about until my maid of honor pulled out Katie's business card which had an hour by hour break down of where the wedding party needed to be stapled to the back of it. There was one for the men and one for the women. I was so impressed, what a fabulous idea!! This is just one example of the attention to detail that Katie has. Her and her assistant actually walked around with "tool belts" filled with anything we could possibly need. My hair towards the end of the night was falling and I needed a bobby pin. Katie pulled one out of her "tool belt" and came to the rescue. Any time there was a change that needed to be made throughout the reception she handled it seamlessly.

My husband had been unsure that we needed a wedding planner when we started this process but the night of the wedding he told me that with all of the money we spent on this event, she was hands down the best investment!

My wedding day was seamless thanks to Katie O' and her team...having KO do partial-planning & day of-coordination was exactly what I needed to make sure all my planning was carried out perfectly & allow my bridesmaids, family and I to relax and enjoy the day, without worrying about all the nitty-gritty details. The in-house planner at my venue was, to put it nicely, too careless and easy-going, and it was RELIEVING to have KO on my side - to respond to emails, offer ideas, set up all my knick knacks, come up with a doable schedule, etc. - I never would have wanted to do that and more on the day of, let alone delegate to family and friends. Even my husband, who did very little by way of actually planning was super-impressed and grateful.
