    We chose John to officiate our wedding in July, and are very happy with our decision. During my initial call with John, he was extremely clear about the process and what to expect for next steps. Upon meeting John, he was extremely welcoming and patient with my wife and I as we tried to plan out the ceremony. We decided to not write our own vows, so the option to mix and match options from John’s ceremony offerings was fantastic. We greatly appreciated his “peace of mind” call before the wedding, confirming we were on his schedule and that he’d be there. On the day of our wedding, I was able to meet with him prior to the ceremony and go over the little details to make sure everything went smoothly. Upon being pronounced ‘husband and wife’, my wife and I sealed our vows with a kiss and John had moved to the side so we would be the only two in our pictures . I didn’t realize it at the time, but it’s definitely appreciated when we go back and look at our pictures. Overall, we’re incredibly happy with John and highly recommend him to anyone looking to get married.

    We asked John to officiate at our wedding on June 23rd. We met with him a couple of weeks before the wedding to go over the details. He did an amazing job. He was very professional and the ceremony went smoothly. We opted to light a unity candle. We had several different vows to choose from: John spoke in short sentences so that even a nervous couple could get it right.,

    When I first start going through officiant selection, I wasn't sure who to pick so many get 5 stars that it's hard to sort through which ones are actually 5 star worthy but John definitely is. He's extremely affordable and so humble. We wanted someone who wouldn't be so stuffy and help us truly enjoy the beauty of the moment. John did a spectacular job. He walked us through each part of our ceremony and we had several phone calls with him throughout the process. This was extremely helpful as we were planning a wedding in 6 months for NH while living in Texas. John made sure to walk through the ceremony with those relatives that had missed the rehearsal the previous day. His peace of mind phone call was helpful. I would recommend doing a rehearsal with him as well as buying the larger package as it gives you flexibility. John brought a levity and down to earthness to our ceremony that we all absolutely loved and got compliments on. Thank you John!

    John did a fantastic job as our wedding officiant for our secular ceremony. He has affordable pricing and was extremely thorough with the whole process. He met with my fiance and I for over an hour initially to make sure we felt comfortable with the process and to show us how to use his website to plan the ceremony. We did not want to write our own vows so the option to piece together our ceremony on his website was amazing. We got so many compliments on our ceremony and we got to make it match our personalities perfectly. Before the wedding we spoke on the phone multiple times to discuss the ceremony and I appreciated John’s “peace of mind” call the week of the wedding to let us know he would be there for the rehearsal. John did a nice job during the ceremony of letting the guests know what is happening and making the wedding party feel comfortable and confident. I would highly recommend John as a wedding officiant!

    i am so happy we found john scuto to perform our secular wedding ceremony on september 3rd on hampton beach! he was so flexible, accommodating and tolerant (of our shenanigans at the rehearsal mostly :) ) we were very adamant about having a very short and to-the-point ceremony and he had the perfect option for us; just said what needed to be said to make us legal! however, if you prefer a longer ceremony or a religious or spiritual one, he can do that, too! we would definitely recommend him to anyone getting married in new hampshire!

    John was the Justice of the Peace for our recent wedding. He is very professional and informative when it comes to planning out your ceremony. About a week before the wedding he gave me a call and we went through all the specifics for the ceremony, which definitely put me at ease. (We decided not to do a rehearsal, so we wouldn't be seeing him until the wedding day) John does a great job with the guests, explaining everything in the ceremony before it happens. Our ceremony was a short and sweet pre-written ceremony to which we added in a few readings from friends and family. John was very accommodating to our ceremony changes and it was just the way we imagined it!

    John was recommended to us by our photographer, and I'm very pleased with our experience. He was extremely professional and is very knowledgeable about the logistics of wedding ceremonies. He was also very responsive and flexible when working with us, which allowed us to have a simple but sweet ceremony, which was perfect for us. As we are not local, all of our meetings were handled on the phone. In fact, I "met" him at the altar! Our last call was a week before the wedding, where he went over final details, and asked our wedding colors so he could wear a matching tie. After the ceremony, he provided us with a decorative copy of the words, which makes for a lovely keepsake. I definitely recommend working with John, it made for a worry-free and lovely ceremony!

    John Scuto was the justice of the peace for our wedding September 6, 2014. He was professional, timely and extremely personable. We went with a quick ceremony due to the 96 degree weather and he accommodated all of our needs perfectly while making it not look rushed at all! He even called before and confirm every little detail down to what color the groomsmen were wearing so that he would match for the pictures! He truly is a professional and I highly highly recommend him to anyone looking for a justice of the peace for their wedding!

    John was the perfect man for the job of officiating our wedding! He understood our no-frills approach to the ceremony, yet was still able to make it special, memorable, and a little bit weepy. He was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and helped make the "official" part of a wedding so trouble-free.

    Friendly, responsive, professional. His custom ceremony program is great and he provides lots of resources to help create your own ceremony. We didn't meet him until the day of the wedding, but were confident he'd be great based on the communications and support from him leading up to the day - and he did not disappoint!

    John Scuto and his wife, Cathy, of Blue Sky Wedding Services were fabulous. My husband and I were convinced they would be perfect for our wedding after our first meeting. They have so many options for helping you build your perfect ceremony and their rates are extremely reasonable. They help every step of the way no matter what you are looking for: short & sweet, pre-written ceremonies, to a binder full of tips, suggestions and worksheets to help you build a ceremony from scratch – and everything in between. John is a great, warm & confident speaker and did a wonderful job performing the ceremony. The amazing Cathy helped keep everyone and everything organized. She’s the behind-the-scenes ceremony coordinator on the day-of and does everything from teaching the men how to correctly pin their boutonnieres, lining everyone up for the procession (and offering to hold the clutch you forgot to put down before lining up!), making sure the timing and cues are perfectly executed, and giving last minute words of encouragement as she scoots you down the aisle. I would highly recommend them!

    John Scuto performed my wedding ceremony in October 2012, and his wife Cathy coordinated the ceremony. John is a little more personable than Cathy, and you will mostly deal with him until the rehearsal, when Cathy gets into her element and helps everyone practice lining up and processing/recessing. John was very helpful with planning out the ceremony and was enthusiastic about adding a unique element of our choosing. We had a beautiful and well-organized ceremony and I absolutely recommend John & Cathy's services to other couples.
