    My review is far delayed, but we had a absolutely wonderful experience with Jennifer Alexa Events for our wedding! We had Jennifer and Kyle on point for us for day of coordination. I have to say, the team blew me away with their planning ability, thoroughness, foresight of issues, and attention to detail. We had a big Indian wedding with 320 people, and so many small details to manage. Despite never having coordinated an Indian wedding, Jen and Kyle made every effort to understand our traditions to ensure that everything happened with the right people at the right time. They managed the crowd and vendors very well, and ensured that our families were taken care of during the events. The team helped us get the venue set up with the other vendors, coordinated the incoming deliveries, managed the schedules of all the events, and managed the tear down all while we were dancing the night away with our guests.
    Bob and I couldn't be happier with the Jennifer Alexa team! They made our day seamless and perfect, and we strongly recommend their services!

    The best moments of your wedding are sure to come to life with Jen. For full disclosure, Jen is my best friend, was my matron of honor, and I explicitly told her to not work during the wedding. I should've known better.

    Standing on the sidelines is not how Jen works.

    To put it simply, my wedding was exactly what I wanted. Friends and family came from across the country to Chicago on the hottest day in June to have a great time, and Jen was 100% a HUGE part of making that happen. From the organization of vendors to figuring out a crazy situation with an uncounted for +1 guest, every detail was covered. (And an extra shout out to her husband, Justin, who is a SAINT!) I severely underestimated what all goes into planning a wedding and all those little apps and spreadsheets just don't cut it. Also, don't stress out about tablecloths.

    I'm mainly writing this because everyone needs a Jen in their life- supremely joyful, optimistic, whip smart, outgoing, and a powerhouse of a lawyer as well. When you meet her, you'll get it. The reviews below and on other sites will tell you the same story- if you're getting married, hosting an event, or just simply throwing an amazing 4th birthday party, you'll definitely want Jennifer Alexa Event Planning to be on your team.

    Jen and Kyle were amazing to work with. We used her as a "day if coordinator" and she does so much more. It made the day so much more enjoyable (and the days leading up to it). They were very organized and professional. I would hire her all over again!

    As great as it gets!

    Our wedding was September 2nd! My husband and I planned our entire wedding and wanted to have someone there to oversee the day and make sure everything went as planned. That is how I found Jen, Kyle, and her team. When I initially met with Jen, I instantly got a good feeling about her. I felt like she would command the day and my wedding was safe with her. I was right. Even though I hired Jen to be a "day-of-coordinator", she was so helpful leading up to the big day! A few months before my wedding, we had issues with my photographer/videographer and ended up having to find a new one. Jen sent us a list of reputable photographers and videographers shortly after, and we couldn't be happier with our new choices. Jen also provided an itinerary, coordinated with all vendors the weeks leading up, and helped to make sure I knew nothing of what went wrong that day. Please book Jen for your wedding day, I promise you will not be disappointed!

    Ok- so my wedding hasn't even happened and I am already so thankful for Jen and Christie! I am using their day of coordination and they are so incredibly helpful. Their package for day-of coordination goes above and beyond the day only. They do all of the prep work so that the day of my wedding will happen perfectly! Jen has also been extremely active in helping with suggesting vendors, ideas, etc. and know where all of the best prices are. I feel like she goes above and beyond for me, even with getting the smaller package. I highly recommend these ladies! Both very smart and educated and know what they're doing! If the wedding fails (WHICH IT WON'T) I will come back and adjust my review.. but I highly doubt it will with all of this prep work! Thank you girls for keeping me SANE! :)

    From our first meeting I knew that Jen would be perfect for our wedding and I was right! Jen, Assistant Kyle & her staff did a FANTASTIC job bringing our wedding day vision to life! Our venue, a park pavilion looked even better than I had imagined it would! She was there for us each step of the way and so organized that on the day of our wedding, we had nothing to do or worry about but enjoying our day. With Jen getting through family photos was a breeze, even our Photographer was impressed on how she got everyone to do their part in getting the pictures taken that we were a head of schedule! My mother remarked that she was so happy with Jen and her staff that she was able to kick back and relax right away and did not have to worry about anything but visiting with all our guests. It was a perfect day thanks to Jen and company!

    My husband and I worked with Jen and her team using their month-of services for our September 2015 wedding. Both my husband and I are from the Cleveland area, but were planning our wedding from Washington, DC. We knew that we could do most of the planning ourselves but also knew we didn’t want to worry about all of the day-of issues that come up – getting all the decorations to the venue, setting up, cleaning up and all the other unplanned issues that arise – that’s where Jen and her team stepped in!

    Leading up to the wedding, Jen was extremely helpful in suggesting vendors, contacting our vendors to make sure everything was all squared away (even catching that the DJ had our old first dance song the day before the wedding!), always getting back to me very quickly with answers to my questions, providing helpful planning materials, and creating a detailed itinerary for members of the bridal party and families. I had so much ease of mind on the day of the wedding knowing that everything was in Jen and her team’s capable hands. The day was absolutely perfect, and Jen was there to mitigate or handle any issues as they arose – an unexpected guest, providing a cake cutter because I forgot, replacement alcohol when we started running low and tons of things I’m sure I don’t even know about. She listened to what we wanted so everything was as we had imagined and was so organized which kept things running smoothly. If you’re like me, and want to do a lot of the wedding planning yourself, I strongly encourage you to hire a month-of coordinator, like Jen, because it makes all the difference knowing someone else is handling things so you can truly just enjoy your special day.

    Can I give 10 stars for value and quality of service? We are so grateful to Jennifer for helping make the wedding of our dreams come true. I had hired most of the vendors and done a lot of planning myself, but wanted to have someone take care of business on the actual wedding day so that I could enjoy myself. I'm so glad Jennifer was our Day-of Coordinator!!! If there were any problems at the wedding, I didn't know about it
    We went with Jennifer Alexa because of the competitive rate, and didn't expect that we needed too much. We met Jennifer in person, then met at the venue for a walk through. At those meetings, we could tell Jennifer was an assertive person, a good quality in a wedding coordinator. We had some demands that she questioned at first, but then trusted us and and helped us have everything we asked for. She is organized, and her itinerary was essential to make sure everyone was on the same page. She, and her delightful assistant Kyle, facilitated our rehearsal dinner, and were friendly with our guests. The day of the wedding, they were superheros! I had mentioned in passing that I wasn't thrilled with the flowers, but didn't make a big deal about it. The morning of the wedding, she personally went to the florist and made them redo the bouquets completely - they ended up even better than I imagined in the first place! That blew us away! Go Jennifer! While I was at the salon and getting ready in my dress, she was at the venue setting everything up, running to the store for things I'd forgotten, and making sure all the vendors were where they needed to be. She took charge of my extra large family during our group pictures, and made sure everyone knew what to do during the ceremony. She was there for me when I needed her during the reception, and was out of sight the rest of the time - working behind the scenes and taking care of things I hadn't even thought of before.
    I highly recommend Jennifer for wedding planning - she's worth every dollar and more.

    Jennifer was very helpful in making sure my day went smoothly. She came and walked through the venue with me about a month before and got a feel for how I would like the day to go. She then took the names and numbers of all the vendors and from there was the contact person for them up until the big day. This was huge for me, as I had enough to worry about in those last weeks before the wedding. Jennifer created a timeline for my day down to the minute and distributed it to everyone who needed to be involved. On the day of the wedding she took care of every vendor set up and made sure everyone in the wedding party was where they needed to be at all times. I had zero stress on my wedding day because of all of her hard work! :)

    Jennifer and Alexa were absolutely amazing and helped us with everything we never knew we needed! We booked Jennifer and Alexa's hourly consulting services and day of wedding planning services. If anything went wrong at/or during our wedding, we had no idea - which is a testament to these two! I would 150% recommend booking JenniferAlexa Event Planning !
    I had a very hesitant groom and by the week of the wedding he was telling me "best money we spent - we could not have done this without Jennifer and Alexa".
    For their consulting services, we met with them after we already had a lot of the big things booked (photographer, dj, venue, etc..) and with sites like Pintrest, I started to get very overwhelmed with all the ideas for decor, paper, linens, logistics, etc.. and 1 meeting they helped me to hone in on my vision, gave great suggestions, and brought up important things that we had not even thought about/considered yet! With such great taste and creativity (especially with Alexa's interior design background) -they truly helped bring my vision to life and we're absolutely incredible with any follow up questions and concerns we had on anything!
    For the Day-Of Coordination, they were fabulous! Very professional, friendly, but direct when we needed them to be, and so great to work with! They were truly looking out for us on our day and made sure that us, our friends, and family were able to enjoy it - which we are beyond grateful for because the day goes by so fast! Anything that we needed - they stepped up to do and help with- decor, bridesmaid dresses, making sure vendors got payments/tip, table set up, hanging our marquee lights, etc. They day of timeline alone was amazing - they helped to pull an entire schedule for the weekend and got it into the hands of all of our vendors and personally reached out to each one to make sure they had what they needed and knew where they needed to be when!

    Simply amazing and cannot say enough good things!

    Jennifer and Alexa not only made our big day run flawlessly and smoothly, they both made the planning of our wedding just as impeccable. If we needed advice about anything, they were always there to give me several options that stayed within our budget. They were also incredibly helpful in finding the small details that I would have forgotten had I not had them plan our wedding. Jennifer and Alexa went far beyond our expectations and we were so lucky to have them as part of our special day. They were also very flexible with meeting times and made everything as easy as possible for me, especially the communication between our vendors. We are forever grateful for Jennifer Alexa Event Planning because our big day was the most amazing day!

    Jennifer and Alexa were so helpful in creating a beautiful wedding with a reasonable budget for us. We appreciated how much help they gave in choosing vendors, creating decorations and coordinating our day of events. They were always very responsive and professional. If you're thinking about needing a planner, they are phenomenal!

    Using Jenifer & Alexa Event Planning was the best decision we ever made in planning our wedding. I still can't even wrap my head around all the work they put into our big day. From ironing tablecloths (ALL NIGHT) to setting up food tastings to being a friend to vent with to reccomending vendors and even making sure that I ate breakfast the day of- they were lifesavers! If something isn't perfect or exactly how you want it they will literally MAKE it perfect. Also, the fact that Jen is a practicing lawyer (yep! I told you they were awesome!) totally helps. She looks over every detail of every contract with every vendor. These wedding planners ask the questions you wouldnt even think to ask to make sure eveything goes smoothly. When I started planning our wedding I didnt even consider or think that I needed a wedding planner and now looking back I have no idea what we would have done without them. I became so overwhelmed with all the details and was completely stressed until I let Jenifer and Alexa step in and take over. They do all the busy work and take a huge weight off your shoulders so that the bride can actually enjoy her wedding. They are considerate, professional, and so protective of their brides. These girls did everything in their power to make sure the wedding was exactly what WE (the bride and groom) had dreamed our big day would be and more (because there can be a lot of opinions floating around!). These wedding planners are a must-have! They were high energy, always on top of things and what they do for you is priceless! I cant thank them enough.

    AMAZING!!

    They made our day go off without a hitch. Jen, Alexa, a husband, and several of their fabulous helping hands made our day flawless. They worked tirelessly for days to prep our venue, set up all the tables, linens, flowers, place settings, and probably another 500 things I didn't notice but made the day, venue, and wedding great. They washed dirty dishes, carried out presents, boxed our cake, truest they did it all! They made our special day beautiful and perfect, without me having to stress at all!

    I would recommend them without any reservation. They were so great!!!

    Jennifer and Alexa were both so wonderful to work with. Having 2 planners to talk to and help with planning was really beneficial because we always had someone to ask questions or get in touch with. Plus their day of servicing was amazing. Totally recommended!

    These girls were soo easy to work with and made planning a wedding a blast! They thought of everything! Every little detail was perfect!!!
