Jd is nothing more than a thief! He charged us thousands of dollars for our engagement and wedding pictures that were supposed to come in a package with albums and many other things. All we got was a dvd of the pics barely edited and we were supposed to get that within 6 weeks but it took 4 MONTHS just to get the DVD.... We have not seen any albums or anything else form the package for that matter. He refuses to return calls emails texts or facebook messages. He is the most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life. We will be taking him to court. Save yourself the headache dont give this guy any of your money!!!!!

Jd Mabry, owner of a fresh perspektiv, took pictures of my wedding event in April 2010. I still have not seen any of my pictures. He has emailed me twice, since April, stating he would give me my pictures in two weeks, it has been months later and I still have not received any of my photos. Jd Mabry has been paid in full and I have tried to contact him via phone, email, and facebook. He will not respond back to me. All I want is what belongs to me, my pictures. This is my wedding day, I cannot get those memories back, all I have are these photos, and the man I trusted to deliver them to me will not even contact me back and will not give me my photos. My wedding was in April, he has been given enough time and opportunity to contact me and make this right and he has not done so. JD, Please give me my wedding photos. All other brides, do not use JD as your photographer, you may not ever receive your photos, I still haven't gotten mine.

His work is beautiful and amazing, but his quality of service and responsivness was the worst I have every experianced. I could not get a hold of him after the wedding. I email and phoned and he finally got back to me a month later saying the proof would be on the site the next week. The next week they were still not there. Again, phone and email and never got a response. His site says that you will get your proof 30day or sooner. It was like this the whole time. Three month into it he said his was waiting on the lab and that is why the proofs are not on the site. He said he would give us the digital negatives for free and send them the next day. I called everyday with no answer or call back to find out the status. Well then a week later he sent them next day. When I received and viewed for the first time the negatives many pictures where missing. I tried getting a hold of him and he never called back or emai about missing pictures. Finally he sent an email say that he was waiting on the lab, then nothing again. Finally he said he was sending the rest the next day. Well the same thing, another week later he finally sent them. Well almost four month later after calling and email every day I have most but I still believe some are missing. He never called or anything. I email, I called, I was nice about the whole thing because I just wanted my pictures. I was afraid to be mean in fear that I would never see my pictures. Most brides I talked to said about the turn around for proof was 3 weeks, the longest was 4 weeks. I am at a 4month mark with him and still missing my print proof with him. Would not recommend his services even though his pictures are amazing, it was not worth the trouble, the stress and still no print proofs.

I had a lot of trouble finding a photographer that wasn't just some amateur taking pictures on the side! JD was recommended by a mutual friend. Unfortunately he was already booked for my wedding. He was able to take my engagement (or my "you and me") pictures. I am very camera shy and JD has a natural ability in helping a person relax to get great pictures. He was extremely professional without being a stiff. I had an idea of what type of pictures that I wanted and JD was able to exceed my expectations. He really knew what he was about with the camera. I really had a lot of fun during our session and I love my pictures. I had no trouble getting copy's of my proofs and he had my pictures up on his site within two weeks. I would recommend JD to anyone wanting original professional quality pictures. I will absolutely use JD for family photo's in the future. He is truly worth it!!! Love ya JD......Keri

JD Mabry Photography did our wedding photos in April of 2007 and our maternity photos in September of 2008. Both times we have used JD for these important events, he has been nothing but professional, responsive to our needs, and open to suggestion for different shots that we want. He loves to think 'outside the box' and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer to catch the memories of us just the way we are! JD is amazingly easy to work with. You don't have to feel uncomfortable about making special requests with him and he handles everything very professionally and makes every effort to make your special day everything you want!

He had our maternity photo proofs ready in just a week or two so we could get a large print of one to display at our Baby Shower! He has also done 'head shots' for my sister-in-law and many weddings and engagement shoots for our friends and everyone loves him....and his work!!

I always recommend JD Mabry Photography to everyone I know, whether it's for a wedding, engagement, family photos, maternity photos, pictures of your dog......whatever. He's the best!! My husband and I will always use JD Mabry Photography for all our special events. Our baby is due in 5 weeks and we are already planning our shoot with JD for baby's first portaits!

My wife and I used JD Mabry Photography for our wedding and, recently, our maternity photos. We both love working with him & his work is excellent every time! Even though our beach wedding turned out to be on the same day as the last freeze of the winter, he fought through the cold weather and made our wedding day look awesome!

He helped me relax and have fun during both photo sessions. This was especially important for the maternity photos, since my wife was the one with the belly and I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing :-) JD caught all the right moments on camera and was great at making us laugh and act naturally.
