I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT IVAN, HIS TALENT, OR HIS SERVICE!! FROM THE MOMENT I MET HIM, AT A FRIEND'S WEDDING, I KNEW I HAD TO HAVE HIM! ONCE I SAW HER PICTURES I WAS EVEN MORE SURE THAT HE WAS THE PHOTOGRAPHER I NEEDED! HIS PICTURES CAPTURE THINGS THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE. HE JUST HAS THAT EYE FOR BEAUTY. I THINK PICTURES ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE WEDDING BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONLY THING THAT LAST AND YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE YOU HIRE SOMEONE WHO WILL LEAVE THE BEST LASTING IMPRESSION!

There are truly no right words to describe Ivan's vision and skill when it comes to photography. He is remarkable!!! He manages to capture images that truly define the couples he works with. We were very fortunate and extremely happy to have him take our engagement pictures, which people still tell us how phenomenal and sexy they came out. And he photographed our wedding and did an even more beautiful job on it!! It brought tears to my eyes when he posted them on his blog. The images he captured showed the love and happiness my husband and I felt on our special day.
If you are looking for a nice, funny, professional photographer with truly creative genius at its best then Ivan is your man!! I highly recommend him to capture your special day :)

I wouldn't say that I chose to have Ivan photograph our wedding. Rather, we met him and I decided I NEEDED him there. It was reassuring to feel that I could trust him completely in regards to our photographs. Our package included two engagement sessions, something I didn't think we needed, but am now so glad we did. The engagement sessions provide you two an opportunity to get used to Ivan, and vice versa. I'd recommend them to anybody. I've already had an opportunity to view some of our wedding day photos (Ivan blogs all weddings and sessions within a few weeks), and I cant wait to see the rest of them. They came out beautifully, and I'm so happy I'll have these photos to cherish forever.

Ivan's work is absolutely beautiful! He is a great person to work with and definitely knows what he is doing! I have not seen the final product for my wedding, but if it is anything like our engagement photos, I know they will be beautiful! Our photo book we made from our engagement session was used as our guest album and it was great! It was a hit with our guests and we now have it to keep forever. :)

Ivan is exceptional! Our weddings photos are stunning, better than I could have ever thought. We had a tight budget for photography, but he worked with us anyways and was so generous with his time and talent. I felt like he was just as involved with the planning as our wedding planner! We were always talking about venues and picture ideas, and his input really helped shape our day. He even spent a few hours with us and our wedding planner at our "pre-wedding meeting" to make sure that our schedule for the day allowed us enough time to get the best pictures.

In addition to being a talented photographer, Ivan is also a wonderful person- definitely the kind of person that you want with you the day of your wedding. He did us so many favors along the way, and this made us feel like our wedding was really important to him (even though he does tons of them!) Thanks Ivan!

Edit- I have to add one more thing to my review. It's been a few weeks since we first saw our wedding pictures on Ivan's blog, and everyday my husband and I still look through them with the same excitement we had when we saw the pictures for the first time. Ivan captured our emotions very well, and I feel like I'm right back in that moment when i look at the photos. What more could a bride want?!

This was one of the easiest decision we made for the wedding, my fiance fell in love with him and so did I! He's so down to earth you feel relaxed when he's around. He's so flexible and his work is outstanding - it really speaks for itself. We wanted something fresh and young, because we're young and we got exactly what we wanted. Final images pending, I did get to see shots on his camera through out the night and I was amazed. He's really the best of the best and I cannot be happier with him!!

Our engagement sessions were more than I ever could have imagined, it was really a wonderful experience.

I don't have enough wonderful words to describe Ivan. We were introduced to Ivan through our wedding planner, Melissa Caceres of Events on a Budget (http://www.eventsonabudget.com). We first met him a few months after we got engaged for a complimentary engagement session (http://apfelphoto.com/2010/08/01/ashely-alexs-engagement-session/), which was so much fun. He quickly realized my fiance and I weren't the best posers, so he ended up taking great shots of the two of us just having fun and laughing, which is what we do best. :)

And our wedding photos... I can't stop looking at them. They're beautiful. He captured every moment as I remembered it and I'm especially impressed by the moments that he captured that I don't even remember because I was either too nervous, trying not to cry or having too much fun. I knew he was there snapping pictures, but at the same time I didn't notice he was there. My husbnd and I were able to have the time of our lives without feeling like our photographer was in the way. I love his work so much I've even promised to see if I can pull some strings and get him to come to Colombia with us whenever we plan our second wedding (my husband's family is in Colombia and couldn't make it to the U.S.).

Ivan was the photographer for my daughter's wedding on 2/26/11. He did an incredible job! The photos are gorgeous and we have had so many compliments on them. He did an excellent job of capturing all the emotions of the day- the tears and the laughter! He is a true professional- he arrived on time, was very unobtrusive during the day, and took the most amazing pictures.
