I would have went crazy if Janelle hadn't had been there at my wedding! She saved the day when so many little things were happening at the last minute. She is for sure a pro! I highly recommend Janelle for your wedding in the Virgin Islands!

No details were forgotten or overlooked, and she was very responsive which put my mind at ease. From the location and setup at Lime Tree Beach to the amazing reception at Sunset Grill, everything was perfect and the vendors she recommended were top notch. Janelle was awesome. She was always so quick to respond and really made my life a lot easier when it came to the ceremony. The flowers were beautiful! I paid a little extra to have Orange Lilies in my bouquet and the florist incorporated them in all my maids bouquets also - It just really added a special touch for me and made me so happy. Stuart was our officiant and let me say, he was amazing! I read really good reviews about him but he went above and beyond. He makes the ceremony so personal and special and makes you laugh. Joey and I could not be more pleased with our wedding ceremony and it's all thanks to Janelle & Stuart.

I can't even begin to put into words how AMAZING Island Bliss Weddings is. It was truely a dream come true and I wouldn't of changed a thing. Janelle helped to plan the most perfect and beautiful wedding for my daughter and son-in-law at Lindquist Beach followed by a great reception at Havana Blue last weekend. All of her suggestions made it a special and unique Caribbean wedding that all of our 55 guests will long remember. We initially tried to plan the wedding on our own, but contacted Janelle when we were having problems nailing down the details of the wedding. Janelle was easy to contact and responded promptly to all e-mails. She made great suggestions for entertainment, site location and vendors and handled all of the communication and invoicing. Her fee was definitely affordable and well worth the peace of mind in knowing that the details were taken care of. For instance, we wanted champagne and water following the beach ceremony while we listened to music. Janelle arranged for a great violinist and harpist for the beach ceremony (Chris Robbert and Jesus) and set up a table with various cold champagnes and bottles of water- imagine the hassle of doing that yourself! All of the vendors she recommended were amazing and professional. Janelle truly allowed all of us to just enjoy the happiness and beauty of this special day while knowing that all details were taken care of.

I found Island Bliss Weddings by doing a search on the Internet. They were very quick in responding to my questions via email. They were also very knowledgable about the wedding sites, photographers, and they recommended a wonderful restuarant for lunch on the island. They also made it very easy to apply for and obtain the marriage license. They picked us up from our cruise ship and drove us to the court house and to the wedding site (Brewer's Beach - beautiful) and then back to our ship. They even customized our wedding vows and told the story of how we met. Our overall experience was excellent! We highly recommend their services!

We got married on April 4, 2012 in St Thomas , USVI on Lindquist beach. First off Janelle and Stu are AWESOME. Janelle provided great communication throughout the months leading to our special day. She had everything in order and in place once we arrived. Stu was there waiting as soon as we got of the ship. He is a great guy. Gave us a little of the island history as we drove to the courthouse. Janelle did an outstanding job setting up the ceremony location on the beach. She is a very sweet and genuine person. It was absolutely breathtaking. Stu did an exceptional job officiating our wedding ceremony. Everything was perfect!!!! From the ride to the courthouse, to my bouquet, the set up , ceremony, location, Janelle, Stu...I wouldn't change a thing about this day. Thanks Janelle and Stu. This was truly the best day of our lives. Island Bliss if definitely they ONLY way to go if you are looking for the perfect wedding.

Hello Janelle!

I would like to take a moment to say “THANK YOU” So Very much!!! We are extremely happy about the way our wedding day went and are still floating on clouds about it!!

Stu did a spectacular job with the ceremony and sermon!!! Everyone was in tears about it and asked if we wrote it ourselves, as it was so heartfelt and personal! He was just wonderful about everything – we fell in love with him immediately!

Kim was wonderful also and was very helpful! She was so nice and very patient with everyone.

Don, the Steel Pan Man, was GREAT!! (Actually, I kept calling him “Dan, the steel pan man”, but I think his name is actually Don?? Right?) Funny story: We met him the night before the wedding, at Iggies. I couldn’t get enough of him!! I said to Ryan, “Wouldn’t it be awesome if we show up at the wedding tomorrow, and Don is our steel pan guy?” Well, apparently, my father-inlaw talked with Don a lot that night and discovered that Don WOULD Indeed be our guy at the wedding – but they decided to keep it a secret and let us be surprised. They devised a plan that they would become best friends and then at the wedding, my father-inlaw, Doug, would introduce us to Don and then proceed to educate us all about Don and his custom made drums.... So that is exactly what happened!! It was SO cool!! My only disappointment was being too busy to really spend enough time with those steel pans! Funny how one’s head can become so frozen with everything going on, that you can barely remember your own name, let alone “Focus” on any one thing! HA!! By the time we finished with photography, Don was long gone (We should had paid to keep him there another hour!!) Do you know if he has his own CD available?? We would LOVE to purchase a copy of Don and his steel pans! We highly recommend having steel pans at a beach wedding!

Brooke, from Simple Island Photograpy, took our photo’s that day and was excellent! She was very down to earth and comfortable to work with! I pray she can make ‘me’ look ‘good’ in the photo’s!! Ha! I’m not a photogenic person, unfortunately, so the poor girl had her work cut out for her that day.

You truly have a GREAT team at Island Bliss Weddings and you absolutely deserve all those awards of recognition! Planning a wedding 2,000 miles away, without ever having been there, is a bit scary! You made it seem easy and we would recommend your group to anyone thinking about a beach/island wedding!! We are convinced it’s the ONLY way to go!!

Mike and I wanted to thank you so much for the beautiful wedding you put on for us on Valentine’s Day. Everything was more than perfect! You are an expert at what you do and I cannot begin to tell you how much you are appreciated in our world. The attention to detail was more than anyone could ask for. The limo driver was there waiting for us as we got off the ship, and my what a limo it was…we felt like royalty. The gentleman who met us at the courthouse was so wonderful, we never could have made it without him. The preacher was perfect, the setting was incredible! So so very beautiful…we were at awe with all of it and so were our friends. It was agreed that this was by far the most romantic wedding any of us had ever attended in our lifetime, and I feel so lucky that it was Mike and my wedding…we are blessed. The bouquet was over the top Janelle. I know the roses were very expensive and you made sure that the bouquet matched my dress so perfect, and it did! Denene & I arrived back in New York yesterday from our cruise and wanted to take the opportunity to thank the both of you for making our wedding such a success. Janelle, I want to apologize that I never got a chance to thank you and say goodbye last Thursday (however I needed to go to the bathroom...LOL).

Stuart was an absolute pleasure to deal with and he made Denene's comfort level a very strong one. From the moment he picked us up at the ship the day could not have gone any smoother. Being that Stuart heard that Denene was never in St Thomas before, he also gave us a tour of the island on the way back to the ship which was great. In fact, he even offered to wait for us at the ship if we wanted to get changed and then go shopping on the island. We did our "homework" while searching for a company to handle our wedding and to be honest you guys performed over & beyond our expectations. This will be a day Denene & I will never forget and please know that the 2 of you will always be a part of it.

Janelle is AMAZING. She is the most responsive person you will ever work with. When you are having a wedding in the islands, people tend to take longer to respond...it's the way of life. But not Janelle. I kept asking Janelle, have I sent you emails more than any other bride you have worked with. She said I was up there, and she would always respond in a very timely manner...sometimes within minutes. It can be difficult planning a wedding at a place you have never been to, but she made sure everything went smoothly. She gives you a list of vendors she recommends, but you do not have to choose them. However, I recommend that you do. Everyone we worked with did an amazing job. Everything was perfect. Janelle's husband, Stu, married us, and we loved him as well. He did a fabulous job, and you would have thought we had known them for years. He made to sure to include special touches to the ceremony such as talking about our dog, Gus! It felt like we had known Janelle and Stu for years. I am going to miss working with Janelle, and when I come back to St. Thomas I want to make sure we can meet up with them again. Also, the wedding cake we got through Janelle was the best cake I ever had--lemon cake and coconut. Amazing. I really cannot say enough nice things about Island Bliss Weddings. Janelle stayed at the wedding for almost the entire evening. It was so great to have someone there to help out so that I didn't have to.

Janelle helped with my daughter's wedding on Dec. 3, 2011. She is most professional. Gave us the perfect contacts needed to make the day special. She always answered all my e-mails quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Janelle for all your wedding needs! Thank you so much!

A huge thank you to Janelle Scott for making our wedding an amazing day! Organizing our wedding from a distance wouldn't have been possible without Janelle and her organizational skills and abilities. She was always willing to answer questions via email, phone, and at all hours. Janelle took care of our venue setup (tables, center pieces, favors, and much more). Janelle delivered all flowers to the hotels for us and her and her husband set up an incredible display of rum punch and waters at Megan's Bay following our Ceremony at St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. We just had our wedding on Nov. 14, 2011. Everything went perfect. Janelle is a professional, she was very responsive to all requests and questions, she is amazing. She helped with finding hair salon ( lady came to make my hair in the hotel), helped with restaurant. She is an expert. She also ordered photographer and vidiographer for us, proposed to help with transportation arrangements.

I was so happy to have found Janelle and Stu. I thought planning a wedding from such a distance (New Hampshire) would be somewhat difficult but this was not that case. Janelle and I were in touch via email for an entire year planning the big day! Every detail, from the Welcome Party at Iggies, transportation, flowers, ceremony, DJ, and reception set up at Oceana, was taken care of. Kimberly was our onsite wedding coordinator for the day She was wonderful. Stu officiated our cermony and it was just perfect.

Not only were Jay and I super please with EVERYTHING, our 50 guests had an absolute blast!

We wanted a no-frills private ceremony at the beach with just the two of us and searched the web for a reasonably-priced wedding planner. After a couple of email inquiries we decided to book Island Bliss Weddings' Sweet Memories package, which is the cheapest they have, and was pretty competitive with all the other wedding planners out there. Janelle was very responsive and efficient, and although all our correspondence was through email only, everything went exactly as planned. They took care of filing the paperwork at the courthouse, and getting certified copies to you after, so it's pretty stress-free. Note that the fee for the marriage license is extra (you need to provide a cashier's check), and so is the site fee for the beach payable in cash when you get there (we went to Lindquist Beach for $100). The budget photography was also extra, so make sure to factor those costs in when comparing prices. Since we got the cheapest package we weren't expecting much, to be honest, but we were pleasantly surprised by the VIP treatment we got from Stuart (our officiant who also drove us). Transportation was included in the package, and it was a white BMW X5, which was excellent (my husband is a BMW fan so the ride put him in a good mood!). I almost didn't book a photographer, because we really didn't want a lot of fuss, but I'm so glad I did! Our photographer was Brooke and she was very warm and made us feel at ease right away. We got our pictures in a CD in the mail after about 5 weeks and our pictures were so lovely, all our friends and family have been raving about them. It's definitely worth the investment, it brought us back to that day. Honestly the ceremony goes by so fast that I can barely remember it all now, so it's nice to have the pictures to look back on. Stuart also did a great job of personalizing our ceremony. When we arrived on the beach, he took my then fiancé aside to talk about how we met, how he proposed, etc (I was being photographed while this was going on). And then he weaved our story into the ceremony, which made it feel even more special. Overall we had a great experience with Island Bliss Weddings. Even though I have only "talked" to Janelle over email and never in fact met her (our package did not include on-the-day coordination), our wedding was exactly as we envisioned it. We highly recommend Janelle, Stuart and Brooke for couples who are considering a destination wedding at US VI!
