It was a pleasure doing business with Icing for Joy! Our initial meeting went smoothly and the cake tasting was fabulous, we actually had a hard time choosing the flavor of cake because the sample cakes were all so delicious! I changed my cake design a couple of times and Irene was always accomodating to my needs. The cake was beautifuly decorated and very moist, we were more than pleased. Many of our guests commented on how great our carrot cake with buttercream icing wedding cake tasted, they actually wanted seconds.

I would highly recommend Icing for Joy to anyone looking for a beautifuly designed and delicious cake.

Angela and Irene did an amazing job on our wedding cake, groom's cake, and rehearsal dinner cupcakes! We went to their in-home open house after finding them on weddingwire and loved their designs. Once we tasted the cakes we were hooked (my husband couldn't say no, especially since they kept giving him chocolate cake; in his eyes it was pretty much a done deal). The cakes, fillings, and icings were delicious, the designs were amazing, and Angela's sugar flowers are impressive. To top it off, their prices are very reasonable.

Angela and Irene did an amazing job on our cake!! It was exactly what I wanted. Their cakes are so delicious and beautiful. I fell in love when I first tasted their cakes at a Washington Bridal Showcase and every flavor was to die for. None of the other cakes there compared. We then went to a tasting in their home and they were so generous with their samples. Irene was quick to respond to every email which was the best way for me to communicate with all of my vendors. I highly recommend them!

Everyone from Icing for Joy was very friendly, very helpful. They made it really easy in ordering the cake we wanted. No stress. Irene was right there responding back to my e-mails, and had answers to any of my questions. The cake was not only beautiful, but tasted great! We have recieved nothing but compliments on the cake, for the design (we had a beach theme) and the quality of the cake. Everyone wanted to know who did our cake and I proudly told them, Icing for Joy.
I would definitly use them again for any next event.

Our wedding cake was so beautiful! We got alot of compliments on the cake. Irene was helpful throughout the whole process so I didn't have to worry about the cake. The cake tasted great-the only thing is that the cake was a little hard to cut when we had the cake cutting at the reception. I would use them again in the future-Thanks again!
