We used the bakery at the 84 & Holdrege Hy-Vee. The baker was friendly and open to our ideas. The night before our wedding she called me and said that due to the crazy humidity the icing was melting down the cake. They offered to give me a cake with fondant icing to replace the currently-melting buttercream cake for the same price. I felt bad for the extra work they had to go through, but was impressed by their desire to give me a perfect cake. I was happy to accept the more expensive fondant cake at the price of the buttercream. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious.

I bought my wedding cake from the HyVee at 84th and Holdrege in Lincoln, NE. They actually had lost my order but luckily I checked back about 2 1/2 weeks before my wedding. I was so impressed with how they handled the problem that I cannot have any hard feelings toward them. I was immediately called by the cake decorator who apologized over and over and reassured me that I would have a beautiful wedding cake. She then offered me several discounts which really made the cake a great deal. It turned out SO beautiful and I got many compliments on it. I would definitely recommend their cakes - they were very tasty and very beautiful!

I think the thing I was looking foward to the most out of all the planning, was my cake. I really LOVE cake! They worked with me on ideas that I had and pictures that I had brought with me. In the end, it turned out bettr than I thought it was going to. It was also VERY good. we recieved many compliments on it both for how it tasted and how pretty it was!

The flowers were beautiful! And the florists were great to work with! My husband and I chose the one on North 27th Street.
The cake was also beautiful and tasted amazing. They have different flavors of cake and different types of frosting to choose from. However, it was difficult to coordinate a time of delivery between HyVee and our reception site.

They worked well with my plans, because I was having a family member add the details/decerate the cakes. They cut off part of the price because I was only having them frost it white. They charged me one dollor per piece.

HyVee was very professional and flexable. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL and the cake was moist and perfect.

Both the florists and baker at HyVee on N 27th street were excellent! I would have expected less from them, simply because they were a grocery store. But I was amazed! And was so happy with the results! They did everything just how I wanted it and the prices were FANTASTIC!

We loved the butter-cream frosting. Cake ended up looking smaller than I would have liked, but it was still delicious!
