Hy-Vee did such a great job on our food! We used them for rehearsal dinner and the reception. Everyone loved the pasta bar, there was lots of variety. The staff was wonderful, we were very impressed!
I thought initially that HyVee was limited in there abilities to produce wedding cakes, and that all there cakes look the same, but I was amazed When I couldn't find a cake that I liked in there example books, they suggested I go home and look online for a picture of a cake that I liked and bring it to them. I brought them the picture, went over details I wanted to change, and discussed how many cake servings I needed. Two months later I had the most beautiful wedding cake that was exactly what I asked for.
Hyvee was very helpful and everything turned out great. The Chinese Buffet was beautiful and very fresh. The staff that waited the tables was attentive and they even provided water with a lemon for all the tables, chopsticks, and fortune cookies at no additional charge. The flowers were absolutely beautiful very fresh and the arrangements they made were awesome, they followed exactly what we had discussed. The cake was also beautiful and they had no problem making each tier a different flavor. The best part is that by doing the cartering, flowers, and cake with Hyvee, I got 10 % off each service.
