It's hard to put into words how great it was having Kay! I am so glad we hired Kay as our "day-of coordinator" because I couldn't have kept my sanity without her. She is very responsive to emails, and goes above and beyond her duties. Even though she was our "day-of coordinator" she was very responsive to questions/ideas through the whole planning process. I was able to be stress-free the day of our wedding knowing that anything that might come up, she'd handle it - and she did! Even when there were bumps in the road, she did everything she could to rectify the situation and make me feel at ease. She went out of her way to make our wedding exactly what we wanted, and I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator! The cost is definitely worth it!

Kay and her team are great to work with! She is organized, professional, honest (in a good way), and very easy to work with. If you can spring for the full planning services that would be your best bet. Having her involved from Day 1 of planning woudl have been more helpful for me, but I wasn't aware of her services until later in my planning.

Having a planner involved, like Kay, made all the difference in my stress levels on the big day. I was able to truly enjoy all the moments, my guests, all the personal touches that I set out, etc. They are fabulous!!!

Kay had me at hello! her and her gracious team swooped in when I was completely over my head and took the reigns. The comfort and peace of mind they provided for the cost is an unbelievable steal.

Kay is so personable and professional. We loved her and have recommended her to our friends for their wedding planning. Our wedding details were perfect thanks to her and the wedding day was MORE perfect than I had ever imagined! Kawania Wooten is a fabulous wedding planner! She works with your budget, gets a sense of your style from a one hour meeting, and goes way beyond her call of duty, and for the price you cannot beat her and her team's services. I would use her again for sure.

I don't even know where to start about Kay. Well, she's amazing, but there are specific reasons why:

1) *She is a friend*: Probably like many brides, I thought that I didn't need a wedding coordinator since I am relatively anal, a micromanager and love Excel spreadsheets. From the minute we met Kay during our consultation I knew we could not survive without her. But not because she infuses your wedding with her personal opinions but because she is a good friend and a great listener. She gets to know you and because of her years of experience can synthesize and organize your wedding to perfection, which leads to my next point that...

2) *She is a resource*: Because she has been in the business for a while, she can give excellent, vetted vendor recommendations. Our DJ, florist, makeup/hair stylists, transportation, etc were all Kay's recommendations - it made the process so much easier and hassle-free (a great thing when you are juggling so many wedding planning balls)

3) *She is a guide*: I literally had no clue what I wanted and had never imagined what my wedding day would be like. Probably a nightmare to work with, Kay never showed it - she was patient, listened and provides great guidelines, timelines and task lists for how to plan your wedding. She walks you through everything and makes you feel totally organized. When you start to feel overwhelmed with everything, she steps in and does her magic.

Maybe that is my #4: *She is a magician*.
Whatever it was, she is definitely a must-have person on your wedding team. I would recommend her without hesitation and would love to work with her anytime. I already miss our weekly check-ins.

Howerton+Wooten Events did a wonderful job at cordinating our wedding. Kay provided wonderful advice along the weddng planning process. The day of the wedding she had everything under control. If anything went wrong I didn't notice because Kay is excellent at what she does. We got so many complements on how great our wedding was and I know I owe all of that to Kay.

The people at Howerton + Wooten Events, LLC were an ABSOLUTE LIFESAVER. I think the greatest gift they gave me was allowing both my husband and I, and our parents, to simply ENJOY THE DAY. I did not have to spend my time thinking...."did the cake get there?"....."is the DJ all set?"....."are the limos where they need to be?" I could just be a bride on my wedding day....what a concept!!!

The other item I am very grateful for, and I pray that another bride does not have to go through this, but in the 8 months up to my wedding, I had two close family members pass away. My Grandfather passing 3 weeks prior to the big day. The fact that I could set my wedding planning completely aside, and not have spend a second worrying about missing anything important was an absolute blessing.
