Jamie was absolutely amazing. He helped in so many different ways and thought of things that we had never thought of. He is a very inventive person and he really did make the night! Everyone loved him and came up to my husband and I asking "Where did you find this guy? Can I have his card?" He is really worth every penny spent!

We were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from Jamie of Houserockers DJ and HIGHLY recommend him for any event needing a DJ!
Our first experience with Houserockers was at a wedding near DuBois PA in June 2005 - the DJ was FANTASTIC! The DJ was energetic, professional, kept everyone dancing and involved and having a fantastic time all night long. My (now) husband and I both agreed that we wanted this service for our wedding in the future.
A year later we were engaged and the first vendor I called was Houserockers to try to reserve our date - they were already booked. Jamie told us he was available the following weekend and at first we were reluctant to move the date. After discussing it we decided that having a fantastic DJ who would ensure our guests had a blast was extremely important to us so we moved our wedding date & booked Houserockers. We were NOT disappointed!!! :)
Our wedding was on June 14th in DuBois PA. Jamie did our ceremony music as well as our reception. We had several phone conversations, emails and a sit down meeting to discuss the details of the day such as what "special" songs to play for the first dance, cake cutting, grand entrances etc. Jamie helped us talk through decisions about how may songs to pick for cocktail hour, dinner music, types of music we wanted played through the night. We discussed his level of involvement with the reception, for example did we want him to just play music and make announcements when they were needed or do we want him to be out there getting people moving and having fun out on the dance floor with any level of involvement in between!
The day of our wedding it POURED rain and we had an outside ceremony planned. I was sad to have to move my ceremony indoors but Jamie came to the rescue - he made some suggestions as to how we could use the reception venue for the ceremony and it worked out BEAUTIFULLY! I was so happy that he was there and was right on top of things and quick to make a few simple suggestions when I needed it most. :)
He coordinated with the bridal party so they knew to watch for him for their cues to walk in (since we didn't have any additional wedding planner to help with that) and gave clever ideas on how they could come in during grand entrances that made for fantastic photos!
Our reception rocked all night and most of our guests stayed late and were on the dance floor the whole night thanks to Jamie's energy and eye/ear for what the crowd needs!
The very best part, and one of the most special memories we have of our reception, something that was ENTIRELY Jamie's idea was that during our grand entrances all of our guests gathered around the dance floor in a circle - my husband and were announced, he made a short speech that led into our first dance and because Jamie had our guests come to the dance floor - they circled us, arm in arm, swaying and watching our first dance. We were totally circled by everyone we love and hold dear during our first dance as husband and wife. It is very hard to put into words but I get goosebumps just trying :) People usually watch the first dance from their seats, maybe talk during the dance or not pay attention at all but as we danced and turned we could see the smiling, joyful-tear streaked faces of everyone special in our lives. It is a moment I will never forget - it was beautiful and special and we have amazing pictures of the moment and we have Jamie Simpson of Houserockers DJ to thank!
Our guests still comment on how much fun they had at our wedding (4 months later) and some said it was the most fun they ever had at a reception!
We can't say enough good things about our experience with Houserockers DJ!

Jamie Simpson of Houserockers was amazing!!! People are still talking about him 8 months after our wedding. He gave us exactly what we wanted and so much more. He was open to our ideas and was able to tweak them to make the evening a blast! I was so busy dancing that I didn't get a drink the whole night! We had a blast, it was a dream come true...Jamie helped us achieve this in every way! I would recommend him to anyone, anywhere...he is fabulous!
