We ordered our cake from Honeymoon Sweets. We were thrilled with how the cake turned out. We had so many compliments on the cake and it tasted delicious!!! I only had one negative experience with the company. We ordered our cake approximately 6 months before the wedding. They charged us $40 to place the flowers on the cake. However, the week before the wedding when I called to confirm I was told that the charge to add flowers had gone up (I think $60). I informed the employee that I had it in my contract that I was only to pay $40. I guess it's a good thing I kept a copy of my original contract. In the end, they honored my original price. Overall, the cake tasted wonderful and it looked amazing.

We loved our wedding cake! The cake was elegant (whipped cream frosting topped with red roses). It was moist and absolutely delicious! A great cake for a wonderful price. We would recommend again.

The cake was really good. I gave Honeymoon Sweets a photo from a magazine and they recreated it to look even better.

My cake taste bad and I didn't have a great experience with the employees. It was ready on time and looked like I wanted it to but the taste and experience with the employees was not a good.

Our cake was beautiful and tasty...Honeymoon Sweets was so attentive to our every need, I never had a doubt about whether the cake would be good or delivered on time. Thanks so much Honeymoon Sweets. I can't wait until our anniversary so we can eat the final layer! :)

Our cake was absolutely beautiful! It was just as I had requested. The little bit I actually got to eat was awesome, unfortunately I was just too busy to sit and eat a slice. We have full intentions of having them duplicate the top layer for us on our 1st anniversary (ours got smooshed due to no ones fault but or own).

The cake was affordable and everyone thought it was incredible:) Heidi's catering included it in my contract and delivered it as well!

The cake was beautiful and delicious. We weren't overly pleased with the lack of assortment you get during the tasting process but the end result was great!

The cake was amazing. they truly deliver amazing flavors and beauty. The cake wasn't dry like some wedding cake is. it was moist and the flavor was great. they decorated it perfectly and i was so happy with their work.

We were driving by the bakery and walked in and asked a few questions. They were able to do a small cake tasting. We were very pleased. My sister had used them for a few of her parties and the cakes were delicious. We went ahead and ordered our cake a week later. They were very nice and provided excellent customer service especially since we did not have an appointment. On the day of our wedding, the cake was a little dry. The cake was beautiful and some of our guest did not notice it but some did. Some of our other guest and family who had HS cake in the past mentioned it was a little dry as well but still good.. The cake was really dry and I thought it was because it was a bigger cake. When I returned the cake plate I mentioned it to the staff. They asked what they could do and suggested an anniversary cake which would not work for us since we were moving. The sales rep said she would talk to the owner and asked that I call her back. When I did call they refunded me some of the money. I was very pleased and did not expect that. Overall I would still use them again. I went to a few other places and this place was the best in regards to customer service and cakes. I think maybe I just had a bad batch, I would use them again and I know my family will still use them.

I loved my cake, the cake testing was a lot of fun, and was just very happy with my finished product. Definitely recommend.

Honeymoon Sweets was one of two bakery options through the venue we chose for our wedding. We ordered two cakes; the main wedding cake and a surprise groom's cake. The cakes were delicious and looked beautiful! I am extremely picky when it comes to cakes, so I was very pleased with how beautiful the wedding cake turned out and how delicious the fondant was on the groom's cake. We ordered the following flavors:
Vanilla cake with vanilla Bavarian cream and fresh strawberries
Chocolate cake with caramel mousse and espresso mouse
Red velvet cake with cream cheese filling

Prior to the wedding day, I did find myself somewhat frustrated with this vendor for the following reasons:
-Tried to book tasting, but was told they didn't have any openings, when I asked about booking a later date, they said they couldn't open the calendar for later dates.
-Once I booked a tasting, I was called the week of the tasting and told they wanted to cancel. This was very irritating since I had to go through hell just to book the appointment.
-The week that the final payment was due, I received 4 phone calls from HS confirming my order and wanting to know if they could charge my cc. I said they could charge my cc the first time, so I don't understand why I received 3 more phone calls regarding this issue.

The cakes were really good and look amazing in photographs, so overall I am pleased with this vendor.

Honeymoon sweets did everything and more then what i expected. Two days before my wedding i took my wedding topper in for them and decided i wanted a groom's cake. There was no hesitation. They did an amazing job with the wedding and the grooms cake.

Alright. This one is hard. I wanted to give them somewhat decent feedback because in the end, they really worked with us.

When I went to the initial appointment, nothing was going right. They wouldn't do the flowers I wanted because they weren't natural. They wouldn't do the colors I wanted for another reason. It was one thing after another. I caved and went with different flowers and reversed colors. I also wasn't willing to add $200 to the cost of the cake for sugar flowers. Seems steep to me.

I had also asked for a groom's cake at the appointment and was told I should email them design ideas. That was a bit anoying because I was hoping they would draw out an idea from what I said. But I emailed them a little later with pictures and explanations. I never heard back about it.

Later on, I was told we didn't have enough guests for three layers like originally planned. I asked if they could do a fake layer to make it look right (I only cared because I wanted both flavors for guests and to keep the top layer). But they don't do fake layers. Bummer.

I wound up asking my mother to drop off the ribbon and she talked to them about the groom's cake and additional layers. They apologized and worked with her on the groom's cake. It turned out fabulous. Absolutely amazing. The wedding cake however did not have the flowers we had agreed on, but I stopped caring. It still looked nice.

The taste however, was not as great as the tasting was. I was disappointed. I would still recommend them, just not for a wedding.

Honeymoon sweets was part of our wedding package through the hotel and they were very helpful in selecting the flavors and cake. We chose some add-ons such as ribbon and flowers which turned out great. The shop could get hectic at times when they are preparing for an event but for the most part everyone was very helpful.
