Vicky was my planner for my wedding this past weekend and she was fantastic in handling all the details so that my parents, groom and I could really just be guests at the wedding. I hired Vicky for partial planning services so she started about 7 weeks before my event. My wedding had a lot of little details and Vicky was able to come in, learn all the details and rarely missed any of them. After a few discussions I did not have to micromanage her and she kept everything that was within her control on time the day of. The biggest help was when I learned an hour after he was supposed to arrive, that my hairdresser was not going to show up that day. Before I'd even ended the call with that hairdresser Vicky was on the phone to another hairdresser and had her there in a few hours. That moment will forever endear Vicky to me! If you're looking for a planner that you can trust to allow you to just be a guest at the wedding, will keep everything on time, and will be there for you during a wedding day crisis, Vicky is the one for you!

Vicky and her team are AWESOME!!! There aren't words to truly express all that she added to this experience. She made sure we were on point with our deadlines and that we didn't bite off more than we could chew. Instead of just being a "yes person". She made sure we understood the reality of the budget and the meaning of the day. Also I know she had a busy schedule but we never felt like we were being overlooked or neglected.

When Hubby and I got engaged we really didn't have a full grasp of how big a project it was to plan a wedding. Given it took over almost all of my free time, but we still led ourselves to believe that we could do it without the help of a wedding planner--but than we started to think about the actual day, and we didn't want to have to worry on our wedding and we didn't want to make our moms or friends either, so we looked into DOC. Patricia at Holy Matrimony was a blessing--if you read my other reviews--she helped in just so many ways. She was the one who realized our liquor license fiasco and worked to fixing that, she was on top of everything and so organized it was amazing. MY husband and I were totally care free on our wedding day, and everybody kept telling me i was the calmest bride they had ever seen--the main reason for that was because of Patricia. I would recommend her and vicky and the whole holy matrimony team to anyone! A++!

Vicky and Candace were absolutely instrumental in the planning of my wedding. Honestly and truly, it could not have happened without them as things had gotten so hectic at times that my wedding was chosen to be on television for "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" From start to finish, we were able to pull off a wedding that (at times) seemed like it couldn't possibly happen. There were some snafus but all were taken in stride and my husband and I were able to enjoy the the day without having deal with any stress or hassle of any of the crazy things that were going on. I knew from the beginning that I needed help making my wedding happen but I had no idea just how badly I needed Holy Matrimony's services.

My Advice for all Brides go for quality:

From the never ending search for a venue, to the 400 + guest list, it wouldn't have been possible without your coordination! The wedding was perfect, especially the ceremony, it ran like clock work. Everything turned out beautifully. During the reception my coordinator (Vicky Johnson) called the shots so that I could just enjoy the night with guests. Wedding planning is not easy, and she does it with style.

Additionally, after the wedding she doesn’t just drop you. She follows up. Returning left over items from the reception (i.e. My Bridesmaids Shoes – which we thought were lost). Coordinating the photographers, gown preservation, bouquet preservation, and she lets you know that if you need anything - call her. The wedding doesn’t end after the reception for Holy Matrimony it ends when everything is done down to the thank you notes, and post wedding announcements.

To anyone who needs a wedding coordinator, Vicky is the one and her team at Holy Matrimony can’t be beat.
