Elizabeth was amazing. She was with us throughout the process which was wonderful and very helpful since we were planning from out of town. The views in the space were amazing and you could see fireworks going off. Our guests thought we had planned it. :)

This is a beautiful Hotel with a great location and at an affordable price.

On the other hand, the events coordinator is the most frustrating person I have ever worked with. For example, I would e-mail her with let's say 5 questions or things that needed to be taken care of and she would reply about 2 of the things. I would have to re email her every time to remind her that I needed the other three things answered. Wedding planning is stressful and I feel like she only added to the problem. I had to remind her of promises she made to me. For example, a week before the wedding she said "you are providing linens for the tables, right?". We had established from the beginning that the hotel would provide linens. One of my bridesmaids had to call the hotel manager to get linens for the reception. In fact, I think I was lucky because my Maid of Honor is a lawyer and one of my bridesmaids is an events coordinator for the Capital Hill Hilton in DC, so I was able to let them keep her in line and didn't have to worry to much. Another thing that upset me, there was a Christmas tree in the ballroom that looked like a 3rd grader had decorated it. All the other Christmas trees in the hotel were gorgeous, but this one looked like they had thrown all the left over ornaments on it. Well I asked Elizabeth if we could redecorate it or move it out. She blatantly said "no". So I had to have the ugly tree at my reception.

Also, The rooms in the hotel are rather small and they don't have a honeymoon suite or room.

If you are willing to put up with a frustrating events coordinator, then I would recommend this Hotel. It is very nice and every one else on the staff was helpful.
