    I worked with Joe Mahra to hold a block of rooms for out of town guests, and to book a suite for myself for the night before, and the groom and I for the wedding night. The rooms were clean, bright and well-appointed for the price ($99.00 plus tax), and the staff were very professional and friendly. The suite was wonderful, and it was great to be close to all the out of town guests. Everyone was able to find it easily (as it is located right off a major highway), and it was an easy ride from the hotel to the venue.

    Shuttle service/wedding room discount nightmare

    Our venue had a promotion with the holiday inn that if we had 10 rooms book under our discount we would receive a free shuttle service. We easily got the 10 rooms + but we kept running into issues where our guests would be told they won’t receive the discount... we had to call a couple times inquiring why there was problems. We were told it was a “training issue”. Fast forward 3 months and some guests had the same issue. The coordinator was unresponsive and getting information about how the shuttle worked was extremely difficult. Out of all the wedding planning the hotel was the most stressful part. Very displeased with them.
