Working with the ladies at Hitched was such a pleasure. I never felt pressured and they offered great advice. Everyone is super friendly and the customer service is fantastic. The whole process was easy and not stressful. I am so unbelievably happy with my dress and veil purchases. I felt wonderful on my wedding day!

I had all my fittings done at Hitched as well and the tailor was wonderful to work with.

I tried on a lot of wedding dresses at a lot of places and got to the point where I was just ready to buy something to stop looking. The hitched sales person had the presence of mind to tell me that she thought I was not ready to buy a dress yet and I should go home, think it over and come back. I am so glad that I listened to her advice! I changed the style of dress that I was looking at full circle to what I had originally wanted and came back to Hitched refreshed and clear-headed. I ended up picking out an entirely new dress that I had not previously tried on and loving it! Since my dress was a fitted style Hitched also threw in a free muslin fitting and the final dress came in being very close to ready to walk down the aisle as a result! Although I went a little bit over my budget, it was the dress of my dreams and many people at the wedding commented in all seriousness that it was the most beautiful wedding dress that they had ever seen. Hitched was great at working with me to find what worked and to make me a beautiful bride!

I LOVE the girls at Hitched. They were so easy to work with and so excited about my wedding...I felt like they were my girlfriends! My dress was absolutely stunning and they helped me choose shoes, accessories, and a veil that perfected the whole look. I'm sending all my friends to Hitched!

I would definitely recommend Hitched for wedding dresses. I worked with Katie and she was extremely helpful and supportive during the entire process. They were very patient, as it took me a while to make most decisions about the dress and each alteration, they gently guided me throughout the process. I got married the weekend after Hurricane Sandy and the owner personally called me to assure me that my last fitting would happen and when the store would re-open, which relieved a lot of anxiety. I loved my dress and my experience at Hitched!

This was by far the best experience with a vendor!! I began shopping for my wedding gown 17 months before the wedding and had a good idea of they style I was looking for. I scheduled an appointment at Hitched because they carried one of the designers that I liked (Amsale) and were having a trunk show. This was the 5th bridal gown vendor I had visited and I was planning to make my selection from these 5 vendors. The moment I went in I was welcomed and they listended to what I had in mind (not always the case at places like Ann's Boutique in Burke). My consultant Katie worked with me and we tried on several gowns then went back to the top 2 or 3 that I liked to narrow it down further- Katie was not watching the clock like my expierence at Hannelore's in Alexandria where you only get 60 minutes even on a weekday. They ordered the dress and they were able to make a few minor modifications like adding extra buttons to the back at no additional cost. I also found alterations to be very reasonable when comparing the other 4 vendors. Hitched ordered the gown and it arrived in the summer but they stored it for me until we began alterations the following summer. Every time I went my sales consultant Katie worked with me and she remembered that I was a teacher and asked about how things were going- it made me feel special and that she cared. The seamstress Jazz was fantastic. She was at each fitting and knew what would work and look the best. I was to have three fittings based on the contract but because the last fitting was just before I started work and the wedding was still 6 weeks away they did an extra fitting a few days before the wedding at no charge. I also purchsed my headpiece and veil from them and again they worked with me to customize it so that it matched my dress perfectly. I was concerned about driving into Georgetown and the parking, but it was well worth it to get such exceptional customer service.

Getting my wedding dress from Hitched was such a fun experience! I was lucky enough to buy my dress at a trunk show, meet the designer, aaand get 10% off my dress! Trying on dresses was so low stress here and I really felt that the consultant (Lynette) knew what I had in mind and what would look great on me. After finding and purchasing the perfect gown, I still had nothing but awesome experiences here. I had my dress fitted with them as well and their seamstress is amazing! The whole team worked so hard to make sure that everything was perfect and were all so incredibly kind. I won't miss the trips to Georgetown, but I will miss not going in and having the fun of wedding dress fittings at Hitched! Getting my gown from them was a truly lovely bridal experience!

LOVE THIS STORE! Everyone said my dress was the prettiest they had seen! I know it is largely in part to the great team they have working there. The atmosphere all the way down to the alterations were perfection. I liked it so much I got not one but two gowns! You will truly get that bridal experience here.

I found my dress at the sample sale in October 2011, almost a year before my wedding! If you're looking for the "say yes to the dress" all eyes on me experience, a sample sale scene is NOT for you. If you're looking for the deal of a lifetime in a dress shop you wouldn't consider otherwise (solely based on $$), this is exactly the sale to watch for. Even though it was a little crazy in there, the staff was still very friendly and helpful. I imagine it would be really fun to go in there for a calmer experience. They also helped me find a fabulous seamstress for alterations, Green and Blue.

Hands down the best dress salon. Everyone at hitched was responsive, nice, and organized. My dress had a slight mistake with the beading and when I called Hitched, they had it sent back to the deisgner, fixed, and sent back to me in perfect condition. It only took a few days, but the people at Hitched called/emailed keeping me updated on everything that was happening. Would highly recommend!

Thought I could get a great dress at those mall bridal stores that's everywhere, but no way. Once you go to Hitched, you can tell a huge difference on quality and service. Hated to pay more, but really, it was a once in a life time dress. And it was absolutely beautiful!!! Service was outstanding!

Highly recommend Hitched! I purchased my wedding dress at Hitched and had the best experience from the time I made an appointment to try on wedding dresses for the first time. The staff is SUPER friendly and the store is adorable. I could not imagine going anywhere else. LOVE this place and the people there. They have gorgeous dresses!

I went to three bridal salons in DC and ultimately got my gown from Hitched; they carried a variety of beautiful, classic gowns, but I was ultimately drawn to their selection of elegant yet fashion-forward stuff - Lela Rose, among others. I was also drawn to the fun and relaxed atmosphere, which had none of the pushiness or, alternately, standoffishness I experienced elsewhere. I worked with 4-5 ladies at Hitched and Hitched Maids over a period of several months, and to the person they were warm, un-pretentious, helpful, responsive, and wonderful to deal with. Lynette and Jas, who team up to do fittings, were particularly great. I'd recommend Hitched to anyone!

I recently bought my dress at Hitched, what a great boutique!! They have a huge selection of the better dresses and the staff is super friendly and helpful! They also have an onsite tailor which makes the fittings so much easier! I love, love, love my dress and can thank them for helping me find the perfect one!! :)

I bought my Judd Waddell wedding dress at Hitched with fewer than three months to go before my wedding. Hitched is a small shop but has a well-edited selection of gowns, generally at a higher price point (mine cost $5,000, including unlimited alterations and a rush fee, given my timeline). In my experience, the staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful. They were great about appointment reminders and encouraging yet discerning when it came to fittings. Jasmine, their in-house seamstress, was a pro and made me feel very comfortable. My only complaint was that there was some puckering at the waistline of my dress, which had a band of beading. I think this was more of an inherent issue with the dress than the steaming and pressing done by Hitched, because the beading was sewn onto an organza overlay, which is a pretty delicate fabric. The organza overlay was also prone to wrinkling. I have no complaints about the service at Hitched; just know that it is a small-ish selection.

I had the pleasure of working with Katie throughout this experience. I had an appointment early on Saturday morning and it was my first appointment ever. I tried on several dresses before finding "the one." I had a few other appointments with other boutiques that day, but I knew I found the dress at Hitched. Katie told me that the dress that I loved would be going on sale the following week and the designer would be in town. I am so grateful that she suggested I come back and save the money. She even sent me a hand-written thank you note just for coming in. It's this attention to detail that is not lost on me. I bought the dress a week later. I used Hitched for the minimal alterations that needed to be done as well. They were so flexible with my hectic work schedule and allowed me to come in for my fittings when it was convenient for me. I just love these ladies and will always recommend them to all of the brides-to-be I know.

Hitched is the best salon in the area hands down. After reading reviews and visiting a few other places no other salon could compare. I found my perfect dress at Hitched, which also happens to be the only store in the area to carry Amy Kuschel gowns. Each girl at the store was extremely helpful and friendly, yet never overly so. Everything went smoothly from trying on gowns, to debating my selection, to purchasing, and fittings. They were also flexible and worked with my schedule. I highly recommend the accessories night - made finding my accessories a breeze. All and all if it's within your budget, I'd highly recommend Hitched!
