What can I say!! The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn Fairfax are unbelievable!! Catherine Calvin is just amazing!! She treats your wedding as if it is her very own. She was there every step of the way. Whenever I had a question Catherine was immediate in her response. The venue is awesome with a beautiful garden!! We had a fabulous cocktail hour outdoors before the reception. The reception was perfect!! I never had to lift a finger. Julio was absolutely perfect. He set everything up beautifully and was on point the whole night!! As the bride and groom a lot of time you never get to eat or enjoy yourself. With the Hilton that never happened. We were treated as if we were the only people in the room. I would highly recommend this venue for all of your banquet needs.

My wedding went WAYYYYY better than what me and my Husband imagined. It was seamless; the staff was PERFECT, they did anything and was SOOOOO professional. Definately worth every penny. I LOVED IT, everyone spoke about how amazing the food was and how beautiful and classy the location is. All I can say is BRAVO!

We had the most memorable reception at Hilton Garden Inn. The dessert was great, table setup and decorations were awesome, communications was also great, and the service with personal touch was the best. The reception place was big enough for 50-70 friends to hangaround with small dance floor. The sparkles at the departure went great on their garden with water fountaion and flowers. The staff was always there to help when needed.

The Hilton Garden Inn was the absolute perfect choice for my ceremony and reception venue. Right from the beginning Catherine Calvin was a pleasure to work with. She immediately impressed me with her experience, professionalism, and friendliness. The hotel garden patio where we had our ceremony is gorgeous! I booked exactly one year away from my wedding and Catherine stayed in touch with me the entire time. She responded promptly to all my inquires even when my wedding was far away. The hotel is priced very affordably and includes a lot in the wedding packages; we definitely got A LOT of value for the cost. Catherine coordinated with us to set up our tasting and we met her less than a month out from my wedding to discuss the details. She was so thorough and made sure we had a smooth layout of our event timeline. She was very accommodating to all my requests like, for example, using a small room to sign my ketubah at no extra cost and using a guest room as a bridal suite to get ready also at no extra cost. On the day of my wedding Julio and the entire hotel staff were amazing. The reception staff was polite and courteous to all my guests. Julio and the wait staff were all helpful, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. If there were any problems they took care of them. Julio was accessible and always attentive and available to us. He was an angel, there was seemingly nothing he couldn't or wouldn't do to make sure I had the wedding of my dreams. Julio and the wait staff really went above and beyond with exemplary service and attention. Julio brought my husband and I drinks and he personally served us our dinner. He checked in with us every so often to make sure we were alright and he even helped us gather up the centerpieces and things we wanted to keep after the reception. I cannot say enough good things about Catherine and Julio. They are such great people and they clearly love their jobs because they have been at the hotel for a long time and they take pride in their work. I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn in a heart beat. I am so so glad I was married at there. Thank you, thank you, Catherine and Julio for helping to make my wedding one of the best and happiest days of my life.

We ended up switching our wedding to the Hilton Garden Inn from another location because of difficulties with the site. The Hilton Garden Inn was very easy to work with. Catherine is quick to answer questions and very helpful. Julio the day of the wedding was wonderful- he even got my dad a drink during the cocktail hour so he could talk to people. We had an outdoor ceremony in the gardens and it was beautiful!!! The flowers were wonderful. We then had the cocktail hour and reception there- which was wonderful. The only thing is I was surprise how fast we were moved through dinner service... but the food was good! Catherine's web page was also a big hit for me during my planning. I recommend the Hilton Garden Inn- people loved how everything was in one place

Catherine lended her enthusiastic advise, experience, and awesome stories along every step of the planning process! The day of, Julio became more like a family member than an employee of the Hilton. So attentive and extremely kind. The process was easy with such professionals --- and the wedding itself was a dream! The staff at the Hilton is amazing and I highly recommend it! The Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax provided me and my husband with the wedding of our dreams. Catherine Calvin, the catering manager, was extremely friendly, attentive, and responsive to my needs throughout the planning process, and we were thrilled to work with her. She was very helpful in making sure that we were able to work within our budget to achieve everything we wanted. Julio was on-site the day of our wedding, and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. We had a beautiful cocktail hour, and the decorations were set up exactly as I had envisioned. They were even able to open up the courtyard (thanks to the weather!) and our guests had a fabulous time utilizing the additional bar and tables that were set up outside. The staff paid close attention to the needs of myself and my husband, and particularly to our guests. The dinner was delicious and served in a professional and efficient manner. The way that the staff interacted with my other vendors (photographer, DJ) ensured that the rest of the evening went smoothly. We had a fabulous exit with sparklers in the courtyard, and it made for a moment I will never forget. They also provided us with a complimentary room for the evening, and we held a brunch in their fabulous restaurant for our guests the morning after. It was the perfect way for us to thank our guests for coming and to spend some quality time with those who came from out of town.
I would highly recommend this hotel for their extremely professional services and personal attention to detail. Our friends and family are still commenting on what an incredible event it was, and how pleased they were with everything that was provided by the hotel. I cannot say enough about Catherine and her staff. She truly made our wedding dreams come true!

Catherine Calvin at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax, Virginia provided us with a beautiful and lovely spot for our reception! We had the most wonderful wedding and it was planned out to the finest detail by Catherine, she's a joy and a lovely person to work with! Very fun, sweet, kind, courteous, and professional...! She responded to all/any questions I had, and there were many!! but she is very quick in her responses... and the food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests loved it! The kids were raving about the rice medley and our Fruit/Fondue to start things out with, and our cake at the end, too...
The our adults guests were raving about our food, too and the service, the selection and Julio's incredible team and expertise in providing us everything we could want/need to make our day absolutely perfect!!
We'd HIGHLY recommend Catherine Calvin and her staff to the Hilton Garden Inn, any time, all the time! Thank you again, Catherine, Julio, and Kelly, too!! Excellent and top notch service, from the moment we arrived til the time we danced our last dance!!! Sincerely, Karen and John Sawall

The Hilton Garden Inn was wonderful. Catherine Calvin was excellent! She helped us every step of the way and was very flexible. She made it very easy to plan our wedding. Our wedding was perfect! The garden looked beautiful and having the fountain was a perfect touch. The food was fabulous. All of my guests raved about how good the Mahi Mahi and the chicken in the lemon basil sauce was. The staff was attentive and available when you needed anything. Julio the banquet manager was excellent as well. He made sure all the details were taken care of the day of the wedding and made me feel like I did not have to worry about anything. The Hilton Garden staff was wonderful and we highly recommend this hotel for any of your needs. We received a complimentary room for the night and had a wonderful surprise in the room. We were given a fruit flatter with grapes, strawberries dipped in chocolate and a bottle of champange. They helped create the perfect wedding for us. Thank you Hilton!

I absolutely LOVED working with Catherine and Julio at the Hilton! Catherine was so helpful and we never had problems getting in touch with her. She was always cheerful and willing to help with anything and answer all of the questions we had. The day of the wedding went absolutely perfect, and the atmosphere of the reception and the food was wonderful. We had so many comments about how the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding. We had originally wanted to have the wedding outside, and they were very flexible with changing it inside since it rained. After the rain stop, they moved tables outside for the cocktail hour. I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn to anyone having a wedding or any kind of party. What a great experience we had!

I would definitely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn to everyone! We wanted our reception at a hotel so it was be convenient for out of town guests. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the Hilton Garden Inn is the best choice. All of our guests remarked that everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Catherine Calvin, the event planner, is a wonderful person to work with. She seems more like a friend then someone you are doing business with. The food was wonderful and they even helped arrange a special meal for my grandmother who has lots of allergies (at no extra cost). Catherine gave us suggestions for other vendors and was always prompt at returning e-mails and answering questions.

It was great working with Cathrine Calvin with the Hilton Garden Inn. She was very helpful to make the reception just how we wanted it. You can tell that she is great at what she does and loves working with couples to plan their wedding/ wedding reception.

I would highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn!!! My family and I loved working with Catherine during the entire planning process. She was more than willing to listen to all of my ideas and was just as excited to work with us as we were with her. The entire staff can turn their banquet room into the wedding that you always dreamed of. Oh and the food is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
