When it was time for us to find a venue, we knew we wanted a venue that could host our ceremony and reception since we had quite a few family and friends traveling from out of town. After countless hours spent looking in magazines, researching online, and emails, I felt like we wouldn't never find it. Then I stumbled upon Greenside Cafe at the Dad Miller Golf Course (through weddingwire.com) and I thought it was too good to be true. The pictures, the prices, the menu all advertised on the website were just too charming and we couldn't believe it. We kept thinking, "what's the catch?". There was no catch.

From the moment we met Tina at Greenside Cafe, we were confident that we found the right venue and the right person to help us with our wedding. With so many questions came tons of emails but Tina always responded with a friendly answer and always reassured me that everything will turn out perfectly. There were quite a few times when I had an idea and Tina was able to turn that idea into a reality with her amazing suggestions. On the day of our wedding, my bridesmaid's dress came undone at the zipper right before we were to do our grand entrance but with Tina's skills and a sewing kit she kept in our office, the dress was fixed.

Tina and the Greenside Cafe at Dad Miller Golf Course was a blessing from beginning to end. The food, the ceremony, the reception, the staff, the location; looking back, we couldn't find any errors. Because of her, we can look back and be proud that Greenside Cafe was where we got married.

My recpetion was here. Tina was AWESOME< by far my best vendor in this whole process. We almost didn't go look at the Greenside Cafe because the prices were SO affordable, I'm so glad we did!! Food was great, the staff set everything up, and Tina helped with anything I asked her to!!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. First off, it’s beautiful-the ceremony location is this semi-enclosed patio area that overlooks the golf course; and the reception room has windows that overlook the course so there were these really pretty views. We had our buffet set up on the ceremony patio and it was nice getting to go outside for that. And the food was delicious; I thought it wouldn’t be that great for the price, but we were really surprised at the tasting. And Tina (the banquet manager) is so nice-she’s really helpful; she was there the entire time if we needed anything and she made sure that dinner was served on time which was important to us. I couldn’t be happier with this place; we were able to stick our (very tight) budget and have a really beautiful ceremony and reception.

Greenside Cafe was more than I ever expected for our money. All of the staff we dealt with from bartender, to server was better than I could have imagined. Their catering manager, Tina, far exceeded my expectations and just was exceptional -- she was warm friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions with ease all the while with a smile. I'd phone her with questions and she'd return my phone calls promptly. She set up meetings in advance to discuss the day including the linens, gave great advice about center piece set up, calmed my nerves when it came to displaying our cake, and generally filled in the blanks that I hadn't even thought about. We did a tasting and she sat with us to explain the different choices and amended things on the spot.
The day of our wedding, Tina was even dressed in coordinating colors, her attention to detail WOWed us more than I can say. (It brings tears to my eyes just remembering what a great day it was because of Greenside's wonderful staff.)
We took pictures out on the golf course and like a magic wand they had struck the ceremony setup and a buffet magically replaced it!!! I was amazed!!!
My guests couldn't stop talking about the great food, many went back for seconds (and others just wished they had!).
We wanted to serve alcohol but were concerned about the cost, Tina shared with us the various ways to host the bar that would make our budget last, we picked one that best fit our budget and everyone had a great time!
I'd recommend Greenside Cafe to anyone on a budget or not, it's a lovely facility with the green of the golfcourse in the background. I do it all over again, just the same way!!!
