Graydon Hall and its garden is absolutely beautiful and elegant and I can't really imagine holding our wedding and reception anywhere else. It was the first venue we visited and none of the other venues we visited afterwards could compare. There are certain aspects of the manor that may require some repairs but overall it is a gorgeous gem that is tucked in around apartment buildings.
We had a rough time with planning our wedding with Graydon Hall. From the time we signed the contract to the actual wedding, our event coordinator changed 3x over 14 months. It was pretty unsettling and people changing jobs can't be avoided but it definitely reaffirmed that we needed to hire our own wedding planner because we couldn't rely solely on the GHM coordinator to take care of everything. We also found the turnaround time for email responses were a bit slow and could sometimes takes weeks, and then response times were better closer to the date. GHM is also not very flexible in terms of negotiating anything.
The food is delicious and the portion sizes are HUGE. All of our guests were impressed by the meal and we were pleased that everything was exactly the same as our tasting. The wait staff is also incredibly attentive and made sure lunch was served quickly and smoothly.
While we had some hiccups during the planning process, the day itself was still executed perfectly and we couldn't be happier with how amazing our wedding day turned out.
Graydon Hall Manor was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. We chose to have a winter wedding and could not have chosen a better location (although it looks even more beautiful in the warmer months!). The building itself is gorgeous. The many rooms inside allow great use of the space. The food their caterer provided was phenomenal (and this was especially important to us as the groom is a Chef!). All in all, I do not think we could say one bad thing about this venue. Our guests were beyond thrilled and as were we!
Graydon hall is beautiful. I'm glad I picked this place for my wedding, service and food are excellent too.
Beautiful place, best food, excelent service. One wedding per day, so u don't have to share place with anybody else. Place is so beautiful that u can take all your pictures there and u don't have to go anywhere else.
Had our wedding at Graydon Hall Manor and we can't say enough good things about the place. We had ours in the 3rd week of May in 2013 and the weather was perfect. Not too warm and not cold at all. The sun was shining, not a cloud was in sight, and the garden was beautiful. Everything just looked perfect and all of our guests kept complimenting on how perfect our wedding was at Graydon Hall. The staff were exceptional as well, especially Keith, who coordinated with us throughout the months leading up to our wedding. He was very responsive, very helpful, very friendly, and we couldn't have asked for more!
Planning is a nightmare! The Organizer takes 1 week to respond and their excuse is that they are busy with many events that are earlier to my event.
However, the food and venue is a wonderful place! The service Captain and their team are wonderful and were very attentive with everything! If we need anything, they will drop what they are doing and will be to our rescue!
Although the planning stage was challenging, the day of the wedding was fabulous! Every guest enjoyed their time and even though it's long after the event, they still talk about how our wedding was amazing!
Our wedding coordinator at Graydon Hall, Keith Gawronski did an incredible job, along with all of the many staff. Keith kept us organized right up until the big day and on the big day the whole staff made things run smoothly and effortlessly. It poured with rain in the morning and they swept and cleaned and we were able to have the ceremony outside as a result. We received numerous compliments from our guests, as well as our band, on the food. While it is pricy, it was well worth it!
