Anissa is the best!
Anissa was incredible - so personable and caring! She met with us to get to know us so the wedding was as personalized as possible. The thoughtfulness and overall experience with her was just wonderful. We could not have asked more from Anissa and would recommend her for anyone tying the knot!Gracefully Wed's reply:

On our first call with Anissa, she immediately put us both at ease. We felt like she already got us. We met up and there was no mistaking she was who was meant to officiate our wedding. She worked with us to get the perfect script written and asked for our feedback along the way. She helped us with our vows and made the perfect ceremony come to life. She did a great job of having the attention on us and our words to each other which coaching us along the way. I can't imagine our day with anyone else standing up there with us that day. Anissa made our day so special. She was engaging and made us feel like we were the only people in the world. Leading up the the wedding she got to know us and was always available when we had questions. She created the best ceremony that was perfect for us. -

Anissa from Gracefully Wed Events was amazing in every way! From the first moment my now wife and I met Anissa, we were compelled by her and her graceful and confident manner. She was incredible throughout the entire wedding process and helped from start to finish in so many ways. She met with my wife and I before the wedding in order to make our ceremony reading more about us than just a general reading. She even coordinated with our musician, photographer, videographer, and event coordinator from the hotel in order to help make the wedding flow. I would highly recommend Anissa to anyone and everyone who is getting married. She was one of the first people we hired for our wedding and we would hire her again without pause. Anissa, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. -

Gift from God
Anissa was absolutely incredible from our first contact with her to the day of the wedding.
We had a few problems with our original officiant, and Anissa was able to not only accommodate us to her schedule but also to create a beautiful script that matched perfectly our history and style in a very short period of time.
First we had a meeting where she asked some questions about how we met, what we loved about each other, etc. She then took her time to include some of those answers in the script making it very personalized and special to us.
She helped me to write my vows to my stepchildren, and included them in our ceremony in a way that they felt important and part of our celebration.
She was also punctual, kind, and spoke incredibly well.
I will be forever thankful for this gift of God for putting her in our lives. Our ceremony wouldn’t be the same if we haven’t found her.
Thank you for making our day even more special, Anissa! We will remember you forever.

We are so happy we hired Anissa to officiate our wedding! My husband and I wanted to find someone who would make our ceremony feel personal to who we are. From the moment I spoke with Anissa, I knew she would have our best interest in mind and make this the special moment we've been dreaming of. She took the time to meet with both of us, and was flexible to do video calls since we are from out of town. She wrote a beautiful ceremony and involved us in the process to make sure it incorporated everything we wanted. Anissa was also really helpful when it came to writing our vows- she offered advice that helped us get started and reviewed them the week before our wedding. She made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of- she ran a great rehearsal, and on the day of she had our vows and all the readings printed out. Anissa has such a calming presence and made us feel calm and live in the moment- we are so grateful! -

Five Stars
Anissa was such a key and wonderful part of our wedding. It was so easy for us to quickly get to know and love her! She truly has a grace about her. Her words are beautiful (and so is she!!) She was well articulated and professional. She was accommodating to all of our wishes and knew exactly how to put together what we wanted to say to each other in front of our loved ones in such a beautiful way. I would recommend her for anyone’s special day!!! -

Made this day amazing
It took us a long time to find the right person to handle our wedding ceremony. We’ve reached out to different officiants but as soon as Anissa picked up the phone we realized that that is who we are looking for ! She was extremely polite and answered the whole ton of questions we had. The ceremony was super touchy and emotional thanks to Anissa! Furthermore, we didn’t even expect to get a customized marriage certificate (besides the real one that she filled out) she did herself for our couple ! Many thanks to Anissa again for being with us on such a special occasion ! -

Anissa was absolutely phenomenal to work with from start to finish! From our very first introductory phone call, I felt instantly at ease with Anissa, and by the time she was standing next to us at our wedding, she truly felt like an old friend. Even if she tried, Anissa could not be more warm, gracious, engaging and professional! She is an absolute precious gem and we felt beyond lucky that we found her, I can't imagine having had anyone else there beside us.
One of the best things about Anissa's approach is the time and care she takes in getting to know you. My husband and I had a long phone call with Anissa where she asked lots of questions about us as a couple and we were able to share stories about our relationship with her. This allowed her to craft a wedding ceremony that was personal and meaningful to us. There was nothing at all generic about our ceremony. And she was the consummate professional, when we asked for a few changes to her first draft of our ceremony, she was entirely gracious and accommodating, never making us feel awkward about anything! Her goal was very clearly for us to have a ceremony that was perfect for us. And that is exactly what we got - an absolutely beautiful, touching, and personal story of us. So don't hesitate in the slightest to make adjustments until your ceremony is perfect for you, without a doubt that's what Anissa would want.
On the day of our wedding Anissa made sure to come and meet me in person ahead of the ceremony, greeting me with a hug. I immediately felt so comfortable and at east - she felt like an old friend. While we were standing with her saying our vows, she was a comforting and calming presence by my side. Furthermore, our guests just loved her and enjoyed engaging with her as well!
Another key piece of information is that Anissa reviewed the personal vows we wrote to one another - to help us make sure that our length and tone were complementary. And then she printed out our vows so we didn't have to. Anissa also printed out a beautiful copy of the ceremony so we could have it as a keepsake.
By the time we said goodbye, Anissa felt like a true kindred spirit! You are the absolute best Anissa, we are so grateful to have shared our dream of a day with you! -

My husband and I were extremely fortunate to have Anissa officiate our wedding. A dear friend of my Aunt, we fell in love with her immediately. She created a beautifully crafted, custom script for my husband and I which summed up our relationship and story perfectly. We had a very intimate ceremony at the Battery with our loved ones and she helped to create and deliver our vision. She was so helpful throughout the process and even recommended other vendors. But the one thing I'll always remember and appreciate was during our ceremony right after our vows were spoken, with tears rolling down our faces, and the excitement of finally becoming man and wife- I went to put the ring on my husband's finger and was in a semi- outer body state when Anissa whispered to me which hand was his left hand. It seems simple- but it was so much more. Anissa is thoughtful and intentional with everything she does and it truly makes a difference. Thank you Anissa! You are such a beautiful soul and we are so thankful to have had you officiate our wedding.

The perfect ceremony!
Anissa is my first review to write after getting married, and rightfully so! The ceremony was incredibly important to me and I wanted to find a officiant that understood who we are as a couple and custom write a ceremony for us. From the first moment of speaking to Anissa I knew she was our gal- kindhearted, warm and understanding. She knew exactly what questions to ask my now husband and how to involve him in a way that made him comfortable and she got all the details that were important to me. She also ran our rehearsal the day before and made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy. Anissa took the time driving to our venue and waiting for all of us to arrive (in afternoon traffic and with delay) and then even offered to take my in-laws back to town as their Uber did not arrive in time. That is just exactly who she is as a person- loving and kind. The ceremony she wrote for us was perfection, and it was my favorite part of our wedding! Anissa gave us a little folder with the printed out version of our ceremony and the poems that we used - which is such a sweet sentiment for us to have! Thank you so much for making our ceremony dreams come true! For all the couples that are yet to get married - do not look any further, Anissa is the best out there! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! -
