DO NOT book with Pilar/Gorgeous and Green for your wedding. I can honestly say that she singlehandedly ruined the decor on my wedding day. When my bouquet was delivered, I immediately started crying. Not out of happiness. It was horrible, wilted, brown, and 1/3 of it was roses (which I HATE with a passion, and made VERY clear to Pilar to not use any roses, with the exception of garden roses). It was tiny. 2 of my friends went hunting around and found another florist to make a bouquet for me from scratch. My centerpieces were nonexistent, as Pilar dropped them at the venue and left-- no set up, nothing (which I paid for and was in the contract). No one knew how to set them up, as it was the FLORISTS job!! And the actual centerpieces were not what I ordered (they had gross raffia in the bottom, which made them look dirty and old, and were nowhere near as full as they were supposed to be). 4 of the boutinierres were completely wrong (pink gerbers instead of white orchids), 2 of the corsages were brown and broken upon delivery. The shepard's hooks I rented where 1' tall (when they were supposed to be at least 3-4' tall)-- they looked stupid because they were so short, and didn't accomodate the decor I had bought to hang from them.

Pilar is IMPOSSIBLE to reach via email, and when we set up a meeting to go over the final design plan (in person, at her suggestion), she emailed 45 minutes prior to say I would need to pay her mileage and consulting time-- when the contract states that "continued design support" is included in the cost I paid. I was supposed to receive the design plan 2 weeks prior to the wedding-- I got it the day before the wedding.

I spent multiple hours on my honeymoon crying and furious about the floral-- it was one of the MOST important elements of our wedding, and Pilar completely ruined it. The decor looked cheap and not polished, and it was due to her negligence and unprofessionalism.

Please save yourself the drama, and DO NOT BOOK WITH GORGEOUS AND GREEN EVENTS!!!! She will not be receiving the final payment from us, and I will be reporting her negligent business practices to every organization I can. Once I get pics from the photographer, I will post pictures of the "flowers" she delivered-- please understand that I am not a crazy bride, but am honestly beyond disappointed with her work, and want to save EVERY other bride from the stress and disappointment Pilar and Gorgeous and Green Events caused for my husband and I.

Pilar runs an environmentally conscious and beautiful flower service. She worked with me request to create centerpieces out of apples as well as flowers and even provided flowers for my cake! We first met her at her home, but she now has a super cute shop on San Pablo Ave. in Oakland. Her prices are amazing for what you get and she has unique ideas for a modern bride.

I love Pilar's old fashioned style! We had a 1930's inspired wedding, and the flowers she put together fit in very well. She was super accommodating with last minute changes, even texting me to respond to last minute requests. Thank you Pilar!!!

Pilar provided the most beautiful bouquets. I am a big fan of lavender and Pilar used that flower in the men's flowers. The colors were perfect and the mixture of blue and yellow really made a great contrast. I have kept my bouquet and dried it and will keep it in a keepsake box for many years.

Gorgeous and Green did the flowers and decorations for my wedding. We wanted to use as many organic or sustainable items as possible. They had great ideas and the cost was reasonable. For example, all the center pieces were potted arrangments of succulents that now I get to enjoy everyday in the yard. My flowers were amazing, they look great in the pictures! G & G made beautiful and creative flowers and decorations for a reasonable/competitive price, and we did it in a socially responsible way.
