We hired Gerber + Scarpelli to photograph our wedding in August after meeting with several photographers in the area. They came recommended to us from some friends and after seeing their photos we knew they would do a great job. From the start they were easy to work with and willing to customize a package that fit our budget and wish list. Kurt & Melody were our photographers for the big day and they were excellent. They were on time and professional the whole time. We had planned to take pictures in the city but it ended up raining and Kurt had a good back up plan ready to go. He took some great shots throughout the day and really captured the memories I have of my own wedding. We received a DVD about a month after the wedding day and they continue to be responsive and helpful with anything we need. They were worth every penny.

Nick was great to work with. He was really personable, friendly and we had a great time shooting the pictures. Nick really knows Chicago locations for shooting. It rained on my wedding day and although we had planned to shoot outside, he had another location ready to go without any stress about it. There was a film shooting at our indoor location and he totally negotiated everything about getting us in. I really appreciated Nick's easygoing attitude on my day!!!!!!!

I met with several different photographers when I started planning my wedding last year and as soon as my now-husband and I met with Mike Scarpelli, the choice was obvious, Mike's such an easy-going , funny guy, I knew he would be the type to make us feel comfortable on the big day. We spent some more time with him during our engagement shoot and my face honestly hurt from laughing so much by the end of the day! He just makes everything feel so natural. On the day of the wedding, he and Maggie shot us and they were such a pleasure to work with. Super relaxed and got all of the shots they needed without making the day "all about taking pictures." I couldn't be happier with how the pics turned out and am so glad we decided to go with GS, since we'll be looking back at these images for years to come.

Best wedding photographers in Chicago. Belen and Nick were able to capture every moment, all of the personal expressions, and details that made the day magical. Plus, they're awesome to work with, really creative and so much fun.

Kurt Gerber photographed our wedding and did a GREAT job! We loved him for our beautiful, artistic and candid shots. He got the needed photos, but then took great artistic reign with awesome shots of our bridal party in front of the Board of Trade and the Kinzie Street Bridge. We couldn't be more excited for our pictures!

We used Orange2 photography associated with Gerber + Scarpelli. Belen Aquino was our photographer and we absolutely have fallen in love with her and have used her for a family photo shoot since our wedding. The pictures were amazing and she was so fun to work with. We have gotten countless compliments on our photos from friends and family. My only advice is to lay out who you would like pictures of before the wedding day in terms of guests; that was the only area where we would have paid more attention going in. Belen is WONDERFUL though!

We had Kurt and Nick Gerber shoot our wedding, and were very pleased with the photos. Kurt and Nick showed up an hour earlier than they were scheduled, just because they didn't want to miss anything. I think that shows true professionalism, and it also shows me that they really care about their clients.

They created a beautiful slideshow of our wedding photos within 3 days of the wedding, which was SO exciting for us. After the wedding, we couldn't wait to see pictures, and Gerber + Scarpelli didn't make us wait long! I cried watching the whole slideshow. The photos really told the story of our day and it was great to watch. I think i've played it 100 times already and I've only been married for two weeks! We also got to see all of the wedding photos 1.5 weeks after the wedding day. They worked REALLY fast to get these done, and we are thankful!

Gerber + Scarpelli's photos are like fine art. My husband was very very picky with what photographer we would go with. We probably interviewed 15 of them before deciding on G+S, so that says a lot about their quality of work. Kurt and Nick are true professionals, and gave us some beautiful images to remember our big day.

Overall, I'd give them a grade of A!

G&S was amazing on our wedding day! We got so many amazing, unique shots! They were a pleasure to work with and Belen and Mel did such a great job!

Kurt shot our wedding this past NYE and our experience was wonderful. Kurt knows his s#$& - I cannot tell you how nice it is to trust in someone and not have to think on your wedding day.

Just tell me what I need to do and when...Kurt provided us with great direction and encouragement. He can also kick ass/take no prisoners when he needed to be, especially when it comes to rent-a-cops who think they are masters of their universe.

We cannot be happier with our experience with Kurt - we asked a lot of him, having to coordinate with our cinematographers who outnumbered him six to one so for that I want to personally thank him for being so accommodating! We can't wait to see the pictures!

Mike Scarpelli and one of their associate photographers, Belen, shot our wedding and the photos are AMAZING! First, Mike and Belen were so down to earth and easy to work with. They were great to have around on the wedding day. Second, the pictures could not be any better. I have been getting so many comments about how great they are and my biggest dilemma right now is narrowing all the shots down to 100 for our album! Yes this studio is on the pricier side, but they are so so so worth it. I made photography the priority in my budget and could not be more pleased, after all, it is the photos that last past the actual day!

Kurt Gerber is spectacular. If you like more of a non-traditional, photo jouranlistic look for your pictures I highly recommend him. I am so happy with all of our pictures...I feel like they are unique and really capture the essence of the whole event.

My photographer made my event. They were worth every penny! They were professional, on time, and very, very flexible not to mention the quality of their work is second to none. Kurt Gerber, one of the owners, is down-to-earth and so easy to work with. He is interested in making his clients happy and he knew how to deliver.

We ended up hiring Keiffer and Gail from his studio to shoot our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. They were creative, calm, and focused. The took the time to get to know my husband and I and they did an amazing job showing our personalities through their work.

I can honestly say Gerber & Scarpelli was the easiest vendor I worked with through the entire planning process. Everything was laid back, I didn't have to sit through countless meetings and I didn't have to make hard and fast decisions, everything just came together beautifully. I have and will continue to suggest to all my friends and family to use Gerber & Scarpelli.

Mr. Kurt Gerber did the photos himself for our wedding which was such a pleasure! The minute we walked into the office we knew that this was who we wanted! We planned on 'spulging' when it came to the photography, and it was well worth it!! We would do it again a million times over! We would completely with out a doubt always reccomend Gerber & Scarpelli. The pictures they took totally told the story of our day and is something we can have for the rest of lives to remember our wedding and how perfectly Gerber & Scarpelli captured it. We cant wait for the next big event so we can hire them again!
