I couldn't have been more happy with my flowers.

Jenny was fantastic with figuring out how to get the most gorgeous flowers and get it at a great value.

She seemed to understand all the things i couldn't explain clearly. She was clear about pricing. She was comforting that they would take care of things. And she really came through.

I never thought I would enjoy my flowers as much as I did, and I already am in love with flowers.

My brother and sis-in-law had used them as well. They are really the best!!!!!

on the day of my wedding, as I was so stressed, i went to pick my flower bouqet, and with my mood that day, it wasn't what exactly i was looking for. the lady was soo sweeeet that she asked me to sit and she re-did the whole thing for me. the boqet was nice, and everyone said oh WAW

We decided to be minimalists with our floral decorations, and Jenny at the Flower Den was very accommodating and helpful. Her arrangements were beautiful, and my bridal bouquet ended up being EXACTLY what I envisioned. Jenny was also able to handle a last-minute request for additional boutonnieres and even threw in a few as a "wedding present." How thoughtful! I also appreciated how they didn't try to push additional items that we didn't want. I highly recommend!

I don't remember the name of the owner, but what I can say is that she was absolutely wonderful! She did an amazing job helping me out. I told her at front that I was not sure if I wanted to get my center pieces done there, and that I might do them myself. She gave me a quote with centerpieces too in case I decided to get them done there.
At the end, I got everything done with them exept the center pieces. The arragement for the signing book table looked amazing for what I paid. They did a great job! I totally recommend them! You can tell them what you can afford and they will tell you what they can do.

ANN @ FLOWER DEN:

My original florist had to back out of our contract at the last minute due to a medical emergency, and I met Ann at the Flower Den, through my mother in law. With only 8 weeks until our wedding, Ann was accommodating and efficient, called me right away after talking with my mother in law, and we scheduled a meeting over the weekend. She asked me for my wedding colors, to compile a list of flowers I knew I wanted and to bring pictures if I had any. Luckily, since I had done so much work with my original florist, I knew exactly what I wanted and had pictures of everything. When we met, she first asked me my budget ($1200), what was previously discussed with the other florist, and for the other florist's final quote. She looked over the contract with the other florist and right away said that not only could she cut half of these costs in half, but that I didn't need that many flowers for this or this arrangement and made examples of her point on the spot. Since I saw her point first hand, she left the meeting agreeing to send me a quote and a contract on Monday. I got the quote a little late (by Thursday), and it was a little more than was discussed, but as soon as I got on the phone with her to discuss the changes, she amended the quote and got the new quote and contract to me the following Monday. Everything looked great and we signed our new contract.

The day of our wedding was the day the blizzard of 2009 hit- December 19, 2009. Ann called me the day before, Friday, to ask if it would be okay if they delivered the flowers that night, since she wasn't sure with the impending weather, if the delivery van would be able to make it out the next day. I understood entirely, and agreed to delivery that day. She told me details about how to care for and where to place the flowers so they would keep for the following day. She also sent detailed instructions with her delivery men, who also gave me instructions on how to care for the larger arrangements. They were all extremely accommodating and flexible- Ann even sent some peonies (my favorite flower that wasn't guaranteed to be available in December, so we used alternative garden roses to substitute) she got in at the last minute, "to brighten my day", with the delivery men to me when they dropped off our order.

The flowers were gorgeous- exactly what we asked for and discussed. The instructions she gave to take care of the flowers over night in a freezing garage were perfect, and they were absolutely full and blooming the day of the ceremony/blizzard. I recommend Ann to any bride, not necessarily on a budget, but who loves a good deal, without hesitation. The integrity and quality of her work is impeccable and beautiful and she is a wonderful business lady, being upfront and honest and looking out for her clients. You will not be disappointed with the Flower Den!

I was very pleased with the service and quality of the arrangements by Flower Den. They were very agreeable and flexible. We really had no idea what we wanted, but were on budget, so value mattered. They really worked with us in figuring out what kinds of flowers to have at a good price. They were not pushy whatsoever about encouraging us to pay more than we wanted. I changed my mind three or more times, each time they changed the order without hesitation. We added and removed items within the week prior, with no questions asked. We used them for loose flowers for our centerpieces, bouquets and boutineres, cake topper, and two arrangements for the chapel. All turned out beautiful and they even added additional flowers to the bridesmaids bouquets that were not part of our quoted price (at no additional charge). We did not have the items delivered, a friend picked them up. Everything was ready to go at the time they specified. In hearing what others have paid for their flowers, we were very pleased with the quality of the flowers at a reasonable price. We would certainly use Flower Den again and recommend it to local friends and family.

Even though, Flower Den and their staff was great to work with they managed to get confused with my wedding colors. I was not happy with my table centerpieces and with my bridesmaids bouquets. My bouquet although, it was beautiful and just how I wanted it, but I had to send it back the same day of my wedding to add more flowers as they did it smaller than we had agreed on. Overall they are good to work with, but you have to be on top of them.

Flower Den was the 2nd florist we visited, because the first florist who we actually found on this website was extremely rude and didn't seem to want or care about our business. The Flower Den in Annandale was brilliant, very professional. The same guy at the Flower Den who took our order ended up delivering our order and setup was made exactly to our request. Recommend.

I first went to a venue-recommended florist who pretty much tossed boxes of pictures in front of me and sat impatiently while I looked through them. When I asked about different flowers and their seasonal costs, it became apparent that he didn't really care to have my business because 1) I wasn't sure what flowers I wanted or could afford and 2) I was considering not having table centerpieces. So, forget them (the Flower Gallery in Chantilly, VA).

I asked my church (where the ceremony would take place) who was responsible for the church's regular flowers. That was the best question I've ever asked. The Flower Den is responsible for my church's floral arrangements. From the moment we walked in, Sami and his staff were so friendly and so accommodating. He explained the different types of roses (different types == different weight and thickness of bouquets). When I mentioned centerpieces, he recommended either a small rose bowl or a tall tower, so guests could see each other across the table. He said that he would show me how it looked. I thought he would just bring out the sample vases. His helper actually went and put together to different centerpiece arrangements using my preferred colors (purple) so that I could see what my centerpieces would look like. Actual, on-the-fly arrangements created. We were sold. They are great! The only reason why I didn't give full 5 stars for value for budget is that I hardly remember my flowers on that day, but everyone else enjoyed them.

Flower den provided beautiful flowers for my ceremony and reception. I am allergic to roses and a few other high scent flowers so I told them that and my preference for fall colors in the bouquets. They came up with beautiful arrangements and I couldn't have been happier!!
