Fancy cakes was a huge help when it came to my wedding cake. She took the time to sit down with us and explain everything, she didn't add all the silly extra costs to everything like many other bakeries did. She even worked to help us get the most 'cost-effective' cake. On our wedding day, our cake was absolutely gorgeous and delicious as well!

This should sound a lot like other reviews you have read. This woman can bake but don't count on her. Our cake was to be delivered at 2:00 for a 4:30 wedding. It arrived 5:15. I am glad it did not arrive at 5 though. She would have driven through the ceremony.

Definitely a wonderful place and a wonderful woman. She had a can do spirit and was happy to do everything we asked, crazy or not. We will definitely be getting all of our special event and birthday cakes from Fancy Cakes here on out.

For our wedding we chose a traditional tiered cake and 2 sheet cakes so that we had 3 flavors for each guest. The cakes were phenomenal in flavor and beauty. Tammy was easy to work with along the way. I'd looked at other shops and either their decorator skills or cake taste were lacking. She didn't disappoint us for our wedding.

To get our complimentary anniversary cake I've called once a month and left a message since then with no return calls.

Tammy's skills are amazing, but be sure to get some assurrances on follow-through.

Tammi's cake was delicious. It was also beautiful, and she arrived on time for my wedding. She also put the flowers on the cake for us. (They were fresh flowers) The only thing, is she was very unresponsive via email. I was supposed to get a contract after giving her the deposit, and I waited weeks to hear from her. It wasn't until I let her know I saw she cashed my check and needed my contract, or I'd be going to another baker, and would be expecting my deposit back; that she responded, she apologized for it and fessed up to the mistake which is admirable, not professional, but at least she did honestly own up to her mistake. Other than that one snafu, she responded asap to all my other emails, and emailed me my final contract once I sent in the final deposit. Everyone RAVED about her cake and I cannot wait for my one year anniversary cake!

I got TWO wrong cakes on my wedding day--what a nightmare! The third one--my show cake--looked as if a novice had attempted the simple design. Not only that, but she stood me up when we agreed I could pick up my anniversary cake. I called her shop 5 times during her business hours from my cellphone. She didn't pick up once. The first time I called from my office phone, she picked up instantly. Coincidence? No, Tammi thought she would just evade my calls with the aid of her caller ID. The second time I drove an hour to get the cake, she was at her new shop location instead of the old one. (This made me angry because when we were trying to reschedule the anniversary cake appointment, she was unavailable because she was "moving her store out of town." I told her that was surprising, because when I was there just days before, her old shop said the new location would be just around the corner. She lied because she didn't want to meet me, and I caught her in it.) When I went to get the cake the second time, she gave me the stalest cake I've ever eaten--it had to have been the original cake from 2 weeks prior. And with the wrong icing! But, I have to say I'm lucky. For other brides, she didn't show up at all... They didn't get a wedding cake. You can definitely find someone to work with who delivers what he or she promises and doesn't lie in the process. It's not Tammi at Fancy Cake Shop. Pick someone who doesn't have to attempt to defend her unprofessionalism.

Fancy Cake Shop has some amazingly good tasting cakes for an affordable price. We were very happy with the flavor of our cake. However, the cake itself didn't really look the way we wanted it to. It wasn't at all what we were expecting. Still though, cake was yummy.

My fiancé and I had a great experience with Tammi. She took her time to help us design a custom cake and the cake tasted wonderful. We got exactly what we ordered and were very happy with the finished product. I was recommended by a friend of mine who also got her Wedding Cake from Tammi and we have both recommended her to other brides. The cake looked amazing, it exceeded our expectations.

After meeting with tons of bakeries and not being that impressed; I met with Tammi and LOVED her! I gave her an idea of what I was thinking about for the cake and she gave some great suggestions and ideas. Her prices are VERY resonable and many people have said it's the best cake the have ever tasted. I will definitely go back to Fancy Cake Shop for ALL of my cake needs in the future.

Never book your wedding cake with this vendor. My husband and I were very impressed when we did our taste test w/ Tammi and price she quoted us was great so we thought we would be in good hands when we decided to book our cake with her. My husband and I gave Tammi a picture of the cake design we wanted, picked the colors and went over all the details. The wedding cake she delivered on our wedding day was not the design we wanted or the colors. It was completely wrong. It took some effort to resolve the issue but ultimately Tammi agreed to refund some money and gave us a free cake for my birthday the following week (which I loved). I think Tammi is good at what she does, but she overlooks alot of details and I wouldn't recommend her for big events like a wedding. Maybe she should stick to birthday cakes.

I ordered a 3 tier white cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting and raspberry filling. It was the most moist, fluffy, and delicious cake I've ever had. Tammi was efficiant, very easy to work with, flexible, and completely mastered the dream and vision I had for my cake. The cake looked exactly how it was supposed to, the colors were right on, the design was perfect and all my guests raved about it. Tammi is amazing at what she does. I highly recommend her to everyone. I will for sure be in contact with her and her only for future cakes.

My cake was perfect! Tammi always got back to me right away with any changes I needed to make and trust me, I made a lot of changes. I found Tami online and after meeting with 5 other cake makers I was blown away with the freshness of her cakes and the attention to detail. It was everything we asked for and our guests raved about the cake. It was the focus of our reception. Thank you for making the perfect cake and giving me everything I asked for.

Tammi was hands down one of the most flexible and reasonably priced cake vendors we met with. She went out of her way to accommodate our needs including doing a taste testing with custom choices, supplying a glass base for our cake, and working with us to ensure our cake display would be structurally sound. But most important, the cake was delicious! We love her buttercream taste and texture, let alone the delicious cake flavors and fillings.

Our entire experience with the Fancy Cake Shop was wonderful. We ordered our wedding cake from here, as well as my bridal shower cupcakes (which were also delectable!). Tammi was very gracious throughout the entire process, from helping us initially choose the number of tiers and a design to the last-minute details. I would definitely recommend the Fancy Cake Shop to any bride, and to anyone who would like to have a little treat at a family event, celebration, etc.
