Tara from EAP was my Day of Coordinator and her services were invaluable!! As I had a vineyard wedding, and essentially had to hire out everything from the caterer to the linens, I don't know how I would have pulled it off. She was available for advice from the moment I booked with her and helped me organize my planning before the big day. The day of she handled all the tasks, big and small that I would have done myself, if I weren't the bride! Not only is she an amazing coordinator, she is simply a warm, fun person to have around on your wedding day! I would hire her again in a heartbeat! (hopefully though, I'll never be throwing one of these parties again!) Thanks Tara!

I hired Christine from EAP as my DOC for my wedding and she was simply the best. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her. She went above and beyond her DOC duties. She bustled my dress and all of my bridesmaids' dresses. My mom could not find anyone who was able to zip up her dress and it took Christine one swift try. When I practiced my choreographed first dance in my dress I discovered that I couldn't do the steps because I kept tripping on the back of my dress and I freaked out but Christine came to the rescue. With quick wit and 9839530858 pins, Christine pinned the whole bottom of my dress. She literally spent 15 minutes on the floor. I also think Christine has an advantage at her job because she has ESP. I didn't even have to ask her to do things, she just knew what I needed. If you're contemplating getting a DOC stop contemplating and hire Christine, you won't be sorry.

I was completely satisfied with Exquisite Affairs. I worked with Christine V. and she was amazing. Every possible concern or question that came out of my mouth on the day of my wedding, she had it covered! Everything was taken care of from soup to nuts. I highly recommend their services to all brides out there!

Tara Geremia at Exquisite Affairs did a great job! She was always in touch with me and very responsive, and took a lot of the worry away from me. I felt that I could totally rely on her on the day of the wedding so that I didn't have to think about anything other than getting married. The day turned out to be perfect!!

Christine was amazing, her services were invaluable, without her I wouldn't have been able to enjoy every minute of my wedding day - with her there, I didn't have to worry about a thing - the best vendor decision of all was to hire Christine as a day of coordinator. We used Exquisite Affairs for (i) DOC/planning services (Christine as our primary DOC and Tara as an assistant the day-of) and (ii) our menus, programs and thank you cards (Laurie). Exquisite Affairs is truly a first class business and we were very pleased with our entire EAP experience. I obviously go into (much) more detail below, but I honestly don't think you can wrong with booking anyone from the EAP team.
QUALITY OF SERVICE - booking Christine for day-of-coordinator (DOC) services was one of the best decisions we made during the whole planning process. She went above and beyond standard DOC responsibilities and pretty much helped every step of the way, from finding vendors to all my random wedding questions. She also spent several hours with us at the florist helping us decide on arrangements, bouquets, etc. and took care of mailing our linens back to the vendor after the wedding (when we were on our honeymoon).
RESPONSIVENESS - Christine responds to emails almost immediately and all within 24 hours. Equally important as the speed of her responses was the quality of her responses. I would sometimes write long emails with a list of random questions/concerns and she would reply back with detailed answers for each one. If I sent her a frantic long-winded email about whatever my problem/stress of the week was, her replies were always thoughtful, perfect and to the point. I don't know how she does it, but she just puts you at ease. Maybe with all her experience, she can always put things in a better perspective. Whatever it is, it works :)
PROFESSIONALISM - Christine is the utmost professional - reliable, responsiveness, honest and organized and has great attention to detail. She is also so friendly, warm and personable that even at our first meeting, we felt like we had known her for years. She's like the perfect balance of being a fun and crazy girlfriend, but one that is totally reliable and trustworthy too :) There was not one moment on our wedding day that I didn't feel that Christine was in complete charge and control of what was going on.
VALUE FOR COST - Christine was worth every $ we spent and then some. Her vendor recommendations easily saved us thousands of dollars and tons of stress. Just a few examples - (i) After researching florists and being scared off by pricey Manhattan florists, she recommended a Brooklyn florist. Not only was the florist an absolute sweetheart, we couldn't be happier with our flowers. We would have very easily been charged 25-50% more in Manhattan; (ii) After doing a bunch of research on limos on our own, we asked her for her opinion on the quotes we received and she was able to get comparable if not better pricing with another limo company she's used before. She doesn't push anyone to use her recommended vendors at all, but particularly for limos, shuttles, etc (I always hear horror stories about transportation being late, not showing up etc.), it made us feel so much better that she had worked with these companies and had good experiences with them.
FLEXIBILITY - Even before our wedding, we were already convinced that Christine had exceeded all of our expectations for a DOC (I know that sounds a bit ironic since we hired her for "day-of" services). But it was how she dealt with unexpected hiccups on the actual wedding day that had us completely convinced that we owe her our first born :)
A bit of background - during the planning process, we figured if we planned everything well enough, we just needed a DOC to make sure everything was executed according to plan. Sure there could be some minor unanticipated hiccups during the day, but we figured that was par for the course and were sure that Christine would be able to care of everything. While thankfully nothing catastrophic happened the day-of, there were definitely some unusual occurrences that Christine and Tara were able to take care of seamlessly: (i) Some of our guests got on the wrong shuttle from the hotel to the Church (before getting on, my uncle confirmed with the driver that it was going to the church. Not only did the driver lie, but once our guests realized they were on the wrong shuttle, the driver wouldn't let them off!) - Christine got on the phone and worked her magic. She spoke with the lost guests, the wrong shuttle driver and the correct shuttle driver and got the driver to let the guests off at an agreed upon corner and have the correct shuttle pick them up; (ii) Our videographer completely passed out in the middle of the ceremony - Christine again worked her magic. She got some food and water to our videographer, made sure she was okay and got her up and going before anyone noticed she was missing. These are just a few examples and we didn't even know half of this stuff occurred until after the wedding! Being the worry-wart that I can be, if I had known, I would have been totally distracted and pre-occupied worrying about how to fix things. But Christine was there and I didn't have to worry at all. I felt that she had the day under control the entire time and that helped us enjoy the day with hardly a care in the world.
In the end, we had an amazing wedding and had more fun that we could have ever imagined and a large part of that is due to the amazing Exquisite Affairs team. Christine was integral in the planning process - a calming force through all the ups and downs of planning and a great resource for random etiquette questions, style ideas and vendor recommendations. On our wedding day, she was there from the beginning to the very end, taking care of minor hiccups and major hiccups and hardly skipping a beat. Her rates are far better than anyone I was able to find, and even if her rates were double, she would still be an absolute bargain! Christine is a wonderful person, an amazing planner/DOC and overall just an absolute rockstar!
LAURIE We were extremely pleased with Laurie's work on our menus, programs and thank you cards. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. We decided fairly late in the process to outsource our programs and menu cards and even our the tight time frame, she was very accommodating. I emailed over a few samples and a couple of thoughts of what we were looking for and she came back with great mock-ups. I'm not very creative so I really appreciated her input and ideas. She was also very responsive to any suggestions, questions and changes.
When we were looking for ideas for thank you cards, we thought we wanted to incorporate a wedding picture or two. We looked around and couldn't find many that we really liked. The few options that we did like were a bit pricey, and you'd still have to do it all online (i.e. no creative input from a real person). Then we came across a photo postcard that Laurie did and we loved it! We asked if she could do it in as a folded card instead and that was no problem. Again, as soon as we sent her the pictures, she was able to turnaround great mock-ups almost immediately. Her prices were great and the quality of the end product was wonderful.
In a nutshell, Laurie is extremely responsive - even though she was studying hard for an exam at the same time, I don't remember having to wait more than a day for a response; Her rates are very competitive; And her work is beautiful - check out some examples of her work on the EAP website!

Christine V from EAP is the absolute best! I booked her about 13 months before our wedding after hearing all the great reviews from other brides on a LI forum. I booked her to be my "Day Of Coordinator" because I wanted to plan everything myself, but have someone be there the day of my wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly. We kept in touch via e-mail and any time I had a question, Christine would be there to give me advice right away. She became more like a friend. She also coordinated my rehearsal dinner (which I really needed because of my huge bridal party). The day of my wedding, she pulled through like I knew she would... she took care of all the little things and the other annoyances (which I did not find out until after the wedding) so that me, my husband and our families could enjoy our special day. I highly recommend her!

I cannot give enough praise about Tara! Tara was incredibly supportive and warm from the moment we met her. I was able to use her to bounce ideas and to ask for inspiration, get creative details for my wedding, and just talk. What a great, down-to-earth person is Tara. And what about her professionalism? Not only was she was very prompt in responding to my emails and questions, but she saved our butts!! Since she really thought about every major detail and knew the ins and outs of our wedding, she handed us a copy of our ceremony reading just moments before we were to start. The only time I got nervous during the entire day was just as I was about to walk down the aisle. That's certainly nothing that Tara can control! But she controlled everything else. I was worry-free as can be. This is simply due to Tara. On the wedding day, she ran up and down stairs to deliver hundreds of *things*, she set up my entire candy buffet and kept it filled the entire night, was in ten places at a time, and brought an entire suitcase of emergency supplies. You don't even want to know how many times we needed scissors that day! I certainly didn't anticipate it, but Tara did. She's a freaken pro! She even did my bustle because everyone had disappeared to cocktail hour after picture taking.
How would you like, on your wedding day, to have a friendly face tell you that everything is going great? And to look into that face and know that its true, because she is keeping it there? It's an amazing, freeing feeling. Seriously. Book Tara. Just for the peace of mind, for the organization skills and her keen attention to detail!

Christine is a ball of fire! She is organized, supportive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. She is reachable almost 24/7 by email. She gives great advice and comes up with solutions to the smallest issues. As a DOC, she has gone above and beyond. Christine created 2 floral proposals for me and even came with me to a florist meeting. She also came to the tasting to ensure the set-up goes smoothly with the venue. Christine went to bat for us to have the ceremony moved outdoors. She also oversaw the set-up of the entire ceremony and reception areas. Most importantly, she dealt with my family’s craziness as we got ready, had 2 separate tea ceremonies, took photos in Meatpacking, took photos at Battery Park, and changed into and out of my gowns/shoes/jewelry 3 times. Plus she helped my aunt and my cousin find needle and thread for a dress emergency. I firmly believe every bride should have Christine in her corner on the day of her wedding.

I went with EAP for my wedding invitations and for their wedding coordination services. I wanted our wedding invitation to be really special and Laurie helped us to achieve this goal. I could not have been more pleased with the quality and overall style of Laurie's work. Her work is simply impeccable. As for Christine, what a sweetheart. I can't begin to thank her enough for all that she did the day of the wedding and everything before. She did everything to make it perfect: even getting scoopers at the last minute for our candy bar.
In short, EAP is the precise mixture of command, sophistication, and elegance.

Tara was an UNBELIEVABLE Day of Coordinator. I only hired her for one day, yet from the night I booked her, she was available non-stop for me. We kept in contact via e-mail and she was constantly checking up on me and making sure everything was running smoothly. This was not included in our contract by the way, Tara is just an amazing person!!
On the day of my wedding Tara arrived right on time with her "bag of tricks" as my bridesmaids called it. She was on the ball with everything from makeup to hair to flowers to limos....you name it and she was on IT!! My family was so impressed with her services. They all laughed at me when I said I hired a DOC, but after they met Tara and watched her work her magic, they were blown away. My husband and I were blown away as well. I feel like she is one of my friends now, and I was so lucky she was there to share our day.

Tara was great to work with and my (now) husband and I were very glad we booked her DOC services, and would definitely recommend her to others.
She was great in being flexible to meet with me, as I was an "out of town" bride, so i had to make my appointments around my other wedding appointments.
Our wedding had gotten to be bigger than expected and she made me feel at ease with all the overwhelming feelings i was having. I am glad I decided to hire a day of coordinator. Even though the caterer apparently had "their people" to take care of me, i am glad I had someone, Tara, to look over everyone else (including all the other vendors, and, also me.) She was on the ball overseeing everything and it was nice not having to worry about the little things on such an important day. And it was nice to have someone keeping track of time - as it seemed to go so fast! She also picked up the bouquets on the way to meet us getting ready in the morning, which was a HUGE help for the day!
The only thing I wish we had done different is perhaps get some pointers on "working the room" so to speak. As time passed during the course of the reception, i felt like we werent getting around to say hello to everyone. Not that that was her fault, I just wish I had thought to ask how to manage the time going around to all the tables and speaking to everyone.
But it was a magical day and I have many beautiful photos to prove it. Everyone is smiling in each and every one.
