My husband and I found Evergreen on theknot.com and when I saw the pictures I knew it was the place I wanted my reception! Seeing it in person made me fall in love with the place even more. At first I thought it was out of my price range but I was able to fit it into my budget because I knew I wouldn't find a more perfect place. And let me tell you I was right! It was absolutely the best decision! Every time I see our wedding pictures of the place I get excited because it was just so gorgeous! Everyone made comments on how beautiful the place was. Nothing can even compare to this place it's perfect! Julie was awesome! She will do anything for you and she goes above and beyond her duties! She makes you feel like you are at home there! Her and her staff take great care of you and your guests and treat you as if you're family! I wouldn't choose any other place in the world to have my reception at! It was the best night of my life!

The Evergreen Events space is FANTASTIC! My husband and I found the site online, and we fell in love. When we finally got to town and saw it in person (after we'd already paid for it!), it was everything we had hoped for and more! Julie is a wonderfully sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable person to work with. She listened to my ideas and my concerns. She talked me through a couple of panic phone calls. We hit a few glitches with emailing back and forth, but Julie convinced me that everything would work exactly the way I wanted...and it did! The space was spectacularly beautiful, and the servers did a great job during the reception. Julie also provided space, mirrors, outlets, and drinks upstairs so my girls and I could get ready before the ceremony. Plus, no extra charges for stemware, chairs, cake cutting, and other "extras" like at other event spaces!

Julie was so helpful and patient with us in our planning. She was so easy to get a hold of over email which was important to us as we were planning most of our wedding over email. The building is gorgeous, the people were incredibly helpful...I am so glad we picked Evergreen for our wedding. It turned out better than we had hoped! Thank you Julie for being so patient with us and for letting us invade your gorgeous building for a weekend!!!

I am SO glad we chose this location. I cannot say enough good things. It is a historic, restored building, and is just gorgeous. It is located on the Paola town square, so the surroundings are great as well. Julie Miller is the owner/coordinator, and she was wonderful to work with. From the first time we met her to tour the building, to the day of the wedding, she was just wonderful. She was there to make my day perfect � and it showed. She was difficult to get a hold of for a few months during the planning process, but I later found out that her husband had open heart surgery during that time, so I completely understood. She always had an answer to every question I had, along with ideas. Just after we booked she called to tell me there was an antique car show the day of our wedding in the square, and although that presented some planning challenges she was there to solve them every time. She worked with the city, the county, private business owners, and the car show organizers to get a parking situation established, and to ensure that there would be cars (not vendors) parked in front of the building. It turned out to be a great thing, and made our day that much more special. The day of and throughout the whole night her staff was there taking care of EVERYTHING. They were always asking if I needed anything, and willing to take care of it all for me so I could just sit back and enjoy. It�s also nice that they don�t have any time restrictions on your event, and you aren�t required to clean up the night of. The space was ours for the whole weekend pretty much, and that made everything go very smooth. Again, I would recommend this venue to ANYONE, it was fantastic!! We got compliments all night long on what a great place we chose.
