Words seriously cannot express how phenomenal Jill is!! She was without a doubt the best decision we made in terms of wedding vendors. From the moment we met, I knew Jill was going to be amazing. I could tell she was extremely organized, professional, and I loved that she had a business degree background. She was one of the few people who did not scoff at the idea that we did not really have wedding "colors" but had more of an overall "feel".
We did the 6 week package with Jill, and she took care of making our timeline (which we even ran early on at the reception and allowed us to play a super fun game with the DJ) and communicating and coordinating everything with all of our vendors. We had our reception at the Oakland Zoo Snow Building, which essentially included only the building and banquet tables - everything else was from outside vendors which we had to find on our own. Jill did an absolutely amazing job handling all of the vendors we'd chosen. We had our DJ, caterer, photographer, videographer, and photo booth guy come up to us on separate occasions throughout the night at the reception to tell us Jill was the BEST coordinator they had ever worked with before, which is saying a lot considering how many weddings they do!
Communicating with Jill was a breeze. We exchanged emails and had phone meetings throughout the last few weeks before our wedding. Two days before the wedding, Jill drove to our house and loaded up her van with all of our reception decorations. I'd left instructions for many of the items to show where they should go in the room, but many of the decorations I'd just told her to put wherever she felt they looked best. Our reception turned out to be more beautiful and even more perfect than I ever could have imagined!! Jill executed our vision flawlessly and seemingly effortlessly.
I never once got a sense of stress from her throughout the entire process. You absolutely will not be disappointed with Jill!

I picked the "day of" package and Jill started to work on the timeline 6 weeks prior to the wedding. I knew I would need a day of coordinator since day one because I'm not the most organized person and details stress me out. I talked to a few coordinators before I decided on Jill. I felt Jill had the most to offer given the price of the service and I did like her business background.
I'm so glad I chose Jill, she's professional, organized, detail-oriented and pleasant.
We met two times in person to discuss details and she came to my place to pick everything for the wedding. She was there for our rehearsal and all day on the wedding day. Everything went perfect on the wedding day. To be honest I had no idea how many details she handled on that day, but I felt like being a guest at my own wedding and didn't have to worry about a thing.

I have been meaning to write Jill a rave review for the past four months now. Jill coordinated our intimate wedding in Napa at the end of April, and I cannot say enough great things about her work. She went up to Napa several times to scout out locations for both the wedding and the rehearsal dinner (we had about 35 people attending, which dictated what type of venues would be appropriate), which saved us a lot of trouble since we live in NYC. Both venues were beautiful. Even more importantly, she is really organized and on top of her game, interviewing and coordinating with vendors, and thinking of every little detail. Additionally, she recommended some great vendors for our wedding, including a fantastic photographer. Everything came out beautifully and we had a memorable weekend in wine country. My husband and I really felt like guests at our own wedding, which was an amazing feeling. Jill charges reasonable rates as well although she would be justified in raising them - she is definitely worth the investment, and then some!
Jill Guiomar is a total rock star. Thanks to her, I seriously had nothing to worry about on the day of my wedding.
We decided to hire Jill after a fiasco at a wedding that my now-husband and I had attended. It was really disorganized and the family of the bride had to scramble just to get some details completed. We decided that we did not want to put any burden on our own families, so we searched for a day-of-wedding coordinator.
We found Jill online and she came highly recommended. It helped that she had a business background. I do too, so I knew that she truly was someone who is assertive, detail-oriented, and efficient.
Jill's prices for day-of coordination are highly competitive based on other coordinators in the Bay Area. I would definitely recommend hiring a coordinator if you want a stress-free day and I would say that Jill is the best! She created a highly-detailed timeline and rehearsal schedule and then contacted our wedding vendors without even being reminded to do so. She also set up everything for the ceremony and reception. Now I had a TON of little details that needed to be set up. I even told her that I would send her pictures of how I wanted things to be organized, but in the midst of last-minute wedding stuff, I didn't send them to her as I promised. It didn't matter, because Jill had everything set up even better than how I wanted it. The timing of the wedding was perfect and even though Jill had everything scheduled perfectly, she still knew when to switch some things in order to make things flow smoothly. All of my friends and family were impressed with Jill and thanks to her not only were we stress-free, but my family was able to enjoy the day as well. Jill Guiomar is the perfect wedding coordinator! :)
Hiring Jill as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. I don't think I could ever thank her enough for making our celebration run so smoothly. It truly was a perfect day for me because Jill was there. Not only is she extremely organized, responsive, and diligent, but she is an absolute joy to work with and was such a calming presence during our wedding.
I was originally hesitant about hiring a coordinator. We got married at a country club that provided its own wedding coordinator. About three months away from our wedding, I started getting very nervous about all of the many details and parts coming together. It also was pretty clear that I needed more help than the club's coordinator. I hired Jill for a six week organizing package. She was so incredibly helpful in putting together all of the details of the event. She created an incredibly detailed timeline and made some great suggestions regarding the sequence of events. She also had fantastic ideas about more customized and unique wedding programs.
She came to our house a few days before the wedding to pick up all the stuff that you don't want to be thinking about the day of your wedding (escort cards, party favors, bridesmaid gifts, guest books, etc.). Everything was set up perfectly for the wedding, and she packed up the cars during the event so that there was nothing to do after the event ended. She also handled any potential issues with such ease. For example, one of the shuttles sent our guests to the wrong place. Jill fixed the problem, got the stranded guests to the venue, and our wedding started right on time. Even better, I had no idea that anything was wrong.
Her services are incredibly reasonable. I know that it may seem like hiring a coordinator is something that you can do without, but trust me, her services far exceed the cost.
We used Jill as our day of coordinator and I must say that was the best decision I had ever made. She took care of everything behind the scenes so I wouldn't have to. She was prompt in her replies and I loved her take charge attitude. she was awesome and I am glad that I made the decision to use her services!
Jill is freaking FANTASTIC! She is an absolute professional and gives her 110% to our wedding. She is a great value compared to all the event organizers/ coordinators out there. She was there from giving advice about invitations, talking with all our vendors beforehand, arranging the timeline and ensured all our details on the day of were done. She is extremely organized, friendly and easy to work with. My guests were gushing on how smooth and organized our wedding went. We couldn't have asked for more perfect day thanks to the hard work of 1 woman - Jill Guiomar - SUPER WOMAN. I was a worry-free bride. Tell your future husband she's worth it!
Jill was great to work with! I planned a mostly DIY wedding and a couple months beforehand realized I just couldn't do it without outside help. I hired Jill as a Day of Coordinator. It wouldn't be an understatement to say she saved the day! I was so wrapped up in my DIY projects that some of the most important things regarding wedding planning--the order, timing, and flow of the ceremony and reception--got a little lost. Jill really helped me out here. She created a great timeline to ensure that us and our wedding guests would have a fun, memorable evening. She also contacted all the vendors beforehand to make sure everyone was on the same page. On the wedding day she was there to coordinate everyone, keep us on track, help set up, interact with the banquet staff, and more! It was so wonderful having her there, I wasn't stressed at all on my wedding day because I knew I was in good hands. I think my wedding was especially tricky because we didn't have a DJ, just a laptop and a friend emceeing for us. But she made sure our friend knew when to announce something and that the right songs were being played for the formal dances. (By the way in retrospect, I probably should have hired a DJ). She wasn't phased at all when problems arose and was able to solve them quickly and efficiently. She was very responsive to my questions and emails, and fairly priced. I would definitely recommend hiring Eventful Days!
